Deception
The three arrived at the walls of the stronghold, Westminster Palace.
"So, how do we get back in?" Anne inquired, looking at Leo, a slight blush creeping at the corner of her ears as she remembered being carried like a princess by him. Despite the scary experience, she felt it had a romantic touch to it.
"You can use the gate with Mark... I will go up with Emily," Leo said, remembering that the girl complained about being carried by him. It was just an excuse, as he recalled Anne mentioning she had a boyfriend. As a way of being petty, he decided not to help her out.
"Huh," Anne looked at Leo, flabbergasted.
"Why is he acting like this again? I thought we were cool," she thought to herself.
"Anne, let's go... You'll get used to it sooner or later, I'll say later," Mark tugged at Anne's shoulders, empathizing with her.
