7 Chapter -6- [Only the dead can see me-2]

'Now my physical condition and my cloaking technique have been revealed, so they can be recorded. However, it is like everything I have learned in 1,000 years has not been recorded. I did all my training when the world stopped time, so it was before the Akashic Records communicated with the world.'

'I will see how these Akashic Records react in the future when I use my abilities...'

Yu Il Han relied more on his days of hard work than a few lines of writing that appeared out of nowhere. Just because his skill stats were empty didn't mean he couldn't use his spear. Therefore, it had nothing to do with him.

As he opened the front door of his house and walked in, he aimed to be on better terms with his family in this life than before. Over the past 1,000 years, the memories of the original Il Han had already become part of him. So he didn't think his parents would notice anything wrong with him. Even if they did, as Lita said, they would assume it was because they had been separated for ten years.

And as he walked in the living room door, he saw a woman sitting on the sofa.

"Mom.." It was the first time he had said that word in a long time. And he felt a little awkward.

"Il Han." When the middle-aged woman heard the voice, she jumped up from her seat, her eyes filled with tears as she saw her son after all these years. And she rushed towards Il Han and jumped into his arms. It was a moment Il Han could remember with his heart, not his brain. And he carved this moment in his heart.

"Mom." he called out again and hugged his mother tightly.

All these years had been nothing and he was just a little boy, and his eyes filled with tears. His mother was crying with him. 1,000 years had really affected Il Han, even though he wouldn't normally show it. They cried like that until his father arrived.

After crying their eyes out, they were hungry. When his mother, Kim Ye Seul, started cooking, she looked just the same. No one cared about the father, of course. He didn't have such an emotional moment with him.

Yu Il Han, to whom Lita had been providing food for a thousand years, had never seen Lita cook. Just seeing his mother like that had touched him.

After the rice was ready, the appetizing smell and the sounds of knives and pans warming up were a special joy for him.

"Thanks for the food!"

The table was quiet, with food prepared using ingredients that had been at home for years. There were a few dishes that she had learned how to make in the other world.

Yu Il Han ate his meal peacefully, listening to his parents talk about the worlds they had been sent to.

"Where were you sent, son? I was sent with the people nearby to a place called Ya-umin."

"Nameless place, mom. The 10 years I spent were very quiet. I spent that time in the forest near a small town, hunting..."

He didn't want to worry them by telling them he had been left behind on Earth. Fortunately, his muscles had shrunk due to mutation, so from the outside he looked a little more muscular than before he was left behind. He was sure that his secret would not be revealed by his appearance alone.

"Heishia was a perfect world if you ignored the fact that there was no rice. It was also very difficult to deal with mana or whatever. Even if I get used to mana, it's impossible for your father to deal with monsters."

Yu Il Han's father Yu Yong Han complained as he ate his first rice in ten years. Kim Ye Seul joined him.

"That's what I'm saying. They brought newborn babies, old people, even pregnant women and made them suffer. It was so pathetic to watch them suffer for ten years. It would have been better if they just took the young and sturdy ones."

Watching them complain to God like this, Yu Il Han finished his meal. But he realized that his family was focusing their attention on him.

"What about you, my son? If you can control mana, you can defeat monsters, right? From what I've heard from the women around here, those who can hunt monsters will make good money."

"They sure will. There weren't many that had talent in that, were there? Monsters or whatever bullshit they are, they are dangerous, so if one says they want to kill it, won't the country take care of them?"

"What are you saying, what money would the country give us!? It's not that. Their corpses are worth so much money!"

It was very amusing for Yu Il Han to see his parents talking about fantastic things that could only be found in fiction novels. Before this happened, if he had talked about these things, they would have told him to go study instead of talking about these novels or games.

"I can't use mana. But I've strengthened my body so much in these 10 years. I'm sure I'll be safe." And he confessed the truth.

"Yes. Whatever you choose to do, I am always there for you, son." said his mother.

"I knew it. You can't win the war against genes, huh?" his father said.

His family accepted it very quickly and he breathed a sigh of relief. However, it was not unreasonable. According to his family, he was someone who stayed at home all day playing games, studying or reading books, and he didn't like to train. They were happy that he trained and improved in those 10 years.

To them, it was hard to believe that their son had suddenly said that he would use the mana in his body to capture monsters. It was a 'what if' question asked only to get the answer they expected.

"Listen only to government announcements. Apparently it will be announced on the nine o'clock news."(Mom) (1)

"They can't be trusted. What if a monster appears nearby? Should we move to a place where there are people who can use high-level techniques?"(Father)

"It won't be a problem. But you shouldn't go to work for a while."(M)

"How could I? The company already called me more than ten times. I have to go even if I have to die on the way."(F)

"Hey! Don't say such unlucky things like that!"(M)

His family was 'happily chatting'. The time spent apart had increased their longing and brought them closer together. In fact, Yu Il Han was expecting the opposite effect, so he was happy.

After dinner, he gave up watching TV in the living room and went to take a shower and then planned to see how the passive abilities manifested. At the same time he was thinking that this time next year he might have a little brother or sister.

When he entered his room, he saw something in the middle of the room.

'..Hahahah! They're really here!!!'

Either this was God's joke or Lita's wish had been interpreted differently. His masterpiece, the steel spear and chaos blades were wrapped in dry clothes in the center of the room. Yu Il Han locked the door to his room as soon as he saw this. Right now, he only wished that his mother hadn't looked in his room until he came home. If she had, she would have asked him during dinner where these weapons came from, right? Or maybe his mother chose not to ask.

Shouldn't everything that had been changed by his influence be restored to its original state when the world returned to the time when it stood still in the first place? There should be no discrimination, even when it comes to the spear he made with the efforts of his body and soul.

But why? There was no way to find out. Had God only taken pity on the status bonus and gave it to him? Was Lita's wish to keep the sword counterproductive?

In any case, it was something to be happy about. He was planning to make a spear in the near future, so he was glad that God had spared him this trouble.

Yu Il Han first picked it up to hide it in his locker. But just then, green writing appeared in front of his eyes, just like the status he had seen before.

[ Yu Il Han's Steel Spear ]

[ Rank – Unique ]

[ Attack Power – 1100 ]

[ Durability – 600/600 ]

[ A miracle made by human hands using the pure technique to mold the spear without mana. It has hardness and strength comparable to that of a mid-class monster's bones. ]

[ Yu Il Han's Steel Double Blades ]

[ Rank – Unique ]

[ Attack Power – 850 ]

[ Durability – 500/500 ]

[ A miracle made by human hands using the pure technique to mold the double blades without mana. It has hardness and strength comparable to that of a mid-class monster's bones. ]

"Hmm.. 1100 and 850 attack power... Not bad for now? Let's see what kind of monsters I can create with mana in the future."

Akashik looked at the description in the Records and placed the weapons in his locker, thinking that these two would hold him over until he had a new item. He was a little disappointed, as he had expected to have an inventory different from the original, since it was mana and status we were talking about.

'While I'm waiting for the second angel to intrude on private property, I'd like to surf the internet for a while and have fun reading what people are writing...' So like this he put controlling his passive abilities on the background.

The return of humans and the Great Cataclysm happening at the same time was to be expected. Humans had been scattered to countless different worlds, but now they were back. They had to cooperate to adapt to the changing times. Humans had to communicate a myriad of information in different ways.

Among these ways, Yu Il Han chose the internet. This was because it was the most accessible, the largest and the source he was most familiar with.

'Ohhh.. There are some new posts.'

Yu Il Han sat down at his laptop, his eyes shining. It was much slower than the one he had borrowed and set up earlier, but he didn't mind. It had been a long time

the unrefreshed web pages had taken on a completely new look. Yu Il Han smiled when he saw this. He was happy about small things.

He had become both a captain who sailed the sea of real and a captain who sailed the sea of knowledge. After a few hours, Yu Il Han turned off the computer. He thought he had had enough fun.

Since everyone spoke differently, it was difficult to choose the right information. But after centuries of reading everything he could find, Yu Il Han's analytical ability and concentration were at their peak. Based on the government's explanation, he organized the information in the articles written by other people. This was done quickly. In other words, he didn't have much information to sort out.

'Naturally there are too many liars around.'

{I hunted a dragon in another world}, {I subdued a princess knight made her my sex slave}, {I solved the bonus question engraved on the back of the throne of a huge empire so I acquired a permanent item} – bullshit like that was everywhere.

The description about levels and monsters were also all over the place, so listening to them, he might as well believe that a kobold killed a demon race.

'Then shall I pick out the most objective milestones?'

He first organized the information on levels.

Until level 5 was an ordinary civilian. The majority of the standards to pick soldiers in other worlds were level 7, and when one became level 10, one could have swordsman, archer, and other classes as their jobs and could think of becoming a captain of 10 men.

When one becomes level 50, then the class advances. It was a sort of second advancement. As it seemed like powerful people and non-powerful people were separated using that line, advancement wasn't done by anyone and passing a strict condition to understand the Akashic Records better.

If a person did not fulfill the requirements of a second job, he could not go beyond the 50th level. But if someone completed his second advancement, even nobles could not look down on him.

The third advancement could take place at the 100th level. From then on, one was considered a high-ranking person who fought for his country. Leveling up was very difficult and not many people could advance to third advancement.

It was known that there was a fourth advancement (albeit on the internet) but no one had ever seen someone with a level four job.

There were only predictions about high-class monsters, such as dragons, on their 4th, 5th or even higher jobs. This was all the information about the levels.

After looking at these, he thought about what he was going to do tomorrow. First of all, tomorrow he was going to go to the university as normal. He was going there because he wanted to see Mi Rae. He wanted to see with his own eyes how she used lightning. And the other reason was that tomorrow he would officially start hunting monsters.

There were also announcements about making a special corps made up of mana users after creating anti-monster headquarters, but who knows. It wasn't such a credible announcement.

'There is no time for such useless stuff..'

During the day he would hunt and raise his level, at night he would meditate and increase his mana with the technique provided by Hongjun pagoda.

"Haah.."

As he thought that there weren't many differences even after humanity had returned, he sighed. At the same time, he remembered the kind and beautiful Lita who was always next to him when he was training and he longed to see her.

"If Lita were here now and heard my plans. She would be complaining to me, [Please, get some rest!] I miss her voice already..." And as soon as he said that, he heard a voice behind him.

[Lita would be so happy if she heard that.]

Slowly he turned around and there on the open window frame stood a small, winged creature. If you ignore the hair color and body build, she looked like someone who looked like a shrunken version of Lita.

[I am sent here to help you control mana. I...]

"A weird cosplayer who invades private property! Chibi version 2?"

[...An angel, my name is Erta.]

At that moment, he met his second intruder. Angel Erta..

-The end of chapter six-

(1) There is always someone there who does not understand who is who in these dialogues. So that's how I'm going to indicate who said that line.
