Victoria and Michael spun around in fright, huddling together immediately.

What they saw before them was a grubby middle-aged man. His hair was matted into clumps, and his face was so dirty they couldn't discern his original features. His clothes were ripped and worn. He was looking rather displeased as he fixed his gaze on Victoria and Michael.
