Shirona’s Comforting Breasts

When they arrived, the battle had already begun. Apparently a lively trio had reached the scene before Shirona and her group, running circles around the monster.

"The tail, the tail is crazy!"

"Ahahahaha, what're you getting all worked up about?"

The short-haired sunglass-wearing guy was being buried into the monster's back.

Shirona took aim with her X-Gun. The threat was undeniable - even she couldn't follow the dizzying motions of the tail currently ensnaring the man. Most of the holes in the beast's back were already filled with unconscious civilian captives.

"We'll lure it away. Kato, you get those people to safety."

"Got it."

The monster had thrust its face into the station concourse, its tongue coiled around an elderly man who was mere moments from being devoured. So Shirona targeted its cheek.

Boom!

The creature recoiled, not a lethal blow but gushing blood - its sheer mass preventing a mortal wound. It turned its attention towards Shirona and Anzu.

Anzu flinched slightly too before steadying her weapon. But then came the blood-curdling scream.

"Anzu!"

In the blink of an eye, she was ensnared, bundled up in the tail like the rest and dragged away - face buried into one of the holes in its back.

Kato had just rescued a child from a diminutive alien and stood dumbfounded, staring up at the monstrosity.

Shirona managed to think clearly. If they could lure it into the relatively low-ceilinged concourse, its movements would be restricted. Then focused fire alongside Kato would be enough.

She felt the oncoming wind pressure. Anticipating the attack, she reflexively dropped flat.

But it was futile - the tail seemed to predict her evasion, arcing low from the start with blinding speed before she could react.

"Raaagh!"

Luckily, Shirona had a stalwart ally.

Garchomp leapt in, pulverizing the tail with Brick Break before accelerating to scoop up the falling Shirona. It closed on the monster's face, delivering a devastating punch.

"Guoooh..."

The beast let out a guttural groan, one cheek and eye caved in, nose shattered and spraying blood as it opened its maw to retaliate against the advancing Garchomp.

But glowing tendrils lashed around its neck - Kato had fired his Y-Gun, initiating a Transfer and vaporizing the upper body. Seeing this, Shirona realized the battle was over.

She immediately moved to extract the captives. The buried man seemed largely unharmed.

"Well, I did owe you one after blowing off your finger last time. Consider us even."

Even after that harrowing ordeal, the boisterous trio swiftly moved on. If they still viewed this as mere entertainment, Shirona hoped the cost wouldn't ultimately be their own lives.

Most other captives were beyond saving, the holes filled with some acidic substance that had melted away their lower bodies. But she kept pulling them out regardless, fighting back nausea to properly lay out the remains.

"You okay?"

Anzu, protected by her suit, seemed physically unhurt at least. But mentally was another story, her mouth slightly agape as she looked to Kato, the man who had saved her. Shirona noticed a hint of something other than negativity as she wiped sweat from her brow.

With the monster neutralized, more civilians began emerging from hiding spots - tearfully thanking Shirona's group.

Kato flashed them a reassuring smile before signaling to move out, Anzu peppering him with questions along the way.

Mainly about his principles for taking action. Shirona was impressed too - they had been granted immense power, but with it came weighty responsibility to help others. Yet so few actually understood or demonstrated that obvious duty as innately as Kato did, clearly raised right.

"My parents aren't here due to a car accident..."

"I see, any siblings?"

"Got a little brother. I work part-time jobs so we can rent an apartment together."

"Then you can't afford to die. Either of you."

"We'll be fine."

Shirona glanced at Garchomp and grinned at Anzu. "We'll protect Anzu."

"Sis..." Anzu turned to Kato, brimming with pride. "She's our leader, amazing right?"

"Yeah...but there's still something I don't understand." His words trailed off as they emerged into a din of noise.

A small plaza opened up before them - currently a raging battlefield.

A powerful human figure stood there, snakes sprouting from his hindquarters and attacking George's group with autonomous malice. But they nimbly evaded the strikes while training Z-Guns on the foe.

Shirona sighed, their giddy laughter drowning out even the monsters' roars. It really did just feel like a game to them.

"What's wrong with those guys?"

She understood Kato's incredulity. The Tokyo team was likely far more grounded in perspective. Shirona wholeheartedly agreed – none of her harrowing battles allowed any amusement.

Though, she reflected, that first fight right after being transported was a bit different. The perfect synchronicity with her Pokemon partners...that alone didn't seem prohibitively dangerous. Yet she felt slightly ashamed at wanting to relive that exhilaration – a want that would surely bring ruin if indulged.

As Anzu explained the Osaka team's members amidst commentary on their Pokemon, Kato just seemed more confused - particularly fixated on Roserade dancing through the air.

"And this beautiful lady here is my sis Shirona. Cleared it twice, though Nobu still won't admit it. But she's really the one calling the shots, keeping us alive."

"How many times have you done this?"

"Just a couple for us probably, three times I think, we're the newest members on the team for sure."

"Incredible, and I've already scored 100 points twice...I think I've cleared it once. At most, I think that guy, Nishi, will probably reach 2 more times. He's cleared it 4 times already. I can't beat the record at all."

"Oh, I almost forgot." Anzu clapped her hands, gazing up at the towering buildings.

"Nobu's not even the highest. There's Oka Hachiro - he's cleared it eight times. Probably watching from somewhere in stealth mode right now."

Shirona found herself scanning the structures too despite knowing she couldn't spot him. Her uneasy premonition had never quite subsided, wishing he would join them for reassurance even if convincing him was futile.

"Oka...Hachiro..." Kato repeated the name, clearly in awe.

Shirona turned to Garchomp. Perhaps she was overthinking it. But just in case... "Think you can find him?"

Garchomp nodded confidently.

"Just do a quick check. Don't engage."

"Gar!"

Without hesitation, it took to the air - swiftly disappearing over the rooftops.

The battle right in front of them had just wrapped up too. George's group was taking a smoke break, though Shirona recognized it wasn't tobacco. Just another vice set to consume their tormented souls, the kind of bad influence Kyo might relapse under given half a chance.

George sat on the edge of a fountain, exhaling a cloudy drag.

"There's one here."

"One what?"

He didn't answer Muroya's question right away, preoccupied with shooing away Roserade trying to swipe his joint before stamping it out underfoot with a scoff.

"A 100-pointer. Gotta be here somewhere."

"You really think so? Might just top out at like 85."

"Look over there."

Everyone, including Shirona's group, turned towards a distant billboard. Atop the towering liquor advertisement near the roof of a skyscraper stood a lone feminine figure.

Shirona shuddered the moment she recognized the woman's silhouette before realizing it wasn't quite the same haunting visage. Her hair color and finer details differed.

Luxurious golden tresses cascaded down her back like a shimmering waterfall. A crimson kimono adorned with floral embroidery only accentuated its ethereal luster.

Clearly not human though, Shirona noted the bestial ears protruding unmistakably. And a plush, swaying tail as the resplendent beauty wordlessly regarded them from on high.

"So that's our boss monster, eh?"

"Sure looks the part."

Kuwabara was craning his neck to ogle the area around her feet, Milotic already preparing an assault before he laughed and moved to grope it - ice shackles instantly lashing him.

"Gonna take a swing?"

"Nah, let's clear out the grunts first. Rock-paper-scissors for her after."

George chuckled darkly. "My luck's been great today."

While Shirona suspected this alien was on another level, she couldn't judge if the woman justified a 100-point rating just yet. The otherworldly aura was certainly there.

But another peculiar presence still tugged at her mind.  The existence of Nura Rihyon. After all, she came in to protect Gantz, so maybe that woman was good at fighting and Nura Rihyon was more of a support role. The alien in the first image displayed by Gantz was not necessarily the boss. She knew it well from her past experiences.

By the time she looked back, the presence had vanished. George's group didn't seem concerned, seeing no need to give chase before the inevitable fight.

Just as they prepared to resume civilian evacuations, a rapidly approaching engine roared out - the unmistakable sound of a Gantz-issued special bike. Only this one was traveling faster than usual, the circular chassis weaving erratically in a discomfiting manner.

It was Kyo, which should've been a relief. But something seemed very off as he simply abandoned the bike mid-route, staggering ahead on foot towards Shirona's position.

"Huh? What's up with him?"

Kyo brushed past Muroya wordlessly, panting harshly with an ashen look - his destination firmly locked.

Kato eyed him warily. "Who's that?"

"One of our team, Hanaki Kyo. Twice cleared, used to be on something pretty heavy from what I heard but...ehhhh!?"

Shirona was too stunned to react at first as Kyo buried his face into her chest, both arms winding tightly behind her back with no intention of letting go.

"Kyo?"

Rather than answer, he merely shook his head - nuzzling deeper as a distinct bulge prodded against her suit, taking long raspy breaths like a man deprived of air until his previous rictus slowly softened. His clinging grew heavier, nearly enough to topple her if not for the powered suit despite her tall stature.

"Well this is an interesting scene." Yamada was already filming on her phone, Nakayama joining her to leer overtly.

Kato just seemed unsure how to react. Even Shirona couldn't maintain her composure, struggling to pry Kyo off only for him to whine faintly and cling tighter.

Gastrodon at Yamada's back began chittering.

After nearly twenty more awkwardly silent seconds, Kyo finally pulled back with a protracted exhale - meeting Shirona's wide, shaken eyes before abruptly recoiling.

"Not like that, I swear!"

Muroya's group had already moved on. With Nakayama, Yamada, Anzu and now Shirona outnumbering the men, his mortified denial was understandable.

"It's nothing, don't get the wrong idea."

Yet he didn't seem fully convinced of his own words, haunted by some unacknowledged yearning. But something else had clearly dawned on him, his features hardening before closing on Shirona and seizing her arm with grim urgency.

"We...have to get out of here. Now!"

Despite his frantic shift, Shirona glanced deep into his eyes. "What's going on?"

"We need to run. Everyone's going to die - it's too much this time. We have to hide until the phase ends!"

He tried dragging her towards the bike, presumably to speed their escape.

"Wait, explain."

"They might be coming after us, we need to go! Your Pokemon won't mean shit against what's out there. It's over..."

"There might not be a time limit this phase. We have to keep fighting until the aliens are all eliminated."

Kyo's face in that moment was haunting. Features contorted, brows furrowed tightly as his widened eyes brimmed over with dawning despair. Tears streaked down as his head lolled, swaying briefly before collapsing back into Shirona's steadying embrace.

Like a man fleeing reality, he buried himself against her once more.
