1 Chapter One

~ Prologue

Lights. That's the first thing I can remember when they came. I was young, or rather, younger. At the age of six I was abducted by aliens, I know what you're thinking; Great another story about aliens probing. Sad to say that you would be wrong. You see, my home planet, Earth, was under threat. The humanoid aliens, who call themselves Lexiconians, told the people of Earth that unless they send twenty-four six-year-olds to them every year they would destroy the planet. I and twenty-three other orphaned children were loaded up in a shuttle and transported up to their lead ship. I was taken to an operating room first, as I was the youngest of the lot and the most likely to succeed their expectations. They combined our DNA with the DNA of animals. By splicing some parts that they felt were necessary for our enhancements. I gained eyes, ears, and a tail of a red panda, they also tried to combine the brain tissue with mine, but it failed. Instead of losing intelligence, I somehow gained more, but to them I was a failure. So I was put to another use. I was sent back to Earth to 'recruit' more people for testing.

The success rate went up as they tested. Ones who weren't quite so lucky as I was were put down, and those who were successful were sold to the public.

After ten years I had had enough. I retaliated and in return they put me in the deepest vault that they could find. I have stayed here for the last ten years. Waiting for another chance.
