Weapon(2)

"This is a classic weapon, Desert Eagle. A gas-operated, semi-automatic pistol, one of the last few on this planet." said Tim as he reach the weapon to Red.

The weapon was fully silver with a black grip. Humanity as a whole stopped using gun power weapons 2350 years ago when the first monster stepped foot on Earth. Back then instead of a few goblins and orcs, a horde of dragons blaze the sky as they tried to lay waste to the planet. Humanity tried to fight back but the dragons had superior intelligence and strategies. They destroyed major cities and took control over the earth, terraforming the territories they had control. After two months of struggling against the dragons, hope can be in the form of an elve. That one Elve lead his army against the dragons forcing them back to the place they came from. With the help of the elves, humanity was able to take back the land they lost as superpower people began to spawn out of nowhere. If you would think that would be the last time humanity was at the mercy of another, you would be wrong.

One human had discovered a devilish plan in motion by the elves, at the same time the elves began to panic. The elve was planning of replacing humans on this planet by mating with them and hoping that their superior genes would suppress the human's genes. After mating with a few humans the elves began to realize the human gene were overwhelming the elf's genes, making humans with elves' blood not elve with human blood. After realizing what happened the elve was trying to correct their mistake but it was too late, the humans had figured out what happened. After that, the world was sent into a war that lasted 50 years, not long for elves but half a lifetime for a human.

At the end of the day, the elve came out victorious, humanity as a whole was in a panic thinking that they were going to go extinct but it never happened. The elves isolate themselves on a tropical island and left the human alone.

"They're better weapons I can show you." said Tim as he reach for the Deagle.

"No, I like this." Said Red as he rub his hand on the barrel of the gun. As if he was the only one in the room Red began to look at the tiny compartments that made the weapon unique. A rotating bolt, the spring-loaded ejector, the detachable magazine with nine rounds in it.

Greg slightly coughs to get Red attention who was staring at the gun intensely. Red quickly shook his head and gave back the weapon to Tim who walked to a cabinet near him. Before Tim could open the cabinet Red took a peek inside. A roll of small black bags big enough to fit in his hand was laying under different sorted crystals.

"Did you receive the payment already?" Greg asked Tim who just nodded his head and open the cabinet doors.

"Great!"

"You already paid?" Red asked Greg

"Yeah, when you were focusing on that weapon," replied Greg with a shrug of a shoulder.

"I didn't think it was that long..." Red went silent as he tried to remember how long it took, it would be a mistake if he believed Greg. Even if he can't prove it, he has this feeling that Greg isn't someone he wants behind his back.

"Here you go young man." said Tim as he reach for a bag and the Deagle to Red. Red looked in the bag and to his surprise, it was a bag full of bullets.

"Young man, don't underestimate the bag. I can tell you have never seen one before." said Tim

"Saw what?"

"A pocket bag."

"A pocket bag!? You mean it's one of those?" Red asked in excitement.

"Yes, the one that uses space crystals..." Before Tim could finish his sentence Red took the bag and shove it in his pocket and kept the Deagle in his hand.

"I'm ready to leave." said Red as he began to walk to the portal.

"Seem like someone is ready to test out his weapon." said Greg as he left with Red. Tim just shook his head and close the cabinet door.

Red just ignore Greg's response and stepped into the portal, as Red stepped out of the elevator he act like he put the weapon in his inside jacket pocket, instead, he turned invisible and kept it in his hands.

Walking out of the hunter corp, Red passed the same woman as before this time she smiled and bowed. It seemed like she had caught wind of him entering the high-end weapon selection.

"Hey Greg, can you drop me off at my apartment?" asked Red

"Yeah, are you sure you want to go back?" respond Greg as he looked at Red with his head slightly tilted.

"Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem you killed the witch right?"

"Yeah, I did."

"See there's no problem." said Red as he hopped into the limbo. Greg took his time to enter the limbo as he hold in head down in disappointment. Of course, he wasn't disappointed in Red but himself.

The drive to his apartment was quiet and uneventful. As the limbo stop in front of his apartment Red got out after telling Greg goodbye and thank you.

"Ok, I need to get clothes, that instantly leave before that witch comes to look for me." Red said to himself as he watched the limbo disappear from his view.

Without thinking twice, Red turned invisible and began to climb up his way to his apartment window.

Unknown to Red a woman with crimson hair was watching him from two buildings away.

"Finally he's back, I was getting tired of waiting." said the crimson woman as she rubbed her hand between her hair. "Should I go over there? No, it's too early I should see what's he's going to do." The woman said to herself as she walked from the window.
