prologue
In the year 2030 a new bleed of humans appeared on earth with each one of them possessing magic like abilities called Enki, the new bleed of humans where given the name Nergal's named after the Mesopotamian god of death because they were feared by the humans, Time passed and the fear in the humans only grew and they soon started hunting down and killing the Nergal's until a young man named Isaac pendra a university professor and one of the Nergal's stepped in and used one of his abilities to teleport all the one creatures with Nergal DNA off of the planet and got them to a new home.

Chapter 1: The timeless man
It has been over a thousand years since the Nergal's where teleported off earth and their civilization is thriving and has long surpassed that of the Earthling's, Isaac Pendra is still alive thanks to one of his ability and he has met a woman and they have since been married and have a sixteen year old son called Arthur and he's the main focus of this story, Arthur a young genius even among his race.
It may have seemed like the Nergal's escaped from the Earthlings without a trace but that wasn't it because in the year 3017 on Arthur's seventeenth birthday the Earthling would show up and decimate the planet and they killed over 500 million people in in just a week and enslaved the rest, luckily Isaac was able to save Arthur and his friends at the cost of his and his wife's lives.
POV: Arthur pendra
'It has been three years since the earthling's invaded our planet Terra, I have not heard anything from my parents and I lost three of my friends in the process of escaping but all is about to change, in the past three years me and two of my friends Alex and Luna have been working on a project that can change everything, I have spent the last three years designing and correcting materials to create the ultimate machine and with the help of my friends we finally achieved our goal we finally built a time machine ' with tears in my eyes the only thing I could do is give my friends a huge hug.
"It's time for us to go back home" I said to my friends.
"Are you sure this is going to work" Alex asked and I just smiled and said "don't worry we will survive the trip" but that didn't seem to calm him, Alex is probably strongest person I have ever seen but he fears is own abilities and I get it if I was him I would also be afraid of potentially becoming the strongest thing in the entire universe, I just looked at is golden eyes and said "it will all be okay". I repeated the plan to my friends one last time" we are going back to the year 3016 on 3 june and nine months before the Earthlings invade, that will give us plenty of time to prepare for the war", we got into the machine and I said to my Ai assistant "Leo turn on the machine" and it responded " as you wish sir", the lights shined bright as the machine turned on.
"It looks like stars" Alex said
" yeah they look beau—" I stopped mid sentence as I saw a grenade thrown in the room.
"Everyone get down!!" I screamed and the last thing I heard was *Booom* as I lost conscious.
Opening my eyes I found myself in a giant room filled with books
" where am I" I asked myself "wait I recognize This room, hey Leo what year is it"
"It's the year 3009 on march 3 and the time is 5:35am sir" Leo said.
"wait a minute that means I'm 6 again"
"Precise sir" Leo responded
"No,no,no,no this can't be happening" I said in panic " what about Alex and Luna, are they okay"
"Yes their heart beats and vitals seem normal" Leo said
"Thank gosh" I said, after a while of contemplating I saw a dark skinned woman with pure white hair as mine and bright blue eyes as the sky and my eyes opened wide before saying a word I never thought I would say again,
"Mom?" I said with eyes filled with tears as she came up to me and picked me up "hi baby", I hugged her so tight and sobbed like a baby.
" I told you to stop coming in the library alone" she said with her soft voice, seeing my mom again for the first time in years brought back a smile I lost years back " are you hungry sweetie" my mom asked and filled with emotions I only nodded yes " let me prepare dinner" she said, worried about my friends I ran out to check on them.
"I should start with Luna since she is the closest to me", while running I saw a girl no old see than my current age and she had big purple eyes and brown curly hair ' oh it's Luna'.
"Hey Luna, I didn't recognize you at first"
She rolled her eyes "really, you didn't recognize your own girlfriend"
'Oh shit, I'm in trouble' I thought to myself.
"no, it's just that your hair is different" I said nervously
"Let's just go check on Alex" she said "alright ma'am " I said.
Reaching Alex's place we went to his bedroom window
"Alex!!"
"Alex!" I screamed.
"Can you shut up, I heard you the first time you dumbass" "just get in" Alex said,
We climbed up and got in his room.
"So what happened" Luna asked
"The last thing I remember before waking up is seeing a grenade thrown in the room and destroying the machine, luckily it managed to transport us somewhere" I said
"Yes but this isn't the year we planned for" Alex said.
"You are right but it would take us 5 years for us to create another machine in our current body plus the my dad hasn't invented the Ohnyalei which is the battery capable to power the machine" I said
"So we just have to wait in these bodies" Luna said with an annoyed face as she fell back on Alex's bed
"Yep and we are supposed to start school this year" I said.
"You mean we have to go back to that snot infested place" Alex said
"Yep" "Ahhhhh" Luna and Alex growled in unison and I just laughed let out a laugh
"Hey at least we will get to meet Emma, Dante and zoey again"
"Yes but we won't be able to meet Dante for like 3 years from now" Luna said
" we can meet him earlier than that since I saved up their future memories in Leo" I said
"Huh you did what?" Alex asked
"I saved their memories in Leo,I do that for everyone I meet"
"And you never felt the need to tell us" Luna asked " I thought you guys already knew"
"How would we know that, you know you are probably the dumbest smart person I know" Alex said
"Hey at least it will come in hand" I said "it's a bit late I think we should go Luna, we will talk tomorrow Alex".
I got back home and found my Dad drinking coffee
"Hey kiddo, how was your day"
"It was okay" I said, the last time I saw my Dad he had five swords stabbed in his chest and I couldn't do anything but run and I know my dad probably didn't die since one of his ability is immortality but my mom's immortality is different she doesn't age but she can be harmed.
"Hey dad, why is life so unfair " I asked.
"Why do you ask that son?"
"Just forget I ever asked" I said
"One thing I can tell you is that nothing stays forever, I have been arrive hundreds of years and I have seen hundreds of friends die and I have learned to cherish what I have" he said
"Is that why you married mom because she is also immortal" I asked, he spit out the coffee and laughed "No! I married your mom because I loved her, both of us being immortal was just a coincidence"
"Alright I understand"
"Mom has made dinner, lets go eat'' my dad said.
After dinner i went straight to bed "hey Leo"I said "yes sir, can I help you with anything"
"Are the memory files intact?" I asked
"Yes they are except for one"
"And which one is that?"
"Sir Isaac pendra's" Leo answered
"My dads? what happened to it"
"Well sir you set the maximum amount of time for to be a thousand years but it shows that your father's memories exceed 5 thousand years"
"That has to be a bug, as long as my friends memories are intact it's okay"
POV:Alex
It has been a year since we got to this timeline,I'm currently 8 years old and Alex and Luna just turned 8 and it's time for me to revisit my worst nightmare...elementary school "man do we really have to come back here" I said while looking at our school
"Yes, if we want our mission to be successful then we have to get our friends" Arthur replied
"And you miss zoey don't you?" Luna asked and I just nodded "well the only way you will see your girlfriend is if you go to school"
"She isn't my girlfriend, not yet that is and we'll be lucky if Arthur's memory core thing even works" I said
"Are you doubting my intellect? I'm the smartest thing on this planet" Arthur said with a prideful smile and Luna just rolled her eyes
"Well you sure don't act smart" I said
"Let's just go to class and I will show you it works" Arthur said.
Our school was located on one of Terra's floating island and the only way to get there was to either fly there or use the portals and since we couldn't we couldn't fly we had to use one of the portals, I looked up and saw a view I haven't seen in a while a beautiful sunrise and smiles on my friends faces. We got in the class and there at the corner I saw two girls sitting together one had pure white hair like Athurs and eyes as green as emeralds "Zoey" I said to myself, Zoey was Athurs cousin and my girlfriend. The other person had long blonde hair and purple and it was Emma, I looked at Arthur and said "give me the cores"
"Let me explain how they work first" Arthur said
"Oh right", he took out two spheres the size of tennis balls and said "you have to put these on their heads"
"You know Zoey will blast me if I touch her head right" I said and he just laughed.
I went up to Zoey and Emma and said "hey I'm Alex, can we be friends"
"I'm Emma, sure we can be friends"
"And I'm Zoey" the girls said, I sat down next to them and said "do you guys want to play a game"
"Sure what game" Emma said excitedly and Zoey just gave me a simple yes.
"Alright the game is who can balance these little balls on their foreheads the longest" I gave them each one core and has soon as they put it on their heads they were knocked out 'did I kill them' I thought to myself right before Zoey woke up and blasted me with ice knocking me to the wall 'damn I'm stuck, if anyone other than me was blasted with that they would instantly freeze to death' I thought to myself, looking in front of the class I saw my stupid friend laughing at me 'so that dumbass knew what would happen, I'm going to kill him'.
I got myself out the ice and went to check up on Zoe and Emma
"are you guys okay" I said
"Yeah I'm goo-" Zoey stopped mid sentence "why are you a kid?" she said
I told her and Emma what had happened in our lives, about losing them and inventing a time machine and the accident that lead us being in these bodies.
"That's the all story" I said
"So you mean we died in the future" Emma said
"Yes and I'm sorry I couldn't protect you guys" I said with tears dripping down my face
"We don't need you to protect us Alex" Zoey said
"I know but if I wasn't so scared of using my powers you probably wouldn't have been killed and I probably would have defeated the Earthlings" I said
"Don't blame yourself so hard, but promise me that if an enemy that we can't defeat comes you will step in and not hold back" Zoey said as she gave me a hug
"I promise you that as long as I'm here no one will die, I'm the strongest after all" I said with a cocky smile
"That's my boy" she said
"Are you two love birds done" Emma said, we just looked at her with annoyed expressions.
"Hey guys, are you good" Arthur
"Hey pumpkin head, I see your head as gotten even bigger" Zoey said
"Oh shut big forehead" Arthur said "I really missed you guys"
"I would say I missed you too but it feels like I just saw you today" Emma said
"I can see it in your eyes that you guys have gone through hell" Zoey said
"It wasn't that bad" Arthur said trying to be modest but the truth is it was one hellish experience, everywhere you go there where only dead bodies and the human soldiers were hunting down every survivor if it weren't for Arthur's dads secret lab we wouldn't have gotten them machine to work.
POV: Arthur
I finally brought back two of my friends and the only one remaining is Dante, I got back home and saw my mom telling my dad something with a smile on her face
"Hey Arthur, how was school?" My dad said
"It was fun" I said
"That's good, we have something important we want to tell you" my dad said
"Alright ,what is it" I said
"You are going to be a big brother" my mom said excitedly
"Huh? What did you just say?" I asked
"She said you are going to be a big brother, ain't you excited" my dad said. My problem wasn't that I didn't want a sibling it's just that I never had any siblings in the future 'this has to be an anomaly, we probably changed something'.
"That's great, I can't wait to be a big brother" I said.
