2 Chapter 2: Odin's Eyes & Bora of Prominence
A/N: I'm following the manga when reading this so there might be some changes compared to the anime if you're an anime-only watcher.
Furthermore, I want to try write this fic so that even someone who hasn't really watched fairy tail but knows about it is able to read this which is why I'm not just blitzing through information/parts unless it's actually irrelevant.

In the town of Hargeon, a familiar white-haired boy could be seen sitting in a restaurant behind a trio that stood out for certain reasons.
"Fanks for da food!" A pink-haired boy thanked, a handful of food in both hands ready to shove down his throat even though his voice was muffled due to his mouth being full.
"Yup yup" A blue cat nodded its head, eating a fish it was holding whilst standing on the table with a good-looking blonde girl staring at them with a sweat drop.
'Hm... part of me wants to join Fairy Tail and follow most of the canon so that I can get a lot of opportunities and reap all the benefits, but part of me also wants to do my own thing... but I'm not that big of a Fairy Tail nerd to know exactly what I was doing and what my actions could cause' He pondered for a bit, but shook those thoughts off before thinking of his 'Status' as a blue holograph appeared in front of him.

After reading his stats, he decided to open his skills after checking his quests and realising he had none currently, unsurprisingly.

[Effect 1: The use is able to eat ice, excluding his own, to regain stamina and mana/etherano]

After reading through the interface, he couldn't help but widen his eyes a little as his mouth gaped open slightly.
"Wow..." He couldn't help but muster, his body shaking in excitement, "Calm down... don't make yourself look like a weirdo" He mumbled to himself, breathing in and out to calm his excitement down a little.
'So I can delete most spells of opponents I'll fight in the future, I get stronger quicker thanks to the passive skill, and I have a god slayer magic and a 'God seed', whatever that is - sounds OP though' He thought with a smile.
"-THERE'S NO WAY YOU'D FIND A DRAGON IN A HUMAN TOWN!! AND QUIT MAKING FACES LIKE YOU NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT" The boy's thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the blonde girl's shouting.
A few seconds later, the girl stood up with the pink haired boy and blue cat proceeding to go into a dogeza position.
"THANK YOU FOR THE FOOD!" They shouted, embarrassing the blonde as she insisted on them stopping and getting up, "I don't want that!" She smacked away a piece of paper signed by 'Salamander' the pink-haired boy held out with evident spite in her voice and face before leaving the restaurant, leaving the pink-haired boy and blue cat alone with the eyes of many spectators in the restaurant.
"Excuse me" The pink-haired boy and blue cat heard a voice coming from the side where they looked up to see a handsome boy with white hair and red eyes, "I overheard you and that girl talking about wizards and guilds, would you happen to know about Fairy Tail?" He asked, "Ah, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself.
The name's Shiki (A/N: Mix between Shiro, which means white, and Yuki, which means snow), nice to meet ya" Shiki said, holding his hand out for the pink-haired boy to grab.
"Ha! Of course I do!" The boy gave a toothy smile, grabbing hold of Shiki's hand and lifting himself up with the assistance of him, "I'm Natsu, Natsu Dragneel"
"Aye! And I'm Happy!" The blue cat introduced itself with a salute, "You got any fish?" He asked.
"Nope, sorry. I'm kinda broke right now" Shiki stated bluntly, rubbing the back of his head with an awkward chuckle, 'I should really solve that problem later, shouldn't I? Maybe joining a guild isn't a bad idea for now'
"Haa..." Happy sighed, "Why're people too broke to buy a measly cheap fish? Aye?"
"..." Shiki looked down at happy with a small vein popping on his forehead, tempted to punt the cat out of the restaurant, 'Says you!'
"So, you're wondering about Fairy Tail, are ya?" Natsu asked for clarification, raising his arm and patting Shiki's shoulder, "Well, ya asked the right guy! Hahaha!" He said with a laugh.
"What do you mean?" Shiki asked, acting oblivious as he tilted his head slightly causing Happy to chuckle to himself.
"He he he... you see, Natsu here is actually a wizard himself! A wizard of Fairy Tail to be exact!" Happy cheered, waving his arms out to the side to emphasise Natsu who had his nose held up high full of pride.
"Oh, for real? That's cool" Shiki clapped his hands, earning an unsatisfied look from Happy.
"Eh...? That's all you have to say?" Happy sighed, his smile turning upside down as he looked at the floor in sadness, "And after I hyped him up so much..."
"Say, why don't we go on a walk?" Natsu offered, patting his bloated stomach as a burp erupted from his mouth.
"Aye!" Happy's mood brightened instantly, "Sure" Shiki replied.
The three left the restaurant and walked around Hargeon for a bit talking about wizards and guilds, Fairy Tail mainly. After a few minutes of aimless walking, they ended up at a stairwell which they walked up.
"So, you thinking of joining?" Natsu asked, his hands placed on the back of his head whilst leaning on a railing not too far from a pair of girls.
"Maybe, I really need the money and the idea itself doesn't sound too bad. I'll probably check it out first before anything" Shiki said, resting on the railing waiting for the girls to mention the fake salamander.
And after a minute of waiting and talking, as expected, they began to speak loudly in excitement as they pointed at a yacht on the port of the town.
"Look! Look! That's Salamander-sama's yacht!" One of the girls shouted, "Awww! I wanted to go to the party, too!" She added, clearly envious with her words.
Her friend, unfamiliar with the name, asked "Salamander?"
"Don't you know?!" The first girl replied passionately, in disbelief at how her best friend was clueless "He's that amazing wizard that came to town!" Her friend still showed an unsure look on her face so she additionally said, "You know! That famous wizard from Fairy Tail!!"
At the mention of Fairy Tail, Natsu and Happy's attention was instantly drawn, a hint of anger showing on their faces as much as they tried to hide it, "Fairy Tail, ay...?" Natsu looked down at the yacht on the port before looking at Happy, "Happy!"
"Aye aye!" Happy saluted, summoning a pair of white wings on his back and he latched himself onto Natsu's back and lifted him up quite effortlessly, "What about-" Happy was about to ask Natsu about Shiki when
"I'll catch up in no time" 'Probably', "Just head to the yacht first!" He began running back down the stairwell and heading in the direction of the yacht.
"Aye!" Happy flew over to the yacht with Natsu in his little hands - or paws, that probably makes more sense.
Running in the direction of the yacht, Shiki re-opened his status once more, his stats to be exact as he looked at his 50 stat points.
'Now the question is, is 50 a lot or what? If I knew that it would make allocating them much easier' He released a small sigh before hesitating for a few seconds and then increasing his stats, using up all 50 of them.

'Hm... I don't FEEL like I've gotten stronger or anything... but I guess we'll see now if I have' Shiki smirked as he looked up to see he had arrived right after Aquarius, Lucy's (The Blonde Girl) celestial spirit, had sent it flying into the harbour shore.
He ran into the ship to hear Natsu saying angrily, "'Cause I'm Natsu of Fairy Tail!! And I ain't ever seen you in my life!!" While smacking a few unnamed grunts away with merely his palm, shocking Lucy and the fake 'Salamander' as he revealed his Fairy Tail guild mark on his right shoulder.
"T-That one's the real thing, Bora-san!" One of Bora's henchman turned to him in surprise, earning a smack on the head by him.
"Y-You idiot! Don't use that name!" He shouted in both panic and anger.
"Bora... A few years back, a man named Bora the Prominence was expelled from the Titan Nose guild for using illegal magic" Happy monologued, revealing the fake 'Salamander's true identity as Bora the Prominence.
"I don't care if you're good or evil... but I won't let you slander the name of Fairy Tail!" Natsu scowled, his veins threatening to burst any second as he walked over to Bora and his gang.
"Yo, Natsu!" Shiki called out, causing Natsu, Happy, Lucy and Bora and his henchmen to turn their heads in his direction, "I called Natsu, not you guys"
"Shiki!-" Natsu's anger seemed to vanish instantly as a smile appeared on his face when answering Shiki's call.
"Hah! Don't lose focus, you stupid little brat!!" Bora shouted, shooting a massive flame at Natsu which covered his body much to Lucy's worry.
"NATSU!" Her eyes widened in shock, worried that Natsu might be scorched and burned, if not dead from rescuing her and the other women on board.
"Heh!" Bora smirked, thinking he had defeated Natsu.
"Uowahhhhh!" A yawn could be heard coming from the human-shaped flame, surprising everyone unfamiliar with Natsu's powers, "Are you really a fire wizard? These flames taste like shit! Gagh!" Natsu stuck his tongue out in disgust, a bit of the fire still leftover.
"...HUH!?" Lucy and Bora's mouth gaped wide open, almost dropping to the floor as they witnessed a pink-haired boy engulfing all of Bora's fire before wiping his mouth.
"Ahhh... thanks for the meal anyway" Natsu smiled before smacking his fists together.
"W-What kind of magic is that!?/That isn't human!!/MOMMAAA!!" Could be heard coming from Lucy and Bora and his henchmen.
"Fire doesn't work on Nat-" Happy's face darkened as he was about to explain the concept of Natsu's magic, but Shiki simply said
"He's got slayer magic, it allows the user to eat the element of magic that they use"
"Aye! I was meant to be the one explaining!" Happy complained with a pout, before clearing his throat, "As Shiki RUDELY said, Natsu has slayer magic, Dragon Slaying magic to be exact. A dragon's lungs exhale fire. A dragon's scales dissolve fire. A dragon's claws are enveloped in fire. It's an enhancement of his magic which was originally a weapon developed AGAINST dragons. He's a fire dragon slayer, and Igneel taught him all he knows" Happy explained as Bora was getting off-screened by Natsu.
"Say, isn't it strange that a dragon is teaching someone magic that slays dragons?" Lucy said, shocking Happy as he gasped in realisation, "I never thought to ask!"
"So..." Lucy placed her arms behind her back, walking over to Shiki, "Who are you, exactly?" She asked with a smile so as to not come off as rude.
"Shiki, a new friend of Natsu's and Happy's" Shiki answered as he looked down at Lucy (He's 6ft, she's 5ft5) with a smile of his own in return.
"..." Lucy went silent as she looked Shiki up and down, entering the world of her thoughts as her internal self placed her hands on her cheeks and jumped and wiggled around, 'A hot, bad boy! Just my type!' She cheered, though on the outside she was normal except for the fact she looked at Shiki for a weirdly long amount of time.
"Um... is there something on my face?" Shiki asked, snapping Lucy out of it as she jumped back with a flushed face.
"N-No! All good!" She laughed her awkwardness away when suddenly the group heard a loud shout alongside a large quantity of footsteps getting ever so close.
"A-ALL RIGHT! WHAT'S THIS, THEN!" A small army of people clad in armour ran towards Shiki and the group, causing Lucy to panic as she screamed.
"IT'S THE ARMY-! Eh?" She looked down as she realised her two feet weren't on the ground any longer as her arm had been dragged by Natsu, running away from the army.
"We gotta get out of here!" Natsu shouted, Happy and Shiki running alongside them calmly with smiles on their faces.
"WHY'RE YOU MIXING ME UP IN ALL OF THIS!?!" Lucy screamed, causing Natsu to turn his head as he released his grip a little allowing her to run on her own two feet
"Hey, you said you wanted to get into Fairy Tail, right?" He asked, stunning Lucy as he carried on, "The come along!" He said with a smile, "Oh, and you're coming too, right Shiki?"
"Yup, I'll see if I'm interested, maybe see if I can take a job or two for some money before making up my mind!" Shiki replied, raising his voice a little as the army wasn't far behind them.
And so, after running away from the army and managing to split away from them, the group consisting of Shiki, Natsu, Lucy and Happy finally ended up in front of the Fairy Tail guild building in the town of Magnolia.
