Eyes' Encounter

Magnus' mind was so busy thinking of the last conversation he had with the royal guard in the waterfall while he was walking back to his house and staring blankly at nothing. He was grateful that his body already knows the way back to his house or else he would have gotten lost since he was not focusing on the road at all.

He stood there in front of the door of his house with his hand on the handle while trying to push everything out of his mind so that his father won't him any questions or worry him before he fakes a smile and opens the door.

Alfred was nowhere to be found in the house which kind of terrified the true blood who already looked in all the rooms in the house but could not find any trace of his father.

Alfred usually sleeps at this hour so why wasn't he in his bedroom sleeping?
