44 The Devil Himself!

Instead of reacting towards Dryan words, Dasya folded his arms across his chest, staring at Dryan with a weird look on his face.

Even though his facial expression was scary, Dryan was still brave.

Dryan would never do anything that would make his mother to mock him, nor would he allow his sworn enemy to walk out of his courtyard with his head intact.

"Tani, I think it is time!" Even though he was scared, his voice showed no fear.

"Good thing I came here at the right time". Tani, who just arrived at Dryan courtyard, smirked cruelly before she let out those words.

"I think it is time to summon the devil. We must summon the devil and lock him in our web! The devil is ours!" His voice sounding desperate, he uttered.

"I like that spirit of yours. That poor body will now be able to rest". Tani muttered before taking off the fur covering her light gown.

Dryan chuckled before he continued. "Let's summon the devil, Now!"

Tani closed her eyes, and teleported to where Dasya stood. She placed her hands which were removing blue smoke on Dasya's body.

While she closed her eyes in order to read every moment the devil spent in Dasya's body, it was blank. She did not see anything.

This was the first for her.

As a witch who possesses the blue, white and black magic, she could summon the greatest demon in the world. Yes, she summoned the third most powerful demon.

"Tani, what is wrong?" Dryan, who had been staring at Tani for a while, inquired curiously.

Slowly, Tani opened her eyes, which had already changed colour from green to white.

"Dryan, run for your life". Tears streaming down from her eyes, blood gushing out of her head, she managed to instruct Dryan.

Not only had the demon managed to suck her energy, but also tried to penetrate her power.

"Tani, what rubbish are you saying? Did you want me to allow that sworn enemy of mine to leave this place alive?" Dryan, who found Tani's words unbelievable, asked with a strange look on his face.

"Dryan, this is the last thing I can do as your friend! This is the only way I can pay you back for saving my family from your mother's wrath! Leave!" After letting out those words in a yell, she continued. "This isn't Dasya! This is the greatest demon in the world. Only the direct descendant of the witch who locked him can also do that. He will only suck my power and kill me! So, run while you can!"

"Tani, how can I leave you alone? Wait here, I would gather the most powerful guard in the palace". For the first time, Dryan felt scared of losing someone.

"Dryan! Just go! He is getting more powerful! He will draw the energy of the men and become more powerful. Powerful enough to claim Dasya's body! Just go, and I promise to take care of him". After Dryan got those reassuring words from her, he rushed out through the exit at the right corner.

Tani felt relief as she watched Dryan walk out of his courtyard.

With the little energy left in her, she gathered all the wind energy around her then threw them at the corner where the doors were, making the door to lock.

Only her blue magic can lock doors using the energy from the winds.

"I love everything you put up. Aside from Celie, no one had ever made me watch and chuckle from my corners". Dasya's voice sounding more fierce than before, he muttered as he took a few steps closer to her.

"Demonica Damen! How long will you punish this body?" Tani questioned, her both palms rubbing each other with great force in order to be able to produce the three magical balls— White, blue, and black ball.

Dasya's loud chuckles took a few seconds of the silent courtyard before his scary voice followed. "I am Dasya! Dasya is me!"

Tani's eyes widened at the Devil's words, her body trembling the instant she heard those words.

It can't be possible! The devil can't take Dasya's body!

"No! You did not belong to that body! You belong to the pit of hell!" With that from Tani, she forcefully threw the ball encircled in her hands at him.

Anticipating the groan of the devil, she was amused at how the Devil was never affected by her balls.

"Black witch Tani, get out of my way if you don't want to get hurt! Everyone who hurt Dasya must also have a taste of how hurt he was". He uttered in assurance as he took some few steps closer to the door.

A faint smile made it to his lips as he watched Tani teleported to his front again. She was indeed a hard lady to deal with.

"Demonica Damen, if you want to hurt those I love dearly, then hurt me first! If you wish to get out of this courtyard, then slit the throat of this lady". Even though she was afraid of dying, what use will it be to be alive and watch everything she protected get destroyed?

She wished she had seen this coming, she would have run away to a far land with her sister and make sure she protects her hidden family.

"For the last time, Tani, get out of my way!" His voice sounded like a loud roar, he instructed.

Tani, who was adamant, took a few steps closer to him. "Demonica, my words are my actions! I'm not concerned about death! I am that lady who embraces death warmly!"

"Then death it is!" His voice showed no emotions, neither was he worried about the outcome of the fight.

Dasya used the tip of his finger to draw her closer using the energies from air, and wind.

"Poor you, I will start by breaking the wing of your eagle!"

The next thing that followed Demonica Damen's words was the sound of broken bone.

"Arrgh!" Tears ran down Tani's cheek as she felt intense pain due to her broken wings.

"Why are you on earth?!" Even though the pain she felt remained intense, she managed to ask loudly.

Another round of laughter filled the courtyard just as the groans of Tani.

"Tani, why are you fighting me when you also want Dryan and his mother to die? Why are you pretending? Were you actually going to let Dryan have me after awakening me?" The questions made Tani keep mute as she stared at him in awe. She did not recall Devil could read the memory of a witch. "Tani, would you rather die for the sake of the person who took Chila's happiness or have your revenge?"

It is indeed a hard choice for Tani to make.
