46 The Devil was Once an Angel

When you've been found out, there's no escaping. Once you've committed one of those errors, you've outed yourself to speak and had to go with the consequences, whatever the consequences are.

While coldly glaring at me, Marvel's voice slammed against my ears as I still found it hard to believe he called me by that name.

It had been a while since I heard my name being called. My real name.

"All the abnormalities that happened in the underworld recently, it was you, right?" He confirmed, still pointing his gun at my head. "Of course, it's been you all along."

There was a change in his tone and the way he spoke which sounded unfamiliar to me. Although this place wasn't his territory, he didn't at all feel intimidated. It was the reverse.

I was kneeling down, pinned by two of Marvel's men on my left and right with my hands in the back. Standing in front of my hunched body was Marvel, holding me at gunpoint, ready to fire anytime.
