Overcast Features

The tiny underground bar huddled beneath the tall city buildings. Washed out under the overcast sky, it hunched in itself, fighting against the drizzle. Some people rushed through the crowded street, leaping down the stairs in the alley to a door. Some customers glanced up as that door swung open, expecting their companions. Unlike the temperature outside, the interior of this bar was warm with soft dim lights and vintage brick walls.

"I never thought you would call me," I began the conversation with a blonde who was sitting next to me, a lady of an acquaintance.

Surprised even myself, she was Larysa Monner, who also happened to be Marvel's ex-fiancee.

"It's been so long since the last time we met," she sniggered, her voice was filled with elation. "I heard you and Marvel were going overseas for a business trip, so I threatened Gilbert to give me your phone number!"
