Never Going To Let Him Go.

"No father, you can't hurt Carter" Avril got up on her bed, chasing after her father who was almost reaching the doorstep of her room and held him back by the arm before he could open the door.

She needed to understand what her father meant by Carter preparing himself for what he had in store for him.

Alpha Mills stopped and turned to meet with Avril's gaze, her poker face was filled with worry and the aura coming out of her body was unable for one to read. A sad scowl covered her lips which were threatening to turn down.

Avril knew her father was going to hurt Carter for hurting her, but that wasn't what she wanted. She only wanted to change Carter's mind and make him not to reject her without her father interfering but now he really wanted to interfere.

He was just going to sabotage everything for her, which Avril definitely didn't want and that was why she stopped her father before he could leave so he could give her a listening ear before he would leave the room and destroy her plans.

"Why can't I, pumpkin?" Alpha Mills removed a few strands of hair covering his daughter's face and continued. "If Carter wants to still go ahead with his plans of rejecting you, then I got to teach him a lesson for playing with your heart".

Alpha Mills' voice sounded soothing to the ears, but not to Avril who knew he was only trying to use it to get her to change her mind and leave him to hurt Carter.

Avril shook her head negatively saying, "I understand you father, but you should know when you try to hurt Carter, you will be hurting me as well. Just give me a little time and I would be able to get him to change his mind on rejecting me".

Avril pouted, giving her father the puppy dog eyes and blinking them continuously for him to give in to her. She had her tactics of getting her father to do things she wanted for her and that was when she cried or used the puppy dog eyes.

The crying tactics worked out the most for her, but she had cried a lot and her eyes were really bloated so the puppy dog eyes would be better for her to use right now to make her father give in to her.

A deep hiss escaped from Alpha Mills lips as he watched his daughter pouted and used the puppy dog eyes she always used in winning him over to her side. He rubbed his eyes to get the charm of him but Avril's hold on him was irresistible so he just threw his hands up in and gave in.

"Fine, I give up, I won't hurt him" He threw his hands up in the air after he lost and gave in to Avril who screamed a 'yes' and whirled around before giving her father  a bone-crushing hug.

"I love you so much father, thanks" Avril thanked Alpha Mills while embracing him and he smiled accepting his daughter's sweet warm embrace.

"Father loves you too, Pumpkin" He kissed the top of her midnight hair and gave her a soft pat on it too, before Avril could break free from the embrace.

Avril smiled and her heart throbbed immensely with joy, her father wasn't going to hurt Carter anymore as long as he had given her his words. She trekked towards her bed and stopped on hearing her father speak from behind.

"I'm going to give you only three days to get Carter to change his mind, pumpkin," Alpha Mills sighed, saying. "And if he doesn't, he would give me no other choice than to hurt him but I'm wishing you good luck on winning him back".

Avril studied her father's face and it was just unreadable to her, some of his face darkened while on the other part it was bright. As if, he was in support of her trying to win Carter back and also against her at the same.

She understood he was just worried about her just as the way a father would be when someone tried hurting his pups and she was thankful to him for the way he cared but he should also know she was capable of winning Carter back.

It was only time she needed and the three days he gave her was kind of too urgent, but it was also kind of good too and that was why Avril didn't request of him to give her more days to win Carter back.

Because if she did, it would seem as if she wasn't capable of getting the job done.

"Aye aye, captain" Avril gave her father a crisp salute with her hand by the side of her head, with her standing attention like a soldier and Alpha Mills responded, imitating her posture and nodded his head positively smiling also.

Avril acted funny sometimes, and those were her ways of showing him she was capable of the job which he prayed for her to actually be, and get Carter to change his mind on rejecting her because if Avril's plans don't work out within the three days he gave her.

He was then going to handle the matter by himself.

"I will be off then sweetheart, I'm going to check up on you later" Alpha Mills waved to Avril and opened the door, finding his way out to go settle other important affairs awaiting him as an Alpha.

A soft stressed moan escaped Avril's lips as she rubbed her temple and sat back on her bed. She facepalmed and exhaled deeply with her mind roaming with plenty of thoughts on how she was going to change Carter's mind on rejecting her and winning him back.

"I pray everything works out fine" She got up from her bed moving towards her dresser and fixed her butt on its seat and smiled as she checked herself out in the mirror.

"I'm never ever letting you go Carter, you are mine forever" Avril let out a pretty smile, showing off her perfect set of spruced-up white teeth. "I just have to make myself prettier and irresistible and if my plan works out fine, then you are going to fall head over heels for me one more time" she grinned wickedly, applying foundation on her face.

That wicked grin that was once lost was back, the old Avril was back. She had gone too soft and that was why she cried, Avril never cried but she did, so Carter better brace himself for whatever was coming his way or it was surely going to catch him off guard.

Because Avril was never going to let him go.
