"Call me Liam" his voice rang in Ariel's head as she rolled herself on the bed, her hands clutched her chest as she let out a big smile.
She laid on her back on her bed imagining about Liam after she got back from the woods, even though he tried murdering her, she still crushed on him.
He looked more cuter when he tried murdering her and the name 'liam' suited him perfectly. He was really an angel sent on earth or wait!, Maybe he was her guardian angel.
"I should have asked for his number too" Ariel mumbled to herself, getting off the bed and whirling herself around her room.
Her phone ranged, gaining her attention as she stopped whirling around and went over to the nightstand where she kept it.
Her happy countenance changed all of a sudden, a gloomy appearance replacing it when she saw the name of the caller but she still picked it up anyways.
"Hello"
"Ariel" the deep voice of the caller echoed inside her ear drum, Ariel paused for a while on hearing the voice before speaking up.
"How are you doing Carter?" She asked him over the phone sitting on her bed, he hasn't called her since after the incident with him and Avril but he was calling now.
What did he want and why was he calling her?, Did he call to apologize?, She pondered deeply. If he called to apologize then she would just accept it and move on after all she wasn't his mate.
"I'm okay, how are you?"
Ariel wanted to shout at the top of her lungs at him, she wanted to scold him. He still had the guts to call her after he cheated on her.
He had no fucking right, he was supposed to visit instead of calling. He probably didn't have the guts to face her and that may be the reason he was calling instead.
He was scared of her and knew Ariel too well, she may be the weakest in her pack but she still would have smashed his head to pieces because of her anger issues.
Ariel had a problem with controlling her anger whenever she was mad at something or anyone but not her father.
She feared the man greatly.
"I called to know how you were doing and-"
"I'm okay Carter, so just get to the fucking point" Ariel said to him cutting him short of his words, her voice had a calm tone in it. She didn't need him asking her of how she was doing as if he actually cared about her.
He called her to tell her something else which Ariel prayed for it to be an apology. She only wanted an apology from him, and that was all.
She prayed within her for him to just apologize and hang up the call after she said that to him. Hearing his voice no longer gave her joy rather it irked her the more she heard it.
"My mating ceremony with your sister is happening tomorrow and you don't have to attend Ariel"
Ariel balled her fist in anger, Wait!, What did he just said?, Was that the fucking reason he called her?, What the hell?, was that the apology she wanted to hear from him?.
She only wanted an apology from him so she could happily move on but she got something else. Something that sounded more than irritating to her ears.
Something that didn't even matter to her, why was he telling her that. As if she wanted to attend their mating ceremony, her father was the one forcing her to do so, she was never going to attend on her own freewill.
Ariel released her fist balled in anger, she fought the stupid tears wanting to roll down her petite chubby cheeks.
No!, She was never going to cry anymore even though the tears wanted to roll. If she cried now, then her memories of the good times she had with Carter would come back and hunt her down again.
Never!, Not anymore.
"I'm going to attend"
"What did you say?" Carter asked her over the phone to be 100% sure he heard her correctly, he was stunned by her saying she would attend his mating ceremony with her sister tomorrow.
"I said I'm going to attend" Ariel repeated her words to him, she let out a sigh of relief after saying that to him. She had to attend due to the fact that if she didn't, it would seem like Carter and Avril really did hurt her a lot.
Yes they did, but she was never going to let that cloud her emotions, which may cause her to lose herself completely over their breakup.
They have not broken up officially but there was no need for that, because they were no longer dating nor were they in love either.
Ariel wondered deeply whether Carter really loved her for real when they were dating for him to actually cheat on her with her own sister and to be more precise, her own twin.
Finally they were mates now, bound to each other completely and forever. He was going to feel everything Avril was feeling and the same with Avril too.
Only Ariel knew how much she loved Carter, so how was she ever going to live with that?.
"Okay, that's good"
"I'm going to come over to your pack house today to help out with the preparations against tomorrow" Ariel mentioned, sulking her teeth.
Everything around her sucked!.
"Okay, I will be waiting," Carter said to Ariel and hung up the call. Ariel took the phone off her ear, going straight to her contacts and deleted his number from her phone immediately.
"I will be waiting" She mimicked his words after deleting his contact from her phone, she didn't need it anyways. Never, was she going to call him anymore or answer any calls from him.
"Might as well go help out with the stupid preparations" Ariel murmured to herself, getting her butt of the bed and walking over to her closet to check out for a nice cloth to put on.
She had to dress accurately.
Ariel didn't have to worry about going with a friend, because after all the others had left already, she didn't have any friends except for Eleanor but Eleanor was a tree.
She probably was the only one remaining. She had a pack but a lone wolf was ten times better than her.
She had to leave before her father found out she was still around because he was definitely never going to let her off the hook this time if he found out she was still at home.
