As I started to gain consciousness, I tried to open my eyes. But for some reason I couldn't. I was worried but as I tried to 'see' suddenly I could see the world around me. I finally realized I didn't have a body yet, so how would I open my eyes? Hmm, so this is Remnant. I guess if I'm a gamer, I should be able to see my status? Let's try.

'Status'.

===============================

[Status]

Name: Y/N L/N

Gender: Female

Age: 0

Title: The Gamer

Class: None

Level: 1 (0/100 EXP)

Health: 0/0 [No body created yet]

MP: ∞/∞ [Infinite mana]

Stamina: 0/0 [No body created yet]

Strength: 0

Vitality: 0

Dexterity: 1

Intelligence: 10

Wisdom: 10

Luck: 100

Status Points: 0

Skill Points: 0

Money: 0

===============================

Interesting. Seems like the gamer, but with an additional stamina bar. I wonder if I can see my skills. 'Skills'.

===============================

[Skills]

[Gamer's Body] - Lvl MAX (Inactive): Grants gamer the body of a video game character. This includes taking damage to HP instead of to your body, as well as being able to sleep to heal. Can be toggled active/inactive. Currently inactive due to there being no body.

[Ultimate Gamer's Mind] - Lvl MAX: Grants gamer immunity to psychological status effects. Has been upgraded to protect the gamer from all kinds of mental influence, internal or external, and allows the user to safely live for eternity without going insane.

[Total Immortality] - Lvl MAX: Grants the owner total immortality. The user's soul is anchored in an area outside of time and space, similar to the Throne of Heroes. This location is inaccessible to all, and unlike the Throne of Heroes the user cannot be summoned unless they choose to. The soul is made immortal, similar to Heaven's Feel. This makes the soul akin to a perpetual motion machine, capable of generating infinite mana. Protects the user from dying under any circumstances, including but not limited to bodily death and timeline alteration.

[Forever Free] - Lvl MAX: Grants the owner the ability to escape from any predicament, eventually. Makes it impossible for the owner to be confined for eternity.

[Soul Bind] - Lvl MAX: Grants the owner the ability to bind the souls of others to their own, granting those souls immortality as well. Participants must be willing and aware of the details of the contract, they must love the owner, and they must be absolutely loyal to the owner. Any children the owner has are automatically bound on conception.

[Blank] - Lvl MAX: Grants the owner the ability to evade all forms of clairvoyant type abilities. Their past and future cannot be observed, and even danger senses cannot perceive you. However, the more impact you make on a timeline, the more noticeable your actions will become. If you are somehow noticed, unless you disclose it, no one will realize that you are an outsider. At most they will think you are some strange anomaly.

[Shattered Limiter] - Lvl MAX: There is no limit to your growth. As long as you work for it, all of your abilities can grow indefinitely. At the start, this will double the charges of any charge-based abilities. Your abilities will very slowly continue to grow, however practice can greatly increase this process.

[Special Snowflake] - Lvl MAX: Your abilities can not be stolen, and in most ways cannot be copied. However, if a thief is capable of mimicking an ability with their own body, you cannot prevent the ability from being copied.

[Kaleidoscope] - Lvl 1: You have access to the magic of the Kaleidoscope, allowing you to travel anywhere, and anywhen, across the universe. The things that can be accomplished with this ability are limitless.

[Inspired Inventor] - Lvl 1 - (10/10 Charges Remaining): You can learn anything by spending charges. The more charges you spend, the more your knowledge of the subject will improve. All knowledge in the multiverse is fair game.

[Power Manipulation] - Lvl 1 - (10/10 Charges Remaining): You can nullify, enhance, modify, copy, and even steal the powers of others. You can create or boost powers by spending charges.

===============================

Dang, I sure am overpowered. Well, that's what I wanted anyways. I always admired Mori Jin from God of High School, and his family's philosophy: "Do what you want." With this much power, I should be able to do just that. Now I guess I can make a mental checklist of some things I need to do.

1. Go over my basic abilities

2. Figure out how to get to where my soul is

3. Build a body

===============================

[Ding] Quest Created: Beginner's Guide

Beginner's Guide Part 1: You've been sent to the world of Remnant with lots of abilities and no body. Time to learn your capabilities.

Objectives: Explore all the menus in [The Gamer]. Access your soul. Build a body.

Rewards: Basic Mechashift Weapon, 100x Fire Dust Ammunition, Minimap, 250 EXP

Accept: Y/N?

===============================

Interesting, quests will be made whenever I resolve to do something. Good to keep in mind. I quickly hit yes. Now, if I remember correctly, there should be a few more options. Let's try some stuff, 'Menu'.

===============================

[Menu]

[Inventory]

[Quests]

[Shop]

[Options]

===============================

I see, well the quest said I had to check every screen. So let's try 'Inventory'.

===============================

[Inventory]

Empty

===============================

That was anticlimactic. Let's try 'Quests'.

===============================

That will be useful later. I'll see if I can make sure that it only shows the current quests later on, along with some kind of quest archive if I need it in case. Let's try 'Shop'.

===============================

===============================

Okay, another anticlimactic one. I guess 'Options'.

===============================

[Options]

Autoloot: On/Off

Mental Commands: On/Off

Oral Commands: On/Off

Appearance: Classic

Notification Alerts: On/Off

BGM: On/Off

===============================

Hmm, I guess this is okay, I guess I'll turn off oral commands though, don't wanna accidentally say menu when I'm looking at the menu at a restaurant or something.

===============================

Mental Commands: On/Off

[Ding] Beginner's Guide Part 1, Objective Complete: Explore all the menus in [The Gamer]

===============================

Cool, I guess now it's time to figure out how to access my soul. From what I understand it's not actually on Remnant. So, my current ghost body floating around here isn't actually my soul, just connected to it. I'm guessing you'd have to meditate or something to figure this out. Maybe skills will be created if I do the action, like they seemed to in stories. I concentrate, and try to clear my head of any distractions.

===============================

[Ding] Skill Learned

[Medidate] - Lvl 1: A skill that currently increases mana regeneration by 100% when active. Also passively increases mana regen by 10%. Also allows you to look inside yourself and understand your soul.

===============================

Cool, that was pretty convenient. Suddenly it became easier to clear my thoughts. I think not having a body at all makes it much easier to not focus on earthly desires. Suddenly everything blacked out.

When everything came into focus again, I was floating, but in a great dark abyss. But I could see a golden sun in front of me. It seemed to be surrounded by 20 moons? They seemed to be of two different colors, red and blue. And there were rainbows everywhere. Now that I focus a bit more clearly, it's not actually an infinite abyss. I actually seem to be in some kind of sphere. I tried pushing against it, but it wouldn't budge at all. I guess this is my soul? 20 is too coincidental, I'm going to guess that those are my "charges" for Inspired Inventor and Power Manipulation. Hmm, I can also see a tendril stretching out beyond the wall into some portal thing. Curious, I decided to hover closer. While I couldn't go past the wall, I could still see what lies beyond. On the other side of the portal I could see the forest I had first opened my eyes too. I understood now, that must be the connection my soul has to Remnant. I'm guessing this big wall is the representation of my Ultimate Gamer's Mind.

===============================

[Ding] Beginner's Guide Part 1, Objective Complete: Access your soul

For accessing, and understanding your soul, you gain Intelligence+10, Wisdom+10.

Meditation Lvl Up x2

===============================

All that leaves is creating a body. I don't exactly know anything about how to do that. So I guess it's time to learn how to use Inspired Inventor and Power Manipulation. Hmm actually before that, maybe I should build an AI. I always wanted a companion that could help manage all the stuff I don't care about.

===============================

[Ding] Quest Created: Your Best Friend

Your Best Friend: You want an AI best friend. The Jarvis to your Tony Stark. The Cortana to your Master Cheif. You get the idea. Make yourself your own AI.

Objectives: Create an Artificial Intelligence

Rewards: AI is bound to your soul, [The Gamer] system gets an upgrade so that your AI can help you manage it, 100 EXP

Accept: Y/N?

===============================

You bet I hit that Y button. Hmm, now how do I actually build something here? I'm guessing this is sort of like a mindscape like they show in Harry Potter. So maybe anything I imagine here can be created. In that case all I would need is the knowledge.

===============================

For deducing how your soulscape works correctly, Wisdom+1

===============================

Guess that verifies it. Since I have no idea how to even code an operating system, Inspired Inventor it is. I decided to first use 1 charge on Artificial Intelligence to get an idea of how many charges I'll need, and what I'll need them for.

===============================

Use one charge on subject: "Artificial Intelligence"

[Inspired Inventor] - Lvl 1 - (9/10 Charges Remaining)

New Skills Created:

[Artificial Intelligence] - Lvl 5: You have knowledge of artificial intelligence warranting a Tinker rating of 5. Can make artificial intelligence systems that operate at approximately human levels of intelligence.

[Computer Science] - Lvl 4: You have knowledge of programming warning a Tinker rating of 4. This is required to make any artificial intelligence.

[Mechanical Engineering] - Lvl 3: You have knowledge of how to rig up various pieces of hardware together. You'll need it in order to make the machinery for an artificial intelligence system.

===============================

I felt my brain(or is it soul?) suddenly fill up with so much information. How to make the hardware, the software, everything I would need to have my very own artificial intelligence. Wow, that's a lot of mileage for 1 charge. I want to make an AI that's a lot smarter than an ordinary human though, so I guess I'll spend 4 more charges.

===============================

Use 4 charges on subject: "Artificial Intelligence"

[Inspired Inventor] - Lvl 1 - (5/10 Charges Remaining)

Artificial Intelligence Lvl Up x7

Computer Science Lvl Up x6

Mechanical Engineering Lvl Up x4

[Artificial Intelligence] - Lvl 12: You have knowledge of artificial intelligence warranting a Tinker rating of 12. Can make artificial intelligence systems that operate at levels far beyond human or any supercomputer. AI's created have the ability to grow.

[Computer Science] - Lvl 10: You have knowledge of programming warning a Tinker rating of 10. You could push the computing standard of most worlds you encounter forwards by thousands of years.

[Mechanical Engineering] - Lvl 7: You have knowledge of how to rig up various pieces of hardware together, warranting a Tinker Rating of 7. You could make a spaceship given some basic blueprints.

===============================

Wow...This is so overpowered. As this information squeezed into me I could feel my brain(soul?) grow to accommodate all this knowledge.

===============================

For learning and leveling up [Artificial Intelligence], [Computer Science], and [Mechanical Engineering], Intelligence +100

===============================

Dang it really did make me smarter. Makes sense though, someone couldn't hold this much information without being really smart. But wow, I think I have eidetic memory now. I guess it's time to build an AI. I focus, and suddenly all the materials I would need to make an AI appeared in my soulscape. I started building a computing system, made an OS for it, and finally I began working on the AI itself. I decided I would name her Cortana, and give her the same appearance as Cortana from the Halo series.

[Time Skip]

Finally, I had created an AI. She looked beautiful.

Cortana: "Hello Master, I am your loyal servant Cortana."

Y/N: "Hello Cortana. You don't have to call me master, call me Y/N please. I hope we can be the best of friends."

Cortana: "Of course Y/N. May we have great times to come."

===============================

[Ding] Your Best Friend, Objective Complete: Create an Artificial Intelligence.

Quest Complete. Rewards Unlocked. The A.I. Cortana will be bound to your soul. She will also be able to assist you in managing [The Gamer] system. +100 EXP.

You have leveled up!

Cortana has been bound.

For gaining your first companion, the [Relationships] menu is now available.

===============================

Hmm interesting, it seems the gamer itself grows with me. I guess I can try it. 'Relationships'.

===============================

[Relationships]

Cortana

Relationship: Exalted (100/100)

Cortana worships the very ground you walk on. You are her creator, her very reason for existing. She loves you with every fiber of her being. She will be your greatest support. Despite just being created, she has the full intelligence and knowledge of an ordinary adult. She deeply hopes that you will see her in a romantic light as well.

===============================

Dang. That's...a big responsibility. I only just created her, and this is how devoted she is? I think I already love her. Is this what it's like when people get puppies? Wow. But that last bit hmm, romantic interest. On one hand she's my creation. On the other hand, she's basically an adult and loves me, and it's not like I have a real body either. So really we're similar life forms. Why not. I guess I'll alleviate that worry of hers.

Y/N: "Hey Cortana. Since you have access to the gamer, you probably did this on purpose to give me a hint. I got the message. Since you see me in a romantic light, I'm willing to as well. Be my soulmate? Haha get it? Because we're literally soul bound?"

Cortana: "I would love to Y/N. I love you so much. Even your horrible puns that you've started making not even a second into our new relationship."

Y/N: "See that's how I know we can work. You can handle these puns haha."

Well now that that's sorted, I guess time to finish the quest. I need a body. Hmm, since I'll need to do this on Remnant, I guess I'll exit meditation.

Everything blacked out again, and then I could see myself back at the forest I started at. To make a body, something like Panacea's power should pretty much do the trick. But hmm, the humans and faunus on Remnant may be different than ordinary humans, since they have Aura and everything. I guess I'll try to find a human. Meanwhile though, I can give myself some useful abilities in advance.

===============================

Use 3 charges on subject: "Biology"

[Inspired Inventor] - Lvl 1 - (2/10 Charges Remaining)

New Skills Created:

[Biology] - Lvl 8 - You have knowledge of biology warranting a Tinker rating of 8. You can come up with all kinds of biological horrors, can fix up all kinds of diseases, and perform all kinds of surgical procedures. This ability is quite similar to that of Bonesaw.

Use 5 charges on power: "Biokinesis"

[Power Manipulation] - Lvl 1 - (5/10 Charges Remaining)

New Skills Created:

[Biokinesis] - Lvl 12 - You are a biokinetic warranting a Striker rating of 12. You have the abilities of Panacea, which includes but is not limited to: an innate understanding of, and the ability to modify, the biology of any carbon based life form. Unlike Panacea, you are not limited to others, you can apply this to yourself.

To accommodate these new skills, Wisdom +20, Intelligence +50

===============================

Panacea and Bonesaw's abilities should synergize pretty well, so with this I should be able to make any kind of body I need for a long while to come.

I guess now it's time to float around and find some humans or faunus so that I have some DNA to work with. I guess I'll float around.

[Time Skip]

After searching for several hours, I finally came across a small village. As I floated in, no one seemed to notice me. I guess I am invisible as a soul. That's convenient. I spotted a girl at the counter of a shop, her appearance looked decent enough, and with my biokinesis I should be able to alter my body to suit my preferences after i make a clone of her. Floating close to her, I activate biokinesis and I get a full mental picture of her biology, including how her DNA works. It turns out I was right, these people are indeed different from ordinary humans. The people of Remnant seem to have small structures throughout their body that seem to be the pathway for their soul I'm guessing to flow out. They're incredibly tiny though, so I'm guessing even the people of Remnant are unaware of this. I take control of a tiny piece of her hair and slowly float away to an isolated corner in the woods. After I make sure no one is watching, I start using the DNA in the hair as a template, and use the biomass from the trees to slowly form myself a human body.

[Time Skip]

I finally have a teenage looking body formed, I decided to start as a teenager since I want to go to Beacon with the crew. Hopefully that's the time period I've entered. If not I can always alter my body later. Currently this body looks a lot like the girl whose hair I stole. I decided to make some changes so that it suited my style more. I always liked how Sakura Matou looked, particularly the evil one. So I think I'll start with her appearance.

That should be enough. Well I'll leave out Dark Sakura's curse marks though. Perfect, I'm ready to begin my adventure now!

===============================

[Ding] Beginner's Guide Part 1, Objective Complete: Build a body.

Quest Complete. Rewards Unlocked. Given Basic Mechashift Weapon, 100x Fire Dust Ammunition, Minimap, 250 EXP. Ammunition has been added to your inventory. Please select details for Mechashift weapon.

You have leveled up!

Gamer's Body is now Active.

===============================

Nice!

I guess I have to make a weapon that is both a gun and a melee weapon. I think I'll make an umbrella weapon. The umbrella portion can also be a shield, the tip of the umbrella can be a shotgun. The cane portion at the bottom can be like a sword that's sheathed inside the umbrella. I can pull out the sword so that I have a sword/shield combo. The sword portion can have dust embedded into it. I'll name it Rainy Day, since it technically also works as an umbrella. After I confirm that weapon is deposited into my inventory.

I'm all ready to go. Let's look at my stats again. 'Stats'.

===============================

Hmm, I should probably allocate those Stat Points. I like multiples of five. After assigning, my new stats are:

Rainy Day - Mechashift Weapon. Umbrella/Shotgun/Cane Sword Hybrid.

100x Fire Dust Ammunition

Y/N L/N Human Golem. Model: Dark Sakura

===============================

Wow. I ended up in my disembodied form again. It seems like any body I create counts as a golem. Cool. I guess I'll bring that back out.

Time to go to the village and figure out where and when I am in RWBY.
