[Wicked Slaughterer]

After Albedo had gone after Momonga, Sebas went to inform the other Guardians of Momonga's instructions.

He had called together all Floor Guardians still present, as well as the two special Area Guardians of the 9th Floor.

The Meeting place this time was not on the 6th Floor and neither was it on the 10th floor, but rather in the central Mausoleum on the surface.

Sebas himself went back to guard the 10th Floor after informing the defensive Commander of Nazarick, Demiurge about the circumstances.

Though Sebas didn't like Demiurge much, he had to agree that he was a competent Commander and the best choice to take charge at this moment.

This is how the picture currently unfolding in the Mausoleum came to be.

Demiurge stood in front of all the people gathered together.

Among them were Shalltear, Cocytus, Aura, Mare, Yoru, and Shiro. Each had a serious look on their face, as they all understood that their Lord had gone out to battle, they needed to send reinforcements, even when the strongest Floor Guardian and the one who was best at Guarding, were with him.

None of them wanted to risk anything unexpected happening to their Lord, the last remaining of the Supreme Beings.

"Aura and Mare, you two will go with the Minions I have prepared and reinforce Lord Momonga, Albedo, and Shuten Dōji."

"Don't immediately run into the village once you arrive, first surround it while staying hidden and send one of the eight-edged assassins to meet with Lord Momonga."

"We don't want to ruin any of his plans so follow his orders afterwards."

"Understood Demiurge", the two Dark Elves nodded at the same time, even Mare had an unprecedented seriousness in his gaze.

Demiurge then turned to Cocytus, "Cocytus I want you to station yourself together with Yoru in between the village and Nazarick, giving our Lord a way of retreat if teleportation is blocked is important."

"That is why you two will guard this perimeter, to guarantee its absolute safety."

"None. Shall. Stay. in. The. Way. Of. Our. Lord." Cocytus answered first and Yoru smiled innocently as she answered, "I will do my best, Demiurge."

Demiurge then looked at the rest of the people, meaning Shalltear and Shiro.

"You Shalltear and Shiro, will stay here with me and organize the defense of Nazarick. Lord Momonga suspects that they could use this time when many of the Guardians and Lord Momonga himself are away, they could launch an attack against this place."

"Tsk" two clicks of the tongue sounded at the same time, it seemed like both Shiro and Shalltear weren't happy with the distribution, but both had no way to deny that in this situation, Demiurge was the best option to take control.

So in the end they accepted this arrangement.

Sitting outside the entrance of the Village Carne was a tall figure in a pitch-black full-plate Armor covered in glowing red runes.

"Damn... passive skills are much worse than I thought..."

Remembering what kind of massacre he had delighted in when Slaughtering the Knights, he truly understood why Shalltear had so much trouble remaining sane when she went out.

[Wicked Slaughterer] was a passive skill of the rare race class [Wicked Oni], in the game, it simply enhanced the user's stats and attack in a much more aggressive way.

The problem was that this was now a reality and the skill had also changed a bit because of it, it made him delight in killing and torture.

As long as the smell of blood and intestines reached his nose while he fought, he would become more and more vicious while fighting.

"And I sat in that place for who knows how long..." He hadn't left the range of the circle of the bloody hell he created even once.

Until Lord Ainz ordered him to get out of it, he didn't even once think of leaving it.

'If Lord Ainz hadn't gotten me out of there, I would have never calmed down at all...its really scary how one can lose oneself without realizing it and even delighting in it...'

He realized that he was much too careless, simply thinking he was the strongest and the people in this world were weak anyway.

But it wasn't that important who was weak and who was strong, but to have perfect control over each of your skills.

And his build was very special, with many passive skills, related to physical enhancements.

But he didn't care before about the descriptions, which was very careless of him.

'I just felt so good, that I didn't care about anything at all...'

This would be a good lesson for the future and something he also needed to be careful about in the future.

'Anyway, I have calmed down a lot now, I should go back now...'

'Let's see how scared the villagers will be when I enter again, after what I have done in front of them...'

"I should go and see Lord Ainz." *Gulu* taking another sip from his Guardbottle he put it back in his inventory and slowly rose to his feet.

Turning around, he slowly walked toward the Village.

From where he started walking, he could already see the villagers working to clean up the corpses of their fellow villagers.

Loading their dead bodies on carts to transport them to the Village's graveyard.

"Haaa..." He let out a tired sigh, because the moment someone spotted him entering the village, the people all took a step to the side.

Their faces got a bit paler and the pupils in their eyes trembled.

Dōji could understand where their fear was coming from, after all, he slaughtered trained knights in front of them as if they were bugs. In their position, he wouldn't be any different from them.

"Let's just ignore them..." Doji mumbled to himself while walking in the direction where he felt Albedo and Lord Ainz were.

But something unexpected happened halfway through his way toward his destination.

Two girls came in front of him, he knew both of them but didn't understand why they had come in his way.

The two were of course Enri Emmot and Nemu Emmot, the two sisters who were saved by Ainz and Himself.

"How can I help you two little girls? Aren't you scared of me?" Doji was really curious and simply asked directly.

Enri had a determined look in her eyes while the little Nemu beside her seemed a little scared, but held it together, standing together with her elder sister.

"I am Enri Emmot and this here is my little sister Nemu Emmot." Enri introduced herself first and then her little sister.

Enri took a deep breath under the curious gaze of Dōji, then she bowed her upper body nearly 90° before speaking, "Thank you for saving me and my sister."

Dōji was a bit stunned for a while, even more so when the little girl followed the example of her elder sister.

Looking at these two he felt that what he did wasn't so bad. Unconciously his big tall hands stretched out and patted both girls on their heads gently for a second before laughing aloud, "BWAHAHAH! Little girl, you are very brave."

He took his hands back and then walked away while throwing another sentence behind him, "Hold onto that bravery and become stronger, so you don't need saving next time."

Enri was completely stunned, the giant hand which had squashed and ripped people apart felt quite warm when it patted her head just now. Something she never expected to be possible.

The same was true for the little girl Nemu, although she hadn't seen the bloody scenes caused by Dōji, because she was knocked out cold from his sheer presence, she had seen the attitude the others had towards this person.

So the girl thought it was a violent person, like the one who took her parents away from them, but now after feeling the head pat, there was warmth in it she knew only from her parents, which surprised her.

Dōji walking away mumbled to himself, "Maybe when there is time in the future organise someone to train the girl in commanding and fighting... but there is still a lot of time left for such a thing in the future..."

It wasn't that he really cared for them, rather he found that the girl Enri had much-unused potential which could serve Nazarick in the future very well.

"It will take time before she shows potential if I remember correctly, but I'm not so sure anymore..."

Her experience had already changed, maybe she would show even stronger potential than what was shown before.

He soon saw Albedo standing in front of a house, Lord Ainz was inside talking with an old man, who was probably the village head.

At least was that what his senses told him.

Albedo in full body armor greeted him, "Oh have you calmed down?"

There was a bit of sarcasm in her sweet voice, she was probably delighted from having found out that Dōji had a problem similar to Shalltear.

"Yeah, it's fine now. It will not happen again..." That was something he would make sure, at least if it was not necessary to win, then he would try his best to control this.

"It was quite the delightful sight in my opinion, though Lord Ainz seemed to have wanted more than just two of those Knights remaining alive."

Albedo actually found the sight of bugs being squashed as they should be, quite enjoyable in general, but not if it would hinder her beloved Lord Ainz's plans.

"I at least got a lot of information out of the guy I interrogated." Doji simply shrugged his shoulders.

"True, this will be very helpful for Lord Ainz." Albedo also acknowledged when someone served her master well, and although Ainz had a different idea from what Dōji had done in the end, the information he got was probably worth it.

"Is Lord Ainz inside?" Doji asked although he already knew the answer, but asking Albedo about Ainz would always delight her and was the best way to get along with this crazy Yandere Succubus.

But this time it seemed to be a bad move because he could feel the air turning gloomy immediately after he asked.

"Forget it..." Waving his hands in front of him, Dōji said he didn't want to know and tried frantically to find another topic.

"Can you tell me a little bit about Yoru?" Dōji decided to turn to this question.

Albedo's gloom was replaced by disbelief, "Shouldn't you know your own fiance?"

Dōji was a bit embarrassed as he explained, "Ah you see... Neither Lord Touch-me, nor Lord Ulbert, nor even Lord Ainz gave me any information about her besides that she is my fiance and that she is a Tengu Priestess..."

This was one of the reasons he didn't know what to do with these fiances, he had more information about Kiyomi than about them, so how could he easily marry them without knowing anything?

"Why wouldn't the Supreme Beings give you the relevant information?" Albedo was really surprised now, she clearly saw that what Dōji said wasn't a lie, but why would the Supreme Beings do such a thing?

Dōji shrugged, "I have also more information about Tsukiko, Mana, Kiyohime, and Yuki..." he had more information about the Servants of his fiance's than about the girls themselves.

Dōji paused and thought about it himself for the first time.

'Yeah, why do I have no information at all about them? It seems almost deliberate. Maybe this has a reason? Should I ask Lord Ainz about it?'

'All I know so far is that Shiro likes to use her charms to get what she wants and that she likes watching the moon as much as me.'

'Yoru on the other hand is an innocent beauty, who like Albedo hides a darkness behind that innocent smile. Though Yoru feels different, as if innocence and cruelty existed in her simultaneously...'

"But why do I have not been given any information about them at all?" it was bothering him right now.

"I should probably ask Lord Ainz about this. As far as I know, Lord Ainz put in everything that makes me, me. Lord Ainz is also the one who put in all the information into me..."

Asking Lord Ainz for advice seemed to be the best option.

Albedo nodded, "I would have actually told you, but if the Supreme Beings don't want you to know, especially Lord Ainz, then there should be a deep and meaningful reason behind it. So I can't tell you anything."

Doji understood Ainz better, he knew very well that Ainz may have simply forgotten it, but asking the man himself wouldn't harm him at all.

At this time, one of the villagers came over, he stopped briefly when he saw Dōji's presence, but then still went to the door and knocked.

Doji narrowed his poison green eyes under the mask, his focus shifting to what this guy wanted to do.

The same was true for Albedo.

The two watched as the village head opened the door, "What's the matter?"

"Village Head, the dead bodies of our fallen are ready for the burials, could you?" The man gazed behind him for a moment then back at the Village head.

Dōji and Albedo relaxed their vigilance again, it didn't seem like something important for themselves.

The village head turned and spoke to the person inside beside him, resulting in him leaving with the other Villagers.

It didn't take long for Ainz, who had been negotiating with the village head before, to come out of the house as well.

Seeing Dōji with Albedo he came over and his gaze fixed on Dōji, "Feeling better?"

Dōji nodded, "Much better...Lord Ainz"

Ainz nodded, "I didn't think about it myself, that it would have such a severe effect on you, which could be said to be similar but also different from Shalltear."

Doji touched the back of his helmet and said, "I don't know, it just felt so good staying inside that bloody mess... and treating the Knight like a wet towel..."

He himself was pretty disgusted deep down about what he had done, especially in front of people. Although the denizens of Nazarcik probably wouldn't care about it at all.

Ainz nodded, "You are different from most denizens of Nazarick, you have much more passive skills, to boost your combat abilities in Battle. You need to be able to control yourself better in the future."

Dōji nodded in silence, already understanding that this was probably the most important thing for him now, to learn each skill's explanation, 'Shouldn't I be able to turn them off? I mean if I remember correctly, passive skills, can also be turned off...'

It was something for him to figure out in the future.

"Anyway, let's go and watch the burial of the deceased from a distance..." Ainz then took the two of them to the burial site.

But the three people didn't get close.

Suddenly Dōji picked up a presence in the distance, one of the beings of Nzaarick, and spoke to Ainz, "Lord Ainz, I feel the presence of the reinforcements, should I go and see them?"

Ainz was confused for a moment, but then simply nodded and Dōji walked away to the Outskirts of the village.

He felt something not far from him and asked, "Are you the Reinforcements?"

"Yes Lord Shuten Dōji, could you please lead me to Lord Momonga? I was sent to ask for instructions by Lady Aura and Lord Mare." a voice coming from thin air spoke to him.

'An eight-edged assassin, I see...'

"It is Good." He turned around and guided the visitor to the place where Lord Ainz was waiting.

When arriving, Albedo and Ainz also noticed the other presence besides Dōji, who explained what was going on.

"He was sent by Aura and Mare to ask for further instructions." He held it short and was followed by the eight-edged assassin revealing himself.

Suddenly among Ainz, Albedo, and Dōji stood a spider in a ninja costume with each of its eight legs being weapons.

To the surprise of Ainz and Dōji, none of the people seem to notice it.

'Can they stay invisible to others while revealing themselves to some? Pretty handy ability...' Doji thought as the eight-edged assassin bowed to Ainz.

"Lord Momo..." The eight-edged assassin was interrupted by Ainz before he could finish.

"Call me Ainz."

"Lord Ainz, we have surrounded the village and are ready to raid the village upon your order." The eight-edged assassin gave his report.

Meanwhile Ainz seemed confused, the same was true for Dōji, 'Didn't Lord Ainz just safe the villagers? Why would he want to Raid the Village now?'

"No, as you can see thing have already ended here. Anyway who is leading you?" Ainz didn't linger on it but went to the next topic.

"Lady Aura and Lord Mare."

"How many Minions are under you?"

"400 in total, Lord Cocytus is Guarding the vicinity with Lady Yoru, while Lord Demiurge, Lady Shalltear and Lady Shiro hold the castle."

Ainz nodded and then continued to ask questions before giving orders.

"How many of your own are among them?"

"15, Lord Ainz."

"Umu. Send all the Minions besides you eight-edged assassins back, they are not needed here and it isn't good when to many of them are outside. You eight-edged assassins together with Aura and Mare are enough."

"As you wish, Lord Ainz."

The eight-edged Assassin bowed deeply and then left the village to report back to Aura and Mare.

.

.

.

Not far from the Village, Aura and Mare were here waiting for the return of the eight-edged assassin, they had assembled quite the strong army.

With most of the Minions assembled being above Lv.70 and reaching a terrifying amount of 400.

To support their Supreme Lord, Demiurge really went all out.

At this time Aura picked up on the return of the Assassin, "It's back."

Not long after, the Eight-edged assassin appeared in front of the two, "Lady Aura, Lord Mare..."

He couldn't finish his words, as Aura's impatient voice interupted, "No time for flattery, tell us what the orders of Lord Momonga are!"

She didn't want to waste time, so she scolded fiercely.

"The Lord said that the situation has already passed and that the Minions should head back, besides us eight-edged assassins, Lady Aura and Lord Mare, everyone else is to return to Nazarick."

The tense atmosphere around Aura and Mare, which had been present since they heard that their Lord went out again, finally vanished.

Aura then nodded at the eight-edged assassin and gave orders, "Send your people around to the different units and tell them to fall back to Nazarick. You Eight-edged assassins will take their place and surround the Village, so that if Lord Momonga has more orders we have a grasp of the situation around the Village."

The eight-edged assassin bowed and left to inform the other eight-edged assassins about their new orders.
