Using a Super Tier Spell

A colossal impact echoed, akin to the descent of a nuclear bomb, as Lucian's lance struck the head of the First Avatar of Odin. The entire crimson-drenched battlefield was instantly engulfed in an unending sea of flames. The already blood-soaked terrain was now ablaze in crimson fire, devouring weapons and threatening to consume the entire world.

The two ravens that had been attacking Lucian were swiftly obliterated, and notifications began to flood in, indicating Lucian's experience points were increasing.

Lucian eyed the fallen First Avatar of Odin, his frustration evident.

"This guy's got a ridiculously high defense," he grumbled, glancing at this monstrous Odin's depleted HP bar..

Anyone else would have been defeated, especially normal raid bosses. This attack, a power that Lucian had kept in reserve for an entire day, surpassed even super-tier spells. Yet, it had barely made a dent in Odin's HP, not even reaching 50%.

"Looks like I'll have to get serious," Lucian muttered as he watched Odin rise, the god-like boss monster muttering its customary phrase before launching an attack with its mighty spear, declaring,

"[Behold the might of a god, as I strike you down!]"

Lucian easily dodged Odin's attack, his mind racing as he thought of the quickest way to defeat this boss.

"Fine, I'll use a super-tier magic for you!" Lucian muttered under his breath. As he deftly dodged the spear hurled at him by Odin, the weapon gave chase. Lucian wielded his lance skillfully, parrying the spear just as it returned to Odin's hand. However, Odin was relentless, summoning multiple magic circles on the ground, from which Multiple giant Wolves started materialising, ready to attack.

"Tch, this jackass is summoning more monsters. Why couldn't I have found him when I needed to level up?" Lucian muttered in frustration.

Lucian watched as multiple white and black wolves materialized from the ground and lunged at him. He dodged each one of them swiftly, dispatching them with his lance.

Despite his supposed bad reflexes, Lucian was effortlessly dealing with these high-level monsters. Some of the wolves even attempted to use magic on him, but his Magical Defense stat was so high that their spells had no effect whatsoever.

Unlike his first time, when he needed the help of the [Halo of the Forgotten God] to defeat the raid boss, Lucian had since taken pride in handling bosses by himself. He often employed various tactics instead of simply pummeling everything thrown at him, as he was doing now.

He had underestimated his own abilities. It wasn't just a cheat; it was game-breaking. The [Greatest Einherjar] class was the pinnacle of cheats, and Lucian could only imagine what it would be like to acquire another class like [World Champion], which is rumored to have broken skills.

"Hahah, I'm getting excited. Come all at once, I'll deal with the mobs first. [Chaos Beckon]!" Lucian muttered to himself as he dove onto the ground, turning off his [Flame Aura] and using one of his skills to attract all the summoned wolves of Odin at once.

This skill was one of the most dangerous and at the same time, most useful skills. If Lucian used this skill outside of the boss room, he would become akin to a monster magnet. He had once accidentally activated this skill, causing monsters from the entire world to attack him. Fortunately, Lucian had another skill, [Order Reprieve], that could cancel the effect of [Chaos Beckon]. He used it to save himself. Otherwise, he would have died.Yggdrasil actually had a hate system that players could observe when battling monsters. What [Chaos Beckon] did was override that hate value, raising it to a level where every monster deemed Lucian as intolerable and an enemy. It was similar to how [Order Reprieve] reversed the normal hate value to negative, ensuring monsters wouldn't even approach Lucian, as their hate value dropped below zero. Fortunately, even if he died, he could just level up and bounce back, as Yggdrasil only deducted 5 levels after a player's death.

The entire group of black and white wolves started attacking Lucian as he activated one of his skills.

His already red hair started turning even more vibrant as he unleashed the power of another skill.

"[Blaze Burst]!" A surging wave of flames swept through the battlefield in a circular motion, akin to a solar flare. It immediately incinerated all the mobs and even inflicted some damage on the First Avatar of Odin.

Lucian immediately leaped into the sky, his wings concealing themselves as he hovered above the battlefield. From this elevated position, he gazed down at Odin, who once again hurled his spear towards him.

"[Judgment of Gungnir]!" Odin bellowed as he launched his signature javelin-like attack. However, this time, the spear was infused with an intense golden glow. Instead of hurling it directly at Lucian, Odin sent it soaring into the sky.

Lucian recognized that attack, the spear descending from the sky. However, this time, Lucian didn't dodge or attempt to parry it; he decided to take the attack.

An intense light descended upon Lucian's body as Gungnir, the spear of Odin, struck him.

The spear hit right at Lucian's heart, even though Odin hadn't aimed it directly at him. Surprisingly, the spear was unable to pierce through Lucian's armor and hit his body. It stopped after scraping off a significant portion of Lucian's armor data.

[-40]

However, the damage it inflicted on Lucian was substantial, depleting 40 points of his HP, which surprised him somewhat. Nevertheless, it was understandable, given that Lucian's Physical Defense stat decreased when he was in his [Eldurhidlr] Valkyrae form.

"It's time to finish this boss fight. I'm not waiting for you to reach your final form just so I can defeat you with satisfaction. Today, I'm in a hurry, so you're going down early," Lucian declared as he observed the spear flying back to Odin.

Lucian remained suspended in the sky, accessing his console.

A menu of spells, 480 hotkeys, each carefully placed for easy access, these weren't all of his spells. He had a vast repertoire, but the game limited him to 480 for battle. However, he could always change them and assign new hotkeys as needed.

Lucian's natural inclination had always been towards being a mage. His physical strength took a backseat to his magical prowess, which made him a truly fearsome opponent.

The Greatest Einherjar class was already considered a cheat in the game by lucian, but when combined with a player like Lucian, who was willing to spend millions of yen to unlock its full potential, it became an even more formidable force.

"It's time to die," Lucian muttered, tossing his lance into the air where it hovered behind him, ready for action. When he first encountered Odin, he had assumed the god would be primarily magic-based with low defenses, similar to Freya, the fallen Valkyrie of Alfheim, whom he had defeated through physical attacks. However, Odin proved to be a different challenge altogether, not lacking physical strength but also possessing devastating magic attacks that could one-shot even the highest-level players, regardless of their tankiness.

"[Sigrdr]," Lucian muttered, and his transformation continued. His fiery red hair shifted to a stunning amethyst shade, and his once crimson eyes transformed into a mesmerizing purple, emitting a gentle, secretive glow. His console, which previously displayed only 480 hotkeys, expanded to cover half of his field of vision, revealing a total of 960 spells, all at his fingertips and ready for use at a moment's notice.

"[Arcanes Muse]," Lucian spoke the name of his ability, a ability that could be considered one of the most potent cheats for any mage in the game, capable of breaking the very fundamentals of the game. As he chanted this abilities name, his entire aura finally underwent transformation. His hair now displayed a complete amethyst hue, and his MP, Magical Attack, and Magical Defense stats skyrocketed beyond their limits. To the extent that only a World Enemy would be able to stand before him.

"Let's test out this new spell," Lucian mumbled to himself as he watched Odin once again hurl his spear at him while shouting the skill name, "[Judgment of Gungnir]."

However, the spear didn't reach him as the pristine white Star Lance, suspended in the air, immediately shot forward and unfurled as before, becoming a shield and intercepting the attack of Gungnir without budging.

Lucian used his finger to navigate through the hotkeys, eventually tapping on a special hotkey located in the 10th tier spells section.

"[Chains of Hephaestus]," Lucian muttered as he aimed the spell at Odin, who had just caught his spear as it flew back to him.

The sky immediately turned dark as purple chains, seemingly made of divine energy, descended from the four huge magic circles that suddenly appeared surrounding Odin.

Both of Odin's hands and both of his legs were pulled as a massive rock descended from the sky, appearing to have been bound to the chains.

The boss First Avatar of Odin attempted to move, but he wasn't able to, as if the chains refused to break.

Usually, an immobilizing 10th-tier spell wouldn't be sufficient to trap a boss monster like Odin. However, when the opponent was a player with magic stats through the roof, it became quite pointless. Not to mention, Lucian possessed an ability called [Cancel Mobilization] that could nullify these restrictions and enable the direct trapping of a boss.

"Hehehehehe... Now, let me show you my favourite super tier spell," Lucian said in a low voice as his purple hair began to float. He then tapped on the hotkey for that super tier spell.

"[Cease The Hunger of Hastur]," Lucian muttered as a large magic circle appeared, surrounding him at its epicenter.

A gigantic, blue, dome-shaped magic circle appeared with eleven layers of spherical, white crystalline magic circles inside it. Translucent letters and runes flickered within them. Lucian focused on the boss, Odin, and aimed the spell.

"I would have supercharged the spell if I were in my normal form. However, with [Arcanes Muse] and [Sigrdr] active, the only ones who can give me trouble are world enemies," Lucian muttered to himself. brought out an hourglass looking object from his inventory and broke it.

The entire dome-like magic circle with 11 layers expanded immediately as the super-tier spell took effect.

The spell expanded and vanished into the air as the entire ground started shaking. Odin, who was trapped by the earlier spell, was not able to do anything as the ground burst apart, tearing as if something was going to come out.

However, nothing happened for a second. The world was silent as if the effect of the magic had failed. If any other players were here, they would've thought the same. After all, this spell used by Lucian was probably one that could only be acquired by a very specific race of people. Which, Lucian was able to acquire it through cash shop items.

The silence of the world, however, broke with a horrifying howling followed by a nightmarish, realistic crunching sound. An interstellar monster suddenly materialized out of nowhere near Odin's head and took a huge bite out of it before vanishing immediately after, as if it had merged with the space, its horrifying figure disappearing..

[-66]

That, however, didn't end there. Multiple heads, similar to the first, continued materializing, taking bites out of the First Avatar of Odin, consuming chunks of its data and rapidly depleting its HP. Each time this monstrous Interstellar god appeared, it was accompanied by a horrifying scream that would send chills down anyone's spine, but not Lucian's, as he cherished that noise, that scream, that nightmarish howl that made him feel more alive!

Lucian watched as Odin's HP bar plummeted to 0 in mere seconds.

[First Avatar of odin]

HP - 000/700

Type: Raid boss

The Raid boss began to vanish as its HP bar reached 0.

The First Avatar of Odin disintegrated into particles of blue light, disappearing completely. Its last words echoed in Lucian's head before fading away.

Following that, Lucian was bombarded with a multitude of notifications, and his entire interface was now flooded with achievements and rewards.
