61 Chapter 61

When Raizel activated his Ring, the area nearby the two started glitching all of a sudden. It's as if the server started breaking down or something.

At the same time, while this is happening, something that looked like a thin white curtain appeared and then started spreading around the same area where the glitching is happening.

"Tch!" Obviously, Bob noticed this. There's no way he can't. He's literally being surrounded by it.

That's why he immediately increased his flying speed to the maximum in order to get out of the current area he was in as fast as he could. He didn't know what was about to happen but whatever it may be, he better not get caught in it.

But...

"Wha-!"

Bob didn't expect that the spreading of the White Curtain would dramatically increase in almost an instant. It literally happened so fast that before Bob could even react, he was already swallowed within it.

And then, as that happened, that same White curtain, morphed. Closing off on all sides, leaving no more space to escape. And then, after a couple of seconds, from looking like it was made of some liquid or soft substance, it slowly hardened and then later formed a Large, White, solid-looking Dome.

And the two of them, Raizel and Bob, are obviously trapped inside it.

Now as empty as the White Dome may seem from the outside, inside, it really isn't. Cause as Bob looked around the area he suddenly found himself as he gets swallowed by that white curtain, he was a bit baffled to see that he was somehow in the middle of a dense-looking forest now.

"... This will be annoying if I don't destroy this whole thing as soon as possible," Bob said as he cautiously looked around.

Well, in the first place, Bob has a fairly large build cause not only his Class makes him so, but he's also a World Enemy. A fact that automatically makes him large. On the other hand, Raizel who looks nothing but your ordinary human knight, if he has his helmet on that is, is on the smaller side.

So, even though being large is a very good thing when it comes to battles, in this kind of environment where there are lots of things to hide from... him being large just brings nothing but numerous disadvantages.

That's why Bob immediately surmised that if he were to fight Raizel, he should probably destroy the forest around him first in order to get a better footing, or... just outright destroy this entire space itself. Cause in the first place, this space is nothing but artificial. He's aware of that, not once he thought that he was transported to another area or something like that.

The white dome across the skyless sky could not make that fact more apparent as well.

Obviously, Bob chose the latter option. That he will just destroy this whole thing all in one go and just deal with Raizel after that.

That's why after making and then finalizing his decision, with no hesitation at all, he immediately burst out of his position and then rocketed towards his nearest target. Leaving a cloud of red smoke on his trail.

It didn't take him that long before he finally reached the walls of the dome. So, as he stood in front of it, he immediately gripped his huge sword with both of his hands and, swung on the walls with such great force.

*Swoosh~!*

"... Huh?"

But after doing such a thing, a confused expression quickly appeared on his face cause his sword, which was supposed to hit a solid structure, at least that's what the Dome looks like, suddenly phased through it as if he swung at nothing but air.

Which for him, doesn't make any sense at all. Cause supposedly, even if the wall of this dome is immune to any kind of Physical Attacks, it would still be rendered useless in front of him cause his World Enemy status would have just bypassed that.

Now given those facts, it's pretty understandable why Bob right now, wears such a ridiculous expression.

But as much as he wanted to know the reason for it, he was aware of his current situation. That he has no time to do such a thing. That's why he immediately decided to leave this matter aside for now and then quickly activated his skills. Skills that he deemed destructive enough to destroy any walls in existence.

[ Baneful blast ]!

[ Hell's flame ]!

[ Thunderous Backlash ]!

Unfortunately though, those skills, as he cast it towards the wall, suffered the same fate as his sword did. All of it just went through the wall and met no resistance at all.

"... You gotta be kidding me."

So again, extremely baffled and looking pretty out of options, Bob decided to finally give in on his desires and just, outright touch it, to see personally what the 'walls' of this dome truly are.

But instead of answers, what he found after doing that is...

[ Warning! This area is out of bounds! Cannot proceed any further. ]

... more things that made him confused more than he already is.

"Leaving your back open?"

But it seems that, upon doing all these shenanigans, Bob accidentally left his guard down. Well he didn't really leave it THAT down, but he left it down enough that someone can surely slip past through it.

"... how generous of you."

A fact that was clearly, not missed by someone here cause, as Bob was busy getting confused, a voice suddenly rang extremely close behind him. A voice that quickly pulled him back to reality.

*tsshk!!*

[ You received damage! ]

But before he could even react to that voice, a spear suddenly came out of his chest. Which was followed by the notification, confirming that he just got attacked.

"Is that it?" Fortunately for Bob, his stats right now are so ridiculously high that even attacks from Raizel, which would normally one-shot anyone, were treated as nothing but a scratch.

That's why he only scoffed at the fact that Raizel managed to sneak one on him and then quickly, with not much care at all, grabbed tightly the end of the protruding spear in his chest, not allowing it to be pulled out.

Simultaneously, with his other arm, he did a 180, attacking Raizel who was still behind him.

*Swoosh~*

Which Raizel obviously dodged with ease by simply letting his spear go and jumping back a couple of times.

"I'm disappointed. It seems that you don't care much about your items as I thought you would." Bob spoke in a mocking tone as he pulled the spear out of his chest, then flailed it around, clearly taunting Raizel with it.

"This looks pretty expensive at that. Are you not going to take it? I might keep it if you don't."

By now, almost everyone already knows that Raizel is rich... Like, mega-rich. There's no way they won't cause if given a chance to do so, Raizel will always slap that fact in everyone's face. A bad habit that everyone tends to avoid so much whenever someone is talking to him, avoiding all the traps and dangerous conversation routes that will lead to him flexing about how rich he is.

Sadly for Raizel, everyone is so good at doing this somehow. So good that It's been a couple of years now since he last flexed cause no one is stepping on the landmines he set up.

But today, it finally happened.

"D- did you just say the thing?" That's why after hearing Bob's cute threats, Raizel gasped in surprise. Not believing that Bob said what he just said.

"T- this is finally happening again. Wow." Raizel gasped one more time as he realized that Bob was indeed serious and that his ears were not playing with him.

Immediately after this, not letting this chance go, Raizel hurriedly opened his inventory and took out a couple of spears, spears that obviously looked more expensive than the one that Bob currently held.

"Here..." And before Bob could even find out what he was planning to do, Raizel threw all of those spears in front of him. Making it all clatter around in the ground.

"... a donation. You poor b*tch." After doing this, a wave of nostalgia hits Raizel as a satisfied smile appears on his face. After all these years he finally managed to do it again.

But Bob surprisingly didn't react much. He just stood there looking at Raizel with a serious gaze. Clearly ignoring his shenanigans and the bunch of expensive spears below him.

"F*cker." He didn't seem to like the fact that Raizel is treating him a bit too lightly given the situation they currently have in hand. "Did you seriously believe that you'll win against me?"

Well, he obviously knows how confident Raizel is when it comes to his fights but he didn't know that it could reach a level that it's in right now. A level that is almost reaching the realm of stupidity. Something that he didn't expect from the Player who used to be the strongest.

"Well, I mean, I admit that it will be a pretty hard fight, but..." Raizel said in a pretty nonchalant tone, all while pulling another spear from his inventory.

"I will win. Period."

Hearing this, Bob just scoffed at him.

"... You seem to be forgetting the fact that I am not trapped here with you. But you, WITH ME." After saying that with a threatening tone, Bob threw the spear he was holding and then brought forth his greatsword.

"Heh. I wonder how long you practiced that in front of the mirror." Raizel replied as he too, brandished his spear and then took a stance with his newly brought out spear.

"F*ck you!" Now with these last words, Bob finally made the first move, rocketing himself toward Raizel.

And Raizel on the other hand, obviously didn't back down as he met Bob's attack with his own one.

Making the two clash mid-way.

*Boom!*

So with that happening, as abrupt as it is, the battle between the strongest, finally started.
