60 Chapter 60

"No gonna lie, this is quite problematic." Raizel muttered to himself as he squinted his eyes thoughtfully, staring down at the countless Players below him as they all tried their best to cast their own spells.

Now if someone hears Raizel saying these kinds of stuff with the current tone he's having, they will be very confused for sure. That's because Raizel started this whole situation with such a carefree attitude, making everyone think that he was confident enough to handle everyone here with ease.

An attitude that is very contradicting to the one he's showing right now.

Well, that's because, in reality, he wasn't carefree at all. In fact, throughout this whole time, he's very serious, probably the most serious he's ever been. This was clearly shown when, upon his declaration for the battle to start, he wasted no time as he made the first move and quickly cast the [ Blood Moon ]. The exact skill that made the sky turn dark red all of a sudden.

Now the reason why he made this move as fast as he could, is due to the fact that he was aware that if these countless Players unleashed their spells on him all at once, he'd be in such great danger. There are just too many of them that there's no room or way for him to dodge if that were to happen.

That's right. Raizel is clearly aware that this is too much even for him. That all these Players would surely wipe the floor with his entire existence if he decided to face them head-on. Even though he already unsealed his entire stats, it still doesn't make any difference.

Well, good thing that's not what he planned to do.

Cause originally, Raizel planned to drag this thing out down to the very end. That going out here and exposing himself, just like what he's doing right now, is not what he originally planned at all.

But since a certain annoying existence decided to join the play and ruin everything for him, Raizel had to change plans immediately cause it's pretty evident that sticking to the original plan, wouldn't work now.

That's exactly why he's in the situation he's currently in. Cause what he's about to do now is also part of his new 'plan'. Whatever that may be.

But, even though he already made some pretty solid plan, at least that's what Raizel likes to believe, it doesn't change the fact that he's feeling not so solid about this. Cause all he's doing right now, and what he's about to do, is pretty dangerous. One wrong move on his part, can spell the end of him. That's how tight this whole situation is.

So, given the seriousness of this whole ordeal, upon casting [ Blood Moon ] and making one quick survey of the entire battlefield, he immediately made his move.

Cause as apparent as it is, he doesn't have much time to do whatever he's trying to do.

Literally eight seconds from now, the skill [ Blood Moon ], the reason why everyone here other than Raizel cannot cast any of their spells, will be over. If that moment comes and he hasn't done whatever he's planning to do, he's pretty much f*cked.

Well, Duration isn't really the strongest trait of the [ Blood Moon ] skill in the first place. Raizel used it because it has the largest range among his arsenals of Silencing Skills. Given that, there's no way he can affect all the Players below him with the other ones, even though they have long duration or whatnot.

Also, apart from that duration problem, he also has to worry about the existence of non-spell-based Players. Meaning, those non-spell caster Players that don't rely on spells, but skills. Given that spell is only what [ Blood Moon ] restricted.

In short, Fighter-type Players are still a problem.

That's the reason why Raizel, while zooming across the battlefield, towards his 'destination', is still being bothered by countless Players attacking him with their spears, bows, swords, and many more from all kinds of angles.

Good thing that when it comes to mechanics, he's one of the best, that's why dodging all these rain of attacks, even in situations where many deemed that attacks are already undodgeable, was still dodged by him, or at least, he came out of it with as little harm as possible.

"HAAAH!!!!"

"DIE!"

"EAT THIS YOU F*CK!"

Player after Player poured everything they had just to blast Raizel down.

Those who could fly attacked him in the sky and those who could not decide to just attack from the ground with their bows or any similar means, or just outright wait there. Wait till the Spell-casters can finally use their spells to pull Raizel down towards the ground.

The exact fact that Raizel is most wary of.

Which is a situation, that is about to come up now.

"Sh*t!" Raizel cursed out loud as all of a sudden, he felt his speed fluctuate.

It didn't take him that long to realize why. It's because the [ Blood Moon ] is already disappearing and the Spell-Casters can finally start using their spells again.

"Tch!"

He's doing his best to resist it though, but given the rising number of spells that are trying to pull him down as seconds go by, as abnormally high as his resist stats are, being overwhelmed by them is inevitable.

He will be caught at this point. He's aware of it.

That's why Raizel had to act fast. He needs to use his unique skill [ Essense of the God ]. A skill that makes him immune to any crowd control effects.

He doesn't really want to use this skill so early cause not only does he need it for later uses but he also cannot reverse its cooldown even with skills such as [ Crying Hourglass ] due to multiple complicated reasons, he simply has no choice. It's basically now or never.

"[ Skill: Essence of the-"

But as he was about to cast it, he was, unfortunately, interrupted...

[ You received catastrophic Damage! ]

Cause all of a sudden, a massive sword pierced his body.

"I watched you for too long now..."

It literally came out of nowhere and happened so fast.

"... that's why I know what you're trying to do."

He was also too busy trying to cast his skill all while minding the other Players wearing him down.

"What made you think..."

That's why Raizel only noticed this Hulking Figure in front of him, plunging his sword down on his body, all too late.

"... I'll let you do it in front of my eyes huh?"

Now to make the long explanation short, the World Enemy amongst these attacking Players, finally made a move and managed to catch Raizel off guard.

"HE GOT HIM!"

"YES!"

"GOOD JOB!"

"F*CK HIM UP!"

Making the Players below scream out loud as they all cheered. Thinking that they finally succeed in what they are trying to do.

But something is off.

That is what Bob, the Player turned World Enemy, thought to himself.

Cause even though real-time facial expressions are not visible amongst Players, for some reason, while looking at Raizel's(Avatar) face, he can see him smiling.

Which, at first glance, is pretty weird since...

Who would have such a reaction in a situation like this where he is clearly in a dangerous spot? Also, why is he not dying yet? My damage-related stats right now are literally on three digits already. How is that not enough to kill him?

At least, this is the kind of thought that was lingering around Bob's mind right now. All this anxiety-inducing thought was just reinforced even more when he finally heard Raizel's voice.

"Thank goodness you came here yourself."

Cause at that moment, is when it finally kicked in. Bob finally realizes that Raizel, throughout this whole time, is not actually trying to run away.

He was trying to go towards him.

Now as to why he would do that, well, it doesn't really matter what it is. It's Raizel. A player that could do all sorts of f*ckery if the situation requires him to do so, no matter how impossible it may seem.

He couldn't be none the wiser to think that it was something foolish. Not with that massive grin on his face.

That's why without much thought about it, without even knowing the exact reason why, Bob immediately tried to pull the sword back.

But it seems that he doesn't have to wait for that long to know the reason for Raizel's weird expression right now. Cause as he was pulling back, a certain ring on Raizel's finger caught his attention.

Obviously, he knows what that ring is. It's a piece of information available on the YGGDRASIL Wiki. There, it was stated that this exact ring is called [ Ring of the World Maker ].

But this ring is also known by the community in another name...

Raizel's one and only, World Champion Item.

It's the exact ring he got when he won the World Tournament back then.

As for its abilities though, it wasn't shown, cause it seems that no one has seen it yet.

But being a World Champion himself, Bob is aware of how powerful World Champion Items can be, given that he has one for himself. But since he's a World Enemy now, a being that even World Items are deemed useless against, he wasn't bothered by a mere World Champion Item.

Or at least, that's how it is supposed to be. Cause even with that fact, he still chose to run away.

He immediately pulled out the sword and started putting distance between himself and Raizel as fast as he could.

But, no matter how fast he reacted, the grin on Raizel's face, did not disappear as he just raised his hand. The same hand where that said ring is. And before Bob could even do what he was planning to do.

"... 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗺"

He was already... caught in it.
