59 Chapter 59

AN: Fck Baldur's gate. Making me waste 2 weeks doing nothing but playing it.

The great city of Frostfarrow is one of the eight beginner's cities in the realm of Niflheim... it is also the only remaining one of those eight cause the other seven were still being repaired due to it being destroyed just a few hours ago by the army of Players hunting Raizel down.

To make the long explanation short, for the Hunters, Frostfarrow is the only remaining city that needs to be destroyed in order to finally get to where Raizel is.

Now with that given context, it will be not so surprising anymore if one were to see that the entire city, has now been surrounded by thousands of Players in every possible angle. Literally, be it on land or on the skies, there will be multiple groups of Players there on standby.

This very scene is so comical at this point.

But as exaggerated as it may look, this just shows how much length the Hunters have to go to in order to even get to where Raizel is. They are that frustrated and Raizel is just that good at frustrating them.

Though, as impressive and awesome as this scene might be from an outsider's perspective, for the Hunters, this is really nothing... since the past raids that have been happening almost every day these past weeks have already been filled with scenes like this.

And all those scenes, unfortunately for them, always ended up in nothing but utter failure.

But now, all these Hunters, greatly believed that today's Raid will be different. And surely, one might ask why that is the case. Well, that's simply because of a certain Player, or a certain existence, that towers amongst those waves of Players that currently stand outside the gates of Frostfarrow.

And that Towering existence is the exact Player that currently holds all Hunter's Hope, and is believed to be the actual Key for the success of this raid, not only that but according to the leaderboard, he is the current and newest strongest Player throughout the entire YGGDRASIL as well.

This Player, being the past World Champion of Muspelheim is not a new face anymore for the Players here.

He is no other than... Bob.

Well, anyone could probably guess that naming isn't the strongest suit of this Player, but it doesn't really matter though since no one is calling him by that name anyway. That's because he is known for another thing and that's how other Players like to address him.

The World Enemy.

Cause Bob here, turned himself into an actual World Enemy just a couple of hours ago. In regards to how that happened, well, it's basically the combination of his World Champion Class and a certain World Item he got.

Mix those two together and he managed to create the World Enemy Class that he currently holds.

As to why he did it, well, for various reasons obviously. But mainly, it's probably to destroy the biggest threat in his existence, the dethroned and is now the second strongest Player, Raizel.

Well, the option of turning himself into a World Enemy is actually within Bob's hands already since last year. Though he held himself back from doing that due to one reason... Cause it's pretty obvious that the moment he does that, his ass will be hunted down by not only the entire player base but also the worst among them, Raizel himself.

So, he played it safe for quite a while and waited for the right time... and that right time finally came today. The last day of the Hunting quest and where the Hunt for Raizel, peaks.

If 'that' is not today, then nothing will be 'that' day anymore he says. That's why with no hesitation, he finally used the thing and turned himself into a full-blown World Enemy. Of course, he did that after making a deal with the Hunters.

A deal that both parties happily agreed to do.

Bob will transform into a World Enemy and help them with their Hunting quest for Raizel. In return, the Hunters will let him kill some of them until he is finally strong enough to be the actual strongest. In short, Bob wants them to feed him.

They totally abused the death penalty restriction on this one cause Bob killed Player after Player to his heart's content, and the Players that agreed to be farmed did not bat an eye at all cause they are losing almost nothing from this... other than a couple of exp that is.

Exps that they will just get back anyway after killing a couple of Mobs.

In any case, all of that, explains the reason why Bob, managed to climb the leaderboards so freaking fast, and how the Hunters managed to siege the cities so quickly that Frostfarrow is all that remains when it's not even that long before they started their attacks.

Obviously, all of them, even Bob himself, are aware that after all these shenanigans, another hunt will arise. And the identity of this new target is pretty apparent.

But Bob, couldn't care less about that. All he cares about is killing Raizel today. Other than that, nothing else matters. Besides, even if that day truly comes, contrary to everyone's opinion, the Players at that time will have an extremely hard time coming after him since he is already so strong and will be even stronger if today's raid is successful.

At least that's what he believed.

Well, thanks to all of them feeding him, his unique World Enemy traits and skills that he would originally have a hard time evolving and receiving, managed evolved, and got received. On top of all that, his current level and stats are already way past common sense.

Combining that and all the other side perks, no one can really blame Bob for having such a delusion. Right now, he truly is a God amongst Players. Even the Devs themselves, looking at him currently on screens, can fully admit that as of now, he is much stronger than some World Enemies they personally created out there.

The only reason why Players cannot realize this fact about Bob is because they just don't know how to comprehend his current stats. It's that ridiculous. So much so that no one wanted to believe it and treated it as nothing but an exaggeration.

But one player, throughout this whole battle, knows fully well that Bob is not an exaggeration at all.

It's Raizel himself.

The exact man that every hunter here thought would be surprised the moment their 'Key' enters the battle.

Well, turns out he's not surprised at all. And that he is already aware of Bob since the very beginning.

Cause inside the walls of Frostfarrow, in the throne room of the towering Castle in the middle of the city, there Raizel sits.

And contrary to him looking oh so relaxed, all this time, he is actually surveying the whole Battlefield with his [All seeing Eyes]. And right now, given the ridiculous distance between the two of them, he is literally staring straight in front of Bob's face.

And almost no one is aware of this. Other than Bob that is, who is currently making a throat-slicing gesture all while sending a skull emoji, knowing full well that Raizel is looking at him, sending a pretty clear message.

"You're dead soon."

"Pfft- HAHAHAHA!" Raizel after seeing this, burst out of laughter. Clearly amused by what Bob did.

He continued to laugh for couple more seconds before stopping with a heavy sigh.

"... what a joker." Raizel muttered to himself as he lazily stood up from the throne he was sitting on all this time.

"Alright. All this sitting is making me pretty bored now anyway."

After saying this with a playful tone, a sharp smile appeared on his face as his vision shifted toward the skies.

"... Time to play for once."

And this change in gesture, one certain Player who's hovering from the sky, felt it. And by felt means, his system bombarded him with warnings all of a sudden.

[ Your skill 'Danger Sense' has been activated. ]

[ Situation: Someone is approaching ]

[ Danger Level: EXTREMELY HIGH ]

[ Analysis: RUN ]

"Huh?"

Though, it seems that he doesn't need to read what the system is saying in order to realize the situation. The pair of red eyes that suddenly appeared in front of him and is now closely staring at his face could already explain it all.

"Shit!"

To be fair, he reacted pretty quickly. Unfortunately though, it doesn't matter anymore since it's too late now. A black spear already passed through his entire body.

"I'M NOT FEELING VERY ANIME RIGHT NOW SO..."

Now with this, Raizel finally announced his presence throughout the entire Battlefield. Grabbing everyone's attention.

"I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY BUT... GOOD LUCK."

The very moment that every Hunter here wishes to happen finally happened.

"YOU GUYS NEED IT AFTER ALL."

That's why after saying his last piece...

"Let's start."

Without any delay, the pure white skies of Niflheim... suddenly turned dark red.

Simultaneously, the lands glowed brightly as thousands of spells and skills were unleashed all at once.

And with that, the long-awaited Battle finally started.
