5 The Beginning of YGGDRASIL

(AN: This is sorta an exposition dump and/or wording building delving into Zurg's past)

(PS:I have no idea what I'm writing so here goes something)

(PPS: This is something I'd like to write since I'm waiting on the votes whether or not to put nazarick in the story or not also sorry if it seems rushed cause it is)

Moving to Japan was stressful since his wife was so against it, especially when it came to their child but ultimately she conceded since his company moved him due to his job and it was a good then that his wife was fluent in Japanese and was one herself and so she was here to translate for the Japanese speaking audience and they even bought their child here since he was being watched by his brother, still its a parents job to worry. But other than that everything is going great for the demonstration of a new game, it was sure to be the first of its kind a DMMO-RPG (Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) according to his boss and shareholder's. Thousands of gamers were here to test out the next best game, he was confident about the speech he was supposed to present, good thing his wife was here by his side. The screen behind him starts to display a countdown and he mentally prepares himself to say his speech "go home or go big" James thought to himself.

and a kiss on the cheek by his Beautiful wife Aki was definitely a good luck charm. 

"Hello and thank you for joining us on this momentous event that is sure to blow your minds, I hope for you to enjoy the game that the developers made and we have gathered over a 1000 players to help us present YGGDRASIL, but before that I apologize to parents with kids who wanna play the game."

and Aki starts to translate for her husband, while the presentation and demonstration of YGGDRASIL is going. James brother Steve is looking after his kid but not really paying attention all that much and just watching him closely while being on his phone. A boy no more then 5 years old connected to a Neural Nano-Interface is beta-testing YGGDRASIL as a cool True Vampire Warrior and is having fun playing the game and so far there's no issue and is an enjoyable experience. Back to the presentation and demonstration things were going well until the beta testers avatars were being killed, left and right by an in what can only be destroyed by a monstrous figure tearing them limb by limb and the people were loving the gore, originally the beta-testers were supposed to fight a dragon but the people were loving it, the only ones that were having a bad time were the beta-testers but who gives a shit, there drumming up interest for the game. 

An hour later, whoever was the vampire left as well but not without leaving a great impression about the game and while getting his stuff in order and shaking hands with other important people, he's greet by his brother Steve carrying his pride and joy

"Here's your little bundle of joy"

"Thanks Steve"

"No prob, listen I gotta go I'll see you later"

"Yeah of course stupid you live with us" 

"See ya later idiot" they give each other fist bumps before they separated despite the harsh words they care about one another, Aki then comes by picking up the child and giving him a kiss on the forehead.

"Aw look at him all tuckered out" Aki said while leaning into James "We did good today James" she said with sincerity, they were both tired from the presentation.

 Time skip 

The now 15-year old was basically a gaming legend in YGGDRASIL, and so activated the Neural Nano-Interface and it welcomed him like an old friend. The menu still looks the same and after hours he decided to play with the vampire race and the warrior class named Zeke Dark blood as lazy as that sounds, it felt right but unbeknownst to the now named Zeke. The Beta testers from a years ago were still furious at the vampire for slaughtering them and being humiliated at the expo and wanted to track him down and kill his character over and over but Zeke despite his tender age of 6 displayed a level of focus that was downright scary and kept trying to cyber bully him into leaving to satisfy their own egos but the boy wasn't going to take that laying down.

Their plan didn't work they tried to jump his character but it didn't work, The vampire had an unreal sense of focus dispatching each and everyone of them in an instant with a mighty swipe of his claws. Again and again they tried whether by sheer numbers or magic it never worked and so did what most people on the internet when they hate someone, inadvertently give attention to them and immortalize them in internet legend. Soon every player in YGGDRASIL knew who Zeke dark blood was and went after him with no success, he never talked to anyone and so never brag causes why would he need to say it, his actions spoke for him.

It was another day of grinding for levels when another group of human players started to gang up on him. "Come on guys why fight, when we can be in peace" Zeke said with a voice modifier to make him sound scarier. They were talking but Zeke being a little cocky decided to take their spell head on but something weird happened. His avatar changed race due to the affect of the world item this group of players had acquired and since the players thought they had a chance, Zeke had taken their chance to float away with a mighty swipe of his axes. "Idiots just cause you changed my race doesn't mean I'm weak"

Zeke said with disappointment as he took the staff with the rainbow gem, it was called Circe's staff it allowed you to change a target's race and appearance, but it can't change their job classes. Also the staff can change only one target and can be used again after 48 hours. But the staff can turn someone immediately into a special class of their race if the user so chooses. So Zeke got a nice world item, and it's very decent. Zeke noticed that he was now a basic zombie class and decided to ditch the amour but after a while of walking around another group of Heteromorph hating players they decided to attack him. Zeke tried to defend himself as best he could but quickly that a zombie with the warrior wasn't good for PVP. Zeke was quickly knocked down and was about to die, until he heard a war-scream of a female? And the 5 players that were there were killed, whoever this new person was they only killed them to have the satisfaction of killing him themselves until he heard a girl's voice.

"Are you ok?" Zeke noticed her hand was outstretched to help him it was green and big, oh shes a orc that's nice. He was flabbergasted that this girl had helped him out but he had to ask.

"Why'd you save me?..." he notices her taking a deep breath until she turns around in a dramatic fashion as she throws her arms up in epic fashion.

"BECAUSE SAVING SOMEONE IS ALWAYS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!" She yells in a passionate tone that can be heard for miles. I take her outstretched hand as she picks me up easily since shes a solid 9 feet, I don't whether to be aroused or embarrassed since I'm shorter then her.

But I cant deny that shes a decent person, helping a lone wolf like me its a good thing she doesn't know who I am. Better keep that charade I'll just say I'm a noob, I have a great idea for a guild anyways.

"What's your name then green lady"

"My name is Pix Soh" 

"That's a weird name there" And she does a dramatic gasp and points a finger at me 

"Oh Ok what's your name then huh" She says in a huff

"Zurg" Im changing my name here and now since I might play with her for the foreseeable future besides. And when I say that she started laughing loudly.

"Look at that we both have weird names"

I laugh with her and decided to ask her something 

"I have a great idea" She looks down on me literally 

"What's up" 

"How about we team up since lots of players seem to have something against hetromorphs, and you protect me and I'll protect you"

I raise my hand for a handshake and wait for a answer

"You got yourself a deal Zurg"
