Citrinitas is the NPC responsible for anything alchemic or magical related in the guild Ainz Ooal Gown. With the title and position of Grand Alchemist and Plague Doctor, he holds a unique yet powerful position that rivals floor guardians themselves.
Like the Flawless Homunculus he is, Citrinitas has no flaws when it comes to appearance. Perfect skin complexion, messy blonde hair, sharp and enchanting red eyes and a toned muscular body of a Greek God. It's no exaggeration that a simple smile of his could make queens wage war between each other.
However, his charming figure that could melt any female's heart is shrouded in a wall of mystery. Both in thought process as well as looks. At a glance, Citrinitas takes the form of a plague doctor. Expensive fabrics cover him head to toe. From the glowing white lights coming out of his eye sockets to his cape that drags along the floor behind him. His outfit creates a feeling akin to the feeling of being watched alone at night. Though Citrinitas could wear other outfits just as ominous, he prefers the plague doctor one the most.
It is impossible to truly read the actions of Citrinitas. To the typical person, Citrinitas is polite but slightly ambiguous at times. However, every action has a hidden plot behind it. Every echoed word he speaks from his mask is multi-layered and weaved with precision. Only a genius on his level could only HOPE to decipher the words that formulate from his mouth.
Due to this ambiguity and unique way of thinking, he is one of the 4 smartest beings in Nazarick. A person that can make even Demiurge seem like an idiot at times. Some may argue that with such an intellect, Citrinitas would be a perfect ambassador or a general. Someone who could stump the competition in its tracks with smarts alone. That isn't the case for Citrinitas. As his title suggests, he focuses his time on alchemy and anything magic or science-oriented.
For days, weeks and rarely, months, Citrinitas locks himself in his lab and delves into the endless chasm of magic. His drive to produce only the most flawless potions, poisons, scrolls, flasks and materials for Nazarick is his life's work.
Though he keeps a shield of courtesy around him, when it comes to completing a task, it is a different story entirely. To Citrinitas, it doesn't matter who needs to suffer the effects of a poison. It doesn't matter how many innocents he has to slaughter to get hold of an artefact or material he desires.
A child? Pregnant women perhaps? Possibly even countless families minding their own business. In the end, they're all the same in Citrinitas's eyes. As long as an action or test improves Nazarick in some way. As long as a sacrifice can make something efficient, Citrinitas is willing to go on with it.
Oddly enough, even when dealing with beings outside Nazarick, Citrinitas still keeps his polite tone. If he saw a young girl crying, he would give her a teddy bear. Though, if sed girl was the key to a scientific discovery, Citrinitas wouldn't hesitate to use her to see results.
Citrinitas is a living paradox. He has the capability to care for those around him such as the beings of Nazarick or the innocent. Yet, when it comes to the study of alchemy, magic and science, Citrinitas won't hesitate to experiment on someone in the name of research. Though, if dealing with truly monstrous beings, Citrinitas does get the occasional kick out of their suffering.
To Citrinitas, other than the beings of Nazarick, every lifeform is just a cog in a machine. Sacks of flesh waiting to be tweaked, altered or replaced. The world is his puppet and he is the puppet master pulling on the strings from the shadows.
From his unsettling outfit that makes the hairs on your skin stand up to his unpredictable thoughts and ideas. From the unexplainable nature of his professionalism and politeness to his drive and passion for his work.
As he is the Grand Alchemist of Nazarick.

The embodiment of the unknown.
The Sovereign of Dawn.
Even if the world ends, as the last spark in the fireplace ceases and the last star in the sky fades; Citrinitas will continue his work without pause.

Citrinitas, due to being focused on his magical studies, has no time for relationships. He believes that it is professional to not have romantic affairs between colleagues. However, due to his politeness, he can't break the hearts of those he makes fall for him. As such, while both Esdeath and Shalltear yearn for his affection, Citrinitas is hesitant and morally conflicted on how to handle the situation. - Tabula & Peroronchino
