5 Blue Rose

E-Rantel

A city located on the borders of the Re-Estize, Slane Theocracy and Baharuth Empire.

There was a strong military presence in the city as conflict often occurred between the Re-Estize and Baharuth Empire near it. Being in a strategic location of 3 countries also meant that adventurers and mercenaries were a common sight as they often would travel through it.

Inside a certain street, a pair of figures had drawn the attention of everyone that they passed by. One of them was a woman of unparalleled beauty, while the other was a warrior clad in pure white.

They stepped into one of the many "Adventurer's Guild" buildings in the city.

===

Inside the building, a group of girls were drinking and chatting in one corner. The glint of the adamantine plate could be seen on one of them. In particular, a certain lady there was drawing the gaze of all the guys who were there.

Her name was Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra

Due to her immense talent, she had rose through the ranks of the adventurer when she decided to embark on the journey. Hearing the exploits of her uncle, Azuth, in the Red Drop, caused her to want to walk a similar path.

She accomplished one exploit after another. At only nineteen years of age, she was the leader of the adamantine adventurer group, Blue Rose. A beautiful young lady and a famous adventurer of the Re-Estize Kingdom. Lakyus was a goddess that many men dreamed to marry but could never hope to touch.

Furthermore, she was one of the only few adventurers that could use [Raise Dead], a fifth-tier resurrection spell. An adventurer that could use such a level of spell was incredibly rare, it was only one rank below the sixth tier - the highest tier known obtainable by humans.

This very girl was right now sitting with her fellow friends inside a building. After accomplishing their previous mission of eradicating a notorious orc raiding party, they were resting and preparing to move on to their next mission the next day.

"500 gold coins. That's quite a handsome amount. I wonder how many boys I can pay to bed with me for this." Gargaran chucked a mug of beer down her throat. "So, what's the next for us?"

"Someone from the royalty in the capital," Lakyus said.

"And the mission details?"

"We will only be informed when we meet with her."

"I hope we won't be slaying monsters again. It would be nice to have something else for a change." Gargaran said. "Is something wrong?"

Laykus was no longer paying attention to what her friend said. Her gaze had turned towards a pair that had stepped into the building, in particular, a certain person decked out fully in white armour.

It was rare to see someone who could afford such exquisite armour. There were engravings around the equipment, quite similar to the one she had. It definitely wasn't cheap.

Upon seeing the copper plate that hung around the person's neck and not his companion. She immediately concluded that this was probably a rich noble playboy who was just looking to have some fun. Lakyus hated those types the most - they were always looking at her with lust and all kinds of lewd thoughts.

She was a powerful, noble adamantine ranked adventurer of the Re-Estize Kingdom, not a sex object to satisfy the needs of disgusting men.

Furthermore, the armour she wore "Virgin Snow" was said to be only worn by virgins. Lakyus, therefore, guarded her purity zealously.

While the disdain she had for men, which she had kept extremely well-hidden, had dropped over the years; the rules for Blue Rose had never changed - no men would be ever allowed to join the group.

Lakyus reckoned the beautiful girl was probably a maid the person brought along for 'relief'. Copper Plate ranked adventurers would never be able to afford a piece of the gear, let alone an entire set which led her to the conclusion that the person's identity was a wealthy noble scion.

"It's nothing."

She casually replied. However, her interest had been aroused. Being an adventurer was not exactly a glamorous job. She couldn't understand why a rich young noble would want to embark on such a journey. It was an extremely rare occurrence.

Under her prying eyes, the pair approached the counter, with the noble taking the lead.

"-yes. I want an adamantine ranked quest."

The man clad in white armour spoke in a youthful voice. Judging from it, he was probably around the same age as her.

"I'm sorry. But rules are rules. I cannot allow you to take on such a job. Furthermore, a one-man team adventurer taking on an adamantite job is impossible."

The counter-girl flatly rejected the request.

"In that case. How about I prove my strength? Since there's an adamantine adventurer right there."

===

Shin was elated.

His plan at first was to climb the adventurer ranks step by step to reach the adamantine class. Since there was one such group here, he would use them as his stepping stone. It was also a good chance to experience the strength of Admantite class adventurers for himself.

The reason for his confidence came from the intelligence gathered by his subordinates. After his little spar with Solution, Shin immediately ordered actions to be taken to gather information about the world, covertly. At the suggestion of Demiurge, he had charged him to send out shadow demons for the task. It was from there that he had a rough understanding of the strength of humans in this world.

If a sixth-tier spell was considered the limit of humans in this world, then the strength of Nazarick could be considered to be really overpowered.

He also ordered Demiurge and Albedo to take charge of the matters of Nazarick when he was absent. For some reason, he could still get tired and hungry, and Shin naturally could not single-handedly take care of the administrative work that came with it. It also was a method for him to see what his subordinates were capable of.

"Unfortunately it doesn't work this -"

The counter girl tried to explain, but found her sentence cut off by the Paladin again.

"What if I defeat them all by myself? How about it?"

Shin's comment elicited another chorus of sarcasm and laughter from everyone in the building.

However, there was no response from the members of Blue Rose. They looked on at him.

"Don't tell me a bunch of Admantite ranked adventurers are afraid of a Copper class like me? Or perhaps … you got your rank through some other … indecent means? Well well, I didn't know that the adventurer guild allowed for such a method of advancement."

He would provoke them into a response.

"I won't tolerate you insulting my friends!"

Lakyus stood up in anger, her blue tunic outfit causing her attractive curves to be on full display.

Shin had to admit, the girl was truly a natural beauty. Along with her hourglass figure, she gave off a very unique charm of her own. Her angry expression only added to the allure she exuded.

"How dare you-"

Narberal gripped the hilt of her sword tightly. Her eyes radiated anger as she stared down at the inferior bugs who dared to speak in such a manner to her Lord.

"Stand down, Narber … Nabe."

Shin gave the girl a gentle pat on her head, indicating for her to move aside and dispelling the hostility she exuded. The unexpected act was interpreted by Narberal as a display of affection by her master towards her. A tinge of red appeared on the maid's cheeks.

Shin was now the one-man adventurer Reinhardt of the Light, being accompanied by his servant - Nabe.

This was the perfect chance to straight away get to experience what those difficult quests were like. He wasn't going to take his time climbing the ranks.

"Fight me. If you win, I will apologise to your friends. But if I win, you will let me take on adamantine class jobs alongside your team."

He issued his challenge.

"Why should-"

[I have in my possession a sixth-tier Greater Raise Dead spell that has been sealed in an item. If you win, that item is yours. I can let you verify it in private if you have doubts]

Lakyus thoughts were interrupted halfway by a message Shin sent.

The girl hesitated. Owning a sixth-tier spell was something too attractive to the inhabitants of this world. Flueder Paradyne of the Baharuth Empire was the only known inhabitant to have reached such a rank and that was considered the peak of humankind.

Such an item was considered trash in Shin's eyes but a priceless treasure to the humans. He had too many of them to count.

Touch Me's character possessed an item known as the Majestic Infinite Backbag. It was a unique inventory item only awarded to players who came in first in some of YGGDRASIL's limited-time events when the server opened. The item was different from the standard Infinite Backbag in the fact that it could store up to a hundred times more items. It was never given out again due to the player's feedback that it was too broken.

As such, the Touch-Me never had to discard any items. 12 years of YGGDRASIL journey by Touch-Me meant he was incredibly loaded. He was akin to a Centibillionaire walking amongst beggars.

On top of that, there was still the Guild Stash in Nazarick where its guild members used to store and share items they did not need with one another. Any of those unwanted items would be considered a priceless national treasure in the human kingdoms of this world.

It was therefore child's play for Shin to give away a sixth-tier spell. A spell that could resurrect would be incredibly useful to any adventurer group, particularly one that took on difficult tasks. He was certain the girl wouldn't be able to resist the offer.

"Will you keep your word?"

The leader of the Blue Rose asked.

"Lakyus!" The other members of Blue Rose spoke up, shocked by their leader's decision to fight. They were clearly unaware of the secret message that Shin had sent.

"Naturally. Let's go somewhere else now, shall we? We wouldn't want to destroy the place."
