Talk With Mito

Arashi's room was engulfed in silence after his revelations of Madara Uchiha's future plans. Nobody was in the mood to break the silence. This revelations had a major impact on Mikoto. She found it hard to believe that her ancestor who everybody thought was dead not only was living but also planning to wage war against all the nations.

Just the thought alone seemed impossible to everyone. If they had not known that whatever Arashi was telling them was the truth, they would not have believed it.

Taking a long, deep breath Mikoto said "Madara Uchiha is really powerful. I can see why even if our clan didn't agree with him back then, they still respects him. Even though he betrayed our village, his statue is still made along with First Hokage at the valley of the end. Both him and First Hokage are shinobi on a completely different level.

Even though I don't like his method of bringing peace to the current world, I respect him for his strength. But this doesn't mean I will go along with whatever he is planning.

Now that we all know what is he planning, I don't think we shouldn't prepare for it. Its a good thing that we all agreed on Arashi's proposal. I can see why he wanted to do such things. Even before we face Otsutsuki clan, its better to clear any future troubles before they become a major threat."

"Mikoto is right. We all know that we are going to have to face him sooner or later. Well it may not be as dangerous as facing an Otsutsuki, but who knows what will happen in the future. We have already agreed to train together and prepare to face the Otsutsuki clansmen. Madara may be just an obstacle in the path. Who knows until then we have reached such a height that facing him will be very easy. Any one among us can beat him single handedly." said Kana. She didn't show much of a reaction regarding the plans of Madara. If all went well, he might become a stepping stone for them.

"Yeah, let's leave this for later. We will face Madara when the time is right. Lets end this meeting. I have enough for one day." said Kushina irritably. With one after one revelations, her mind had become all jumbled up. She needed to think clearly about whatever they had discussed today.

"OK everyone. We have enough talk today. Let's all return home and rest." said Arashi.

Soon everyone except Arashi left the room.

"Well everything went fine. Now that everyone is on board, it will be easier for me to achieve my goals." Arashi started meditating to clear his mind and started to think for his next steps.

He knew that he had to talk with grandma Mito and Tsunade to convince them to help him. He didn't thought they would be that difficult to convince ones he started to tell them about Madara and Otsutsuki clan.

He decided to tell them as soon as possible.

It's been a week since Arashi's meeting with Kushina, Kana and Mikoto. In this week, a lot of things had happened. After Tsunade returned from her mission, Arashi told her and grandma Mito about everything and managed to convince them easily with the help of the three girls.

Afterward grandma Mito drew the two seals on Kana and Mikoto. It took them a while to get acquainted to the gravity and chakra restraining seals. As both of them had weaker body compared to Senju and Uzumaki, it would take them a long time to adjust. But they were happy regarding the improvements they would make after getting used to it.

While they started their training together, they decided to train in one field specially before jumping in to another. Mikoto decided to take medical ninjutsu path along with Tsunade and Kana while Kushina decided to become a seal mistress like grandma Mito. As for Arashi, he already had made up his mind to be a master in all fields.

As for combat training, all of them trained in the three fields i.e. ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu. They knew they had to at least reach a specific level to become a powerful shinobi in the future.

Grandma Mito also helped them for their training sessions. Even though she herself didn't participate due to her age, her advice was welcomed by all. After all she was a powerful shinobi herself.

While training, Arashi was thinking about what grandma Mito had said him earlier this week in private.

Two days after Arashi had revealed everything to grandma Mito, she called Arashi to her private study room.

As soon as he entered the room, grandma Mito activated privacy seals. She gestured him to take a seat in front of her.

"Arashi, you know I had a hard time believing whatever you have told us. Not everyday you get to listen to a seven year old boy telling you that someone who had died is still alive and plotting for the world to be put inside a genjutsu.

You know if not for the fact that I have known some secrets that nobody knew except Tobirama, then I would have not believed in you." Mito said in calm voice. She was paying attention to Arashi. She wanted to see if he was ready to listen to these secrets.

"Yes, I know Madara is alive." As soon as her words left her mouth Arashi felt surprised. Though he had already told her this, how could she knew beforehand.

"Oh! Don't be surprised. If you knew what Tobirama was experimenting on, you would not be surprised." Mito decided that it was better if he knew everything after some thoughts. She had been thinking about this matter for the last two days. She thought he was too young to know these secrets but she decided that he already knew some things. Its better to tell him everything.

"If you have knowledge about future, then you should know that Tobirama had invented 'Impure World Reincarnation' technique. It binds the soul of a deceased person to a living vessel, restoring them as they were when they were alive in order to do their summoner's bidding. A living sacrifice is required for the reincarnated soul to use as a vessel.

Tobirama wanted to use this technique to revive his brother, but I stopped him. As a member of Uzumaki clan who have some knowledge about Death, I know it's against the natural law to interfere with it. The consequences of such action is severe.

I stopped him from further research. Afterward his interest shifted towards the Uchiha clan. He wanted to know why sharingan was so powerful and why it has such evolutions like the Mangekyo Sharingan or the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. He also wanted to know about if further evolution was possible. During his research he tried to use Madara Uchiha's body for some of his experiments. But he found out that his body had disappeared.

Only a clone was found in his coffin. He rejected the idea of someone stealing it because only he and I knew the location and the coffin had many seals to prevent it from stealing. Fearing the worst, he tried to use 'Impure World Reincarnation' jutsu. But the technique didn't work.

We knew instantly that somehow Madara was alive. Tobirama used his student Kagami Uchiha to search for any jutsu that can bring back dead inside the Uchiha library. There he found out about Izanagi and Izanami technique of Uchiha clan.

With Izanagi, the user applies an illusion to reality itself, giving the user control over what is and is not real for as long as Izanagi is active. Users typically do this in order to protect themselves, negating any injuries they receive or even their deaths. When this happens, their injured self fades away as an illusion and their non-injured self immediately materializes in the previous self's place.

In exchange for the brief control over reality that Izanagi grants them, the Sharingan that they perform it with becomes blind.

We immediately knew that he has used this technique to cheat death. Tobirama tried to search for him but failed. With Madara's skills finding him was impossible. He later erased the memories of everyone involved in this using a seal. He later used all his time to research Uchiha clan bloodline and Sharingan to come with a way to defeat Madara if needed. But he didn't get enough time to come up with a way due to war.

After his death only I knew about this matter but kept this as a secret. Now that I have heard what he has been planning, it seems pointless to keep this as a secret.

But the news of him awakening Rinnegan terrifies me. Nobody knows what he is capable of with it. Even if you know about the future events, don't rely on it." advised Mito.

"I know grandma. The moment I have managed to live, the future has changed. So, I know not to rely on my memories." said Arashi.

"Good. I know you are smart. From the time I have been teaching you about seals, I know you can easily learn anything you want.

From your words, I know you all know about nine tails. I was planning to seal inside Kushina before but your words have changed my mind. I want you to help me find a way to improve the 'Four Symbol Seal' so that you and others can jointly share the seal. This way nobody can extract him without immobilizing all of you. Others will only know about it being sealed inside Kushina but nobody except you all should know about the improved seal.

I know I am demanding a lot from you. But I have confidence we can create such a seal. You can already imagine the benefits of such arrangement." said Mito.

Arashi was left speechless about what he just heard. Even though he had some plans regarding nine tails, he didn't think of such a method. He could already thought of different ways which would help everyone to increase their strength rapidly.

'Wow! I never thought about it before. If we can share nine tails' seal among us and make it such that it's chakra flow within our body enhancing it more and we can have a source of nearly unlimited chakra. If we can further improve the seal and create a pocket dimension, we can use this dimension for various purpose. I can already think of various use of this method.' thought Arashi.

Looking at Arashi deep in thought, Mito could guess what he was thinking. As a seal mistress she knew such seal would help them greatly in the future. Waiting for Arashi to awaken from his thoughts, Mito also began to think of the last matter she wanted to tell him. She sighed deeply. It was difficult for her to inform him about this.

Arashi left his thinking for a later date and expressed his willingness towards the proposal.

"I will be happy to help you grandma."

"Very good, Arashi."

Taking a deep breath she decided to tell him about what had been plaguing her mind.

"Arashi, you know that us Uzumaki can live for a long time. But it seems my time is coming closer. Nine tails seal is taking a toll on my body. Even with my Uzumaki heritage, it seems I have only five more years to live."

As soon as Arashi heard this, his face was pale. Even though he knew this would come for some time. This didn't meant it was easier to hear. Arashi didn't know how to respond. Though he didn't live with her for a long time, he had come to like her as a family. He never knew his grand parents before. But Mito managed to take a place in his heart as grandma. Her kindness prevented him from only thinking about revenge. He wanted her to be with him forever.

"Don't be sad Arashi. It's not like I am going to die any moment. We have five more years to spend together. I want them to be happier with you all. I don't want to have any regret before I live and join with Hashirama in the afterlife. He must be waiting for me there. If not for you all and the burden of sealing nine tails, I would have joined him sooner. So, don't worry about me. Let's work together in making this seal. This may be the last gift I have for you all."

Mito tried to console him. She knew it was difficult for him to hear this but she had been thinking about this for a while. If not for Tsunade and Nawaki being so young without any parental figure, she might have already joined Hashirama in afterlife. She was very tired of carrying all the burden alone after his death. Death of her son and daughter in law didn't help to alleviate the burden.

"I will try to teach you all everything I know. Also I will give you the location of Tobirama's secret lab where he has kept all his research papers hidden. This will help you in achieving your dreams. He had researched extensively about different bloodlines. But promise me you will not use this for any evil purpose. Always keep your heart clear of any darkness. Don't drown yourself in the path of power before you forget your true self.

I don't want you to be like a power hungry person. Do everything you want without crossing the moral compass. I know it's going to be hard maintaining such ideals as shinobi but don't forget before we are a shinobi, we are a human. Follow the path of a true shinobi."

Her words remained in his memories. After that night, his sealing training had increased tremendously. She wanted him to learn everything as soon as possible and help her in creating the seal before her death.

'Sigh! Let's focus on training. Whatever will happen in the future, I will face it.' thought Arashi.
