10 Chapter 10 A Lucky Day for Hinata

Naruto started his day with one lap around the Konoha. He met Maito Gai and Rock Lee while doing his lap.

Naruto said, "Hello Gai san and Lee."

Gai said, "You are quite persistent Naruto kun. This is what people call youth's power. Your youth is shining like a brightest star. Lee, we should not fall behind."

Lee said, "Yes guy sensei, your words are full of wisdom."

Gai said, "If you are the brightest star, then we will become the brightest sun in the day. Lee, we will do 500 extra laps."

Lee said, "Yes Gai sensei."

Gai said, " Lee."

Lee said, "Gai sensei."

Gai said, "Lee."

They started crying, tears started like a flood while hugging each other. An illusion of a sunset is behind them early in the morning.

Naruto thought, 'My god I have seen something unreal just now. They always do something impossible.'

Gai said, "Lee let's start our extra laps."

Lee answered, "Yes Gai sensei."

There they are gone invisible in a cloud of dust.

Naruto finished his lap and went to a Bakery nearby.

Naruto said, "I want some Senzai and cinnamon rolls, please pack them."

The Bakery Woman replied, "Yes sir."

She packed the order and gave it to Naruto. He checked the food with his magic. Paid for it and left for his house. After reaching the house he made his breakfast and lunch and packed it. After taking a bath he ate his breakfast and packed his lunch and bakery food.

He reached early to the academy. Shikamaru entered the class and sat beside him.

Shikamaru greets him, "Hai Naruto."

Naruto greets him as well, "Hii Shika. "

Shikamaru said, "You did quite a number on that kid."

Naruto replied, "He was trying to mock me. I haven't forgotten, he tried to trick me in the name of friendship and exposed me to a dangerous situation."

Shikamaru said, "I remember that."

Naruto replied, "Still he dares to mock me. He pissed me at the wrong time."

Shikamaru did not pay much attention, "Yeah whatever, I am going to sleep."

Hinata entered the class at the same time. Naruto got up from his seat and went towards her. Hinata became nervous.

Hinata said her voice stuttering from nervousness, "Hel...lo Nar.. uto k.. un."

Naruto greets her while giving her Bakery food, "Hai hinata, this is for you."

He handed her the Bakery food which he ordered early in the morning. Hinata was about to faint, but Naruto flicked his finger on her head. It hurt a little bit.

Hinata nervously said while rubbing her forehead, "Ouch!! Thanks for th.. he giii... ii.. ift."

Naruto said, "Come with me at lunchtime."

Hinata thought, 'With Naruto kun during lunch time. What we are gonna do?' She is playing with her finger while avoiding eye contact with him.

Naruto said, "I thought we could eat together during lunchtime. That's all, and talk for a while to know each other. You can help me with my studies after all we are classmates."

Hinata with a red face replied, " Yesss, I wi.. illll de..efin...etly co..me. " She thought, 'Lunch with Naruto kun. It is like a date. Our first date. I am feeling very nervous.'

Naruto said, "The classroom is always empty during lunch, so can we eat here."

Hinata with a red face said, " O. kkk in classs... ro.. om." She thought, 'I will be all alone with naruto kun.'

Naruto leaves Hinata in her daydream and sits in his place.

Shikamaru said, "I thought you weren't gonna ask her considering you always ask Sakura for dates."

Naruto replied, "I want to improve my grades so I am asking for her help. She is shy but more intelligent than Sakura."

Shikamaru yawned and said, "Anyway I am going to sleep."

Class started shortly afterward. No stunt like yesterday. Even in practice class, he didn't do anything out of the ordinary. He kept everything average, not high or low. During the spar, the opponent surrendered. Even Mizuki didn't try anything because he knew Hokage had an eye on him.

During lunch, the class becomes empty except for Naruto and Hinata. They sat together, opened their lunch, and started to eat.

Hinata nervously asked, "Naru.. uu.. to kun are youu fineee aft.. ter the fa.. ll from that tr.. ee."

Naruto replied, "I am perfectly alright Hinata. You look quite nervous. Please don't stutter the word. It is hard to understand."

Hinata answered, "I will try.. y. You lo.. ok quite different.. t with re.. ed, and yel.. low color.. r hai.. ir."

Naruto said, "Don't I look good in this? All Uzumaki's have red color hair. It's common for us."

Hinata said with more confidence, "You look ver.. ry good. I don't know much about Uzumaki's."

Naruto asked her, "Do you like Senzai and Cinnamon rolls which I brought for you?" He thought at the same time. 'Google is a cheat.'

Hinata said, "I loved it. It is my fav.. orite."

Naruto said, "You are very intelligent. So please help me in my studies."

Hinata happily replied, "I wi...ll Naruto kun."

Naruto said, "You can come to my house if you have free time to teach me. You can give me notes too. I will return it on the next day."

Hinata happily replied, "I would love to help you Naruto kun."

Naruto said, "Thank you Hinata, you are a big help."

Lunch has finished and they returned to their places but now Hinata become much more confident. At least her stuttering became less frequent. After class, Naruto took some notes from Hinata. And they went their own way.

Somewhere in Konoha

Ino meets Sakura during her shopping.

Ino said, "Hai wide forehead."

Sakura replied, "What you want Ino pig?"

Ino said, "I want to talk with my old friend while shopping." She said it with a smile.

Sakura said, " That's fine with me, but whatever you say Sasuke kun is still mine."

Ino replied with a cheeky smile, "Dream on the forehead."

Sakura suddenly said, "Have you seen the smile on the face of Sasuke kun? It was the first time I had seen him smiling."

Ino replied, "And who made him smile, its not you Sakura." She loves teasing Sakura a lot.

Sakura teased her back, "You are one to talk, he didn't smile for you."

Ino said, "He smiled for Naruto, that's the biggest irony."

Sakura said, "That was the biggest surprise in my life. Sasuke never smiled at us like that."

Ino teased her old friend for that, "You should take Naruto on a date to make Sasuke kun smile." She started to laugh after that.

Sakura angrily said, "No way, my first date will be with Sasuke kun."

Ino thought something and said, "By the way, Naruto is not asking you on a date nowadays, especially after his fall. He even told you to shut up yesterday if I remember correctly."

Sakura with a hardened face said, "So what, I don't care. Good for him to not get beaten up every time from me."

Ino replied, "Sakura I advise you, not to hit him, nowadays. You have seen what happened to that boy after he taunted Naruto. He is in the hospital. I heard that he has to stay for a week."

Sakura is a little shocked but still asks, "His injury is that bad. I do not believe it."

Ino replied, "Yeah, a broken jaw and nose. Several fractured ribs near the chest and some minor fractures on the thigh. Try not to anger Naruto even if you don't believe what he can do."

Sakura with a thoughtful expression said, "I can listen to you this time, I guess."

Ino said, "I even heard that he has support from Fire Damiyo. So people are avoiding to complain about him for any reason."

Sakura replied, "Even I heard about that."

Ino said, "Maybe his parents have a good relationship with Fire Damiyo which is benefitted him now. No one knows who his parents were. So that can be a possibility."

Sakura thought about the rumors and said, "It can be possible otherwise why did Fire Damiyo send his men to look and support him ."

Sakura and Ino are talking about all the rumors and gossip which is happening in the village.
