Eve, Lin, and Lily left the Adventurer's Guild with eyes on their backs, however, surprisingly, no one tried anything.

But it's for good reason.

Lin was showing extremely scary gazes at every adventurer who looked at Eve. The adventurers, especially veterans, had their instincts screaming that if they try anything, they'll die in the next second.

They leave the Adventurer's Guild, with Eve grinning a little with a book in her hands.

The book is an adventure guide for beginners. Receptionist Clara offered it to Eve for having registered as a junior adventurer, and Eve readily accepted. After all, who wouldn't gladly accept free information?

The Adventurer's guidebooks contained basic, common sense information about monsters, hunting grounds, and other quest-related things, and are distributed to the youngest members of the guild who have just joined.

That was great for Eve. She just came to see what the Adventurer's Guild was like, and left with a book full of information to deposit in the database of Alpha Prime.

Lily looked strangely at Eve with the book in her hand. More specifically, to the small smile on Eve's lips.

"Eve-sama..." Lily nudged her lightly, afraid of spoiling her master's mood.

"Question: What is it, Lily?" Eve answered without turning around.

"Since when did you... Well you know...Smile?" Lily said a little hesitantly, not sure how to ask about that.

Eve looked at her in confusion. 'How so since when I smile? I smile like anyone else...'

It was then that Eve realized the reason for Lily's confusion.

'Wait, she's right. I am an Automaton. How can I smile? That shouldn't be possible.' She thought. Her once smiling face changed into her usual neutral but thoughtful expression.

OverLord's YGGDRASIL Automatons, like all races, have racial traits. Take Eve as an example. Her race makes her completely immune to poisons, as well as being able to change her body parts at will. All Automatons are also programmed not to display even the slightest hint of emotions from their face and eyes.

According to Lily, she was smiling now, even if it was a slight smile. So how was that possible?

How similar is this world and the virtual world of YGGDRASIL? How different are they?

Maybe because it's a different world and not the world of YGGDRASIL, do some rules there not apply here? Or is something causing this change? Is this just her, or is this happening with the other Alpha Prime Automatons as well?

'With each passing second, more questions arise...' Eve thought worriedly.

"Eve-sama...Where are we going now?" Lin asked neutrally. There was no emotion in her voice.

Eve then turned to Lin and had an idea. 'Lin is also an Automaton. Isn't it the perfect time to test my theory?' Eve thought with a twinkle in her eye.

Lin felt Eve's gaze and shivered slightly. 'Did I...Do something wrong? Shouldn't I have spoken?' She thought with concern.

"Question: Lin..."

"Yes...Eve-sama?"

"What do you feel about me?"

"I love you from the bottom of my heart, Eve-sama!" Lin responded without hesitation with a fervent passion for his creator, which not only startled Eve, but also the other people passing on the street, who were now looking at them with strange looks.

"Hey! That's not fair! I love you too, Eve-sama!" Lily, who was at their side, also declared with a pout, finding it unfair that Eve had asked Lin and not her.

Lin turned to Lily. "Lily...Don't pry. This question was...Directed at me."

Lily spits on the floor and shows a disgusted expression. "Aaah?! Do you think you love Eve-sama more than I do? Want to fight, you fifth-generation junk?!"

"Fight...? Do you think a maid like you which is as useless as a door...Can fight me? And I may have been created first...But that just means that Eve-sama thought of me first...And then she thought of you." Lin retorted. Her facial expression didn't change, but there was a fiery fire burning in her eyes.

"Why do you think they are fighting?"A housewife, who was watching the fight, whispered to her friend next to her.

"I don't know. It looks like something related to a love triangle!" The friend replied.

The housewife's eyes widened in astonishment. "Oh gosh! A love triangle involving three women, and one of them is a child?! May the Four Great Gods guide them to the right path!" She prayed.

People in the background started gossiping non-stop as they saw this fight in the middle of the street, leaving Eve red with embarrassment.

"Order: Stop you two! If not, I'm going to lock you two in a chair and make you watch five hours of Lapis's lectures!" Eve said. Her voice was raised in embarrassment.

Lin and Lily stopped at hearing Eve, and then, with their bodies rigid, they bowed in front of her.

"I'm sorry, Eve-sama! I will never fight again! But please don't make me see that! It's worse than being sanded in the joints!" Lily said in a shaky voice.

"Eve-sama...I accept any punishment...Even cleaning public toilets...For a week...But please...No Lapis lectures..." Lin said. Her voice also sounded shaky, but not much as Lily's.

"Decision: All right. I will tolerate just this once. Let's go, we have other places to go. That said, no more fighting, am I clear?" Eve said with her arms crossed over her chest, like a mother lecturing her children.

Lin and Lily nodded fervently. Eve huffed, turned, and walked away, with Lin and Lily close behind.

The people who were watching the fight a little while ago were confused by the situation. Mainly the housewife.

'Is the little girl the head of the relationship? So they weren't the ones who seduced the little girl, but the other way around!' The housewife thought in euphoria. Now she has some hot new gossip to spread to her friends.

Returning to Eve, the three were already far from the adventurer's guild and were now heading the opposite way.

''Where are we going, Eve-sama?'' Lily asked as she increased the step, passing Lin.

"Reply: Oh, I forgot to say, didn't I? We are now heading to the main shrine of the Four Great Gods."

"Why... Are we going there?" Lin asked, picking up her pace even more and walking past Lily.

"Reply: Have you forgotten why we came? I want information. Where else to look for information on a religious country, if not in the Church?"

"As expected of Eve-sama, always thinking ahead!" Lily said with a bright smile, but from behind, she kicked Lin's foot, to make her stumble, but failed.

"Eve-sama is always...Disciplined." Lin said soon after and counterattacked Lily, but also failed.

Eve, who was aware of their 'silent' fight right behind her, sighed. Her subjects are too childish, not that she hates that, as it makes them all seem like one family, and that makes her happy. But there is always a time and place for these things.

Eve was ready to turn around and give the sentence she'd promised to them both, but then she saw the Great Sanctuary of the Four Gods just ahead.

"Announcement: We arrived. Let's go in. And if I see any more fights between you, I'll increase the punishment to ten hours of lectures." Eve said without looking back, leaving Lin and Lily, who was almost biting each other, frozen.

"Eh? Does that mean we're already sentenced to five hours when we get back...?" Lily muttered in terror, and Lin widened her eyes with regret.

Eve starts up the steps to the Great Sanctuary, and Lin and Lily follow behind, begging for their lives.
