82 Chapter 75: Greed Kings

The Capital of Greed Empire. In the middle of the castle, a meeting was ongoing. There were five animal-looking figures present at the round table. The member present were all demi-humans along with their attendance.

They are known to the world as the Greed Kings.

If the presence of Great God's can be said to be holy then the presence of the Greed King is that of Chaos. Even their attendance, which was brought by the Greed Kings, was in scared as they didn't know when their king would go mad and kill them.

The Greed Empire don't have a well-detailed jurisdiction, they only follow one rule and that is; The strong make the rules.

Two hundred years ago, when the Greed Kings arrived here, their first objective was world domination.

So they raised an army without any rules or regulations because of which the army of greed is like a pack of hyenas, destroying everything in its path, devouring everything that moves. Adding to this fact, they are demihumans, lacking human morality.

Of course, not all Demi-humans are like animals; some can control their beastly instincts. But they sometimes lose control from time to time and the greed kings—who are top of the demi-humans lineage are no exception to this.

It's like an undead emotional suppression, but in Greed Kings' case, it's their beastly behaviour. And their beastly behaviour is very destructive because of that all the demi-humans are afraid of them and worship them as the ultimate God.

"Tell us, Hougan, why did you call us on such short notice? You should know I'm a very busy person." Said the figure present at the round table. He was a bulky person with a mane; he had a sharp canine tooth that came out of his mouth. He is the Greed King Leo, a Werelion.

Hearing Leo, King Hougan, the one who arranged the meeting, turned to Leo.

In the group, Hougan was the only one who had a resemblance to a human, but his long ears were proof that he wasn't a human; instead, he was an elf.

"I got an inside scoop from Theocracy. It says Kikotenshin Nekonyan is coming to the Re-estize Kingdom for the annual recognition program." All of sudden the atmosphere in the meeting hall began to rise.

"Can we trust the information, or is it a trap?" One person present asked.

"We can trust the information. It's legitimate; it's from the spy we planted a decade ago to monitor the moment of the fake fuckers." Hougan said because of the deep hatred between Greed Kings and the Great God, they couldn't waste such an opportunity.

While everyone was deciding who to send on the Re-estize Kingdom, one of the Greed Kings asked Hougan a question.

"Hougan, let me ask you a question: why is one of the players going to the Re-estize Kingdom? The human players have been idle since the last war between us. They didn't even move from their place; they had no contact with the outside world until now. So why... No, what forced them to move out of their shelter?"

"And you said one coming was Kikotenshin Nekonyan. He is one of the sharpest humans from the human side. And from what I know, he is not someone who lets himself become an ambassador for some joke of a program, in fact, no human player would do that, just like us they also have pride." Said the insect-looking figure.

He is King Bors, an enormous body size of 3 meters, Bors has the appearance of a beetle walking on two feet—a fusion between a beetle and an ant. With two pairs of tails half as long as his height, Bors is covered in green spiky spikes like teeth and has a strong jaw that can easily snap people's head. Even though his appearance is that of a Heteromorphic race, he is,, in fact a mutant in the Demi-human.

Hearing Bors, Hougan turned to him.

"Bors, what are you getting at?"

"When we first built this great hall, we set some laws which we have to obey in order to avoid a civil war between us. The law does not prohibit false testimony or obscuring the truth in this place, but we are colleagues serving under the same flag, for the same purpose and lying is a grave offence. If you agree with this, let me ask you one more time: What are you hiding?"

"Bors. What's wrong with you? Why are you saying this? This is a perfect opportunity for us to clear the grudge between us. Who cares if it's a trap or not? We have numbers; if it turns into an all-out war."

"Shut up, Milford. Don't you ever say anything in here, you war freak? You'll get time to open that mouth of yours. And Hougan, tell me everything that SPY has sent to you." Bors said that if it were someone else present who talked like him, they would have shredded themselves into pieces.

But the Greed Kings didn't utter a word against Bors; they kept their silence because Bors was the reason why they were able to escape from most of the traps and Hougan was the same as Bors. They were the reason why Greed Kings could live till today. It's true that each Greed King has the power to turn the land into a hellish place, but they lose something in exchange for their power: Their control over emotions and desires. Because of this, most of the time they make irrational decisions solely based on their desires. But this didn't apply to Bors and Hougan as they are from a different category of Demi-humans.

Hearing Bors, Hougan smiled at him.

"Well done. As expected of you, Bors. I simply wanted to explore the possibilities... but now, I'll say it. The reason why Kikotenshin Nekonyan is visiting the Re-Eztize Kingdom is because they think a new player has arrived in this world, just like us." Hearing that all of them become agile.

"A player? Explain the whole situation to me without leaving any details out."
