5 Chapter 4: Logging in.

Chapter 4: Test in Virtual Reality.

[Welcome to Virtual Reality]

The robotic voice welcomed me, as a white flash engulfed my eyes. On reflex I put my hand on my eyes to block the light until my vision got used to it.

"Argh.. My eyes" I groaned as my eyes began to get used to the brightness. "Where the hell am I now?"

I blinked and turned around to see a room with blue transparent rectangles everywhere. And on the side is a female girl with a white short hair and a black headband on her beautiful hair. Her eyes are covered with black blindfold. She is wearing a rather tight black dress that shows her curves, her hands are covered with white gloves that extend to her arm.

"We are glad to have you Baron."

The white hair girl spoke.

"What the.. 2B!?"

"Yes, my name is 2B, I am a guide and an assistant that your brain has materialized once you entered the Neuro system." she explained.

I stared at her mouth moving like I had seen a ghost, surprised at the realism of what the current year has made.

"Wait, hold up a second.. Why the hell am I naked!?" I shouted looking at my stick.

"Your outfit wasn't scanned, Only your physical body."

"Ah, yes.. I can see that.. So.. Are you an AI?"

"That is correct, I am an AI that only functions on this Neuro machine you have purchased, In fact you can't touch me." she exclaimed, Approaching the AI in curiosity I tried to touch 2B but my hand just went through.

"I can do multiple things, like download data, delete files or modify variables in real time." She continued to explain as I tried to touch her but failed.

"Are there any questions you'd like to ask?"

Now that I have come here I am wondering what happened to my real body. "What happened to my real body?" I asked.

"You don't move" 2B flatly said. "For a fully immersed virtual experience, all your body function has been channeled to your virtual avatar. No matter what you do in here. Fight, dance etc, your body would remain still."

"Then does that mean all my body flow and nervous system has been transferred here?"

"Yes, however, all your autonomic nervous system remains fully operational, like the bodily fluid and digestive system are still active."

That answer as to what happened to my body, but.. 'Can I feel pain in this.. Reality?'

"Can I feel pain in virtual reality?"

"Yes, you can feel pain."

"Virtual Machine Pro3XT is made specifically to the point where you can feel pain in virtual reality, for example if your wounds are too severe your Avatar will die. But dying in the game is not connected to real life."

"More real than reality huh?" I exclaimed.

"Exactly."

This is.. beyond impossible, this world is more advanced than the novel said, maybe the Cohen family improves all the lifestyles and technology of the people.

I almost forgot, how do I leave or download games here. I was so excited to hop in the machine I forgot to research on how to do it.. But can 2B answer this for me.

"2B, How can I download apps and other games here?"

"You can just tell me what app you want to download and I'll automatically download it. As for how you can leave, you just need to say *Disconnect* out loud."

'That's very useful and easy' I thought to myself. "Can you help me find a game that helps me train to fight?"

"Of course" she replied and went silent for a few seconds. "I found a game that will help you get used to the excessive movements in a game.. should I download it?"

"Yes! Please do." I replied in enthusiasm.

"The game called Smash Bros, the game will be installed in a few minutes, I will inform you when it's ready, do you have any more questions?"

"Ah, there's none."

I hope that the ability I received from Argonistimatem will be useful in the game 2B choose for me.

I still don't know how it works, I hope I found out soon enough since YGGDRASIL will be released next week.

Speaking of YGGDRASIL, I hope that I meet all the original members of the Ainz Ooal Gown, since there's no specific information of how Momonga got transported to the new world.

So that only leaves me with one option, by finding the original members and being one of the founders of the guild.

"The game has been installed, Do you want me to start it?"

"Please do."

"Launching game.. in 3 2 1.."

2B counted as I preferred myself as my surroundings began to crumble and turned to a gladiator arena.

After the arena fully materialized, A prompt appeared.

I tapped the tutorial, and medieval clothes started to materialize in my body.

[Would you like to start the tutorial?]

"Yes"

[Please choose a weapon.

I clicked melee and many melee weapons appeared: sword, scythe, mace and other melee weapons.

I'll check every weapon later to see what suits me better but first.

I chose a scythe and the weapon started to materialize itself out of thin air, and I grabbed it.

"Damn, I knew it looked cool on me."

I swung the scythe to the side and felt something odd. The weight of the weapon that is supposed to be heavy is not heavy or light, the weight of it is just right for me it's like I'm swinging a stick.

I think the game has a function where weight adjusts itself based on its user comfortability so that it can be swung easily.

After choosing a weapon another prompt appeared.
