97 Chapter 97_ Development

On a good sunny day, a player with the vibe of adventure radiates around him. There's also a glint of excitement in his eyes. Haster headed to the entrance of the palace. Of course, a guard NPC blocked his way.

"I was recommended by Sir Anesito." Haster showed the gold coin to the guard. The guard examined it closely before responding politely to Haster, "If you go to the hall over there, the knight's commander will be present."

He quickly moved to where the guard pointed. Since he was really intrigued about the quest, he decided to get the most he could get out of it.

"If Sir Chucksley likes me, can I really get a hidden class?"

'Wow, it is gorgeous.' Haster glanced around and marveled at the place while murmuring to himself. The main hall where the king stayed was different from the corridor. The splendor that couldn't be seen in reality was in the corridor. The main hall was just a huge space where the corridor ended.

Unlike the ornate corridor, the main hall looked crude and undecorated. There was a staircase at the end of the huge space, and a throne was at the top of the staircase. Naturally, the throne room wasn't his destination but the abode where Chucksley was currently located.

"Hmm, to think that you could get the recognition from my old friend."

A while after his encounter with him, Chucksley examined Haster's physique after the latter showed the gold coin. Seeing that he was being examined, Haster replied.

"I've earned his recognition after completing his request. Anyway, it's my pleasure to meet the kingdom's knight commander.'

At first glance, it was a very straightforward and rude remark. However, Sir Chucksley had a typical warrior's spirit and was different. He accepted Haster's words, "Okay. I'll give you a high evaluation just for that attitude. If I'm satisfied with your talent, providing you with high evaluations won't be a problem."

As Haster was proceeding to the next scenario of his quest, something unexpected happened. A white haired teenager had entered the abode of Chucksley. 

"Would you mind if I'll…"

As Lexus, the king of this kingdom was about to convey his words casually, he stopped as he saw that Chucksley was currently talking with someone.

Just then, Lexus notices the ID name above his head and recognize who Haster is. The player who was supposedly the owner of the unique class, Red Sage. The legacy left behind by the former 1st knight of the Saharan Empire before Mercedes. Haster is one of the Five Miracle Players who always surpasses Morpheus prediction.

Not what's the Five Miracle Players? The Five Miracles are players who repeatedly cause results that even Morpheus could not predict by their actions. That is why they are called miraculous beings. Morpheus analyzes the skill tree, items possessed and accumulated battle data, but he cannot be sure it is accurate. Not once have they made his analysis meaningful. The actions of the five miracle players are always unexpected.

The presence of the Five Miracles is even able to stimulate Great Demon Baal's interest, as he sense that they will soothe his tedium. As the presence equipped with the most advanced artificial intelligence, Baal experienced the first 'tedium' of all virtual creatures in Satisfy and pursues 'entertainment.' It will happen again and again, and Baal creates all sorts of variables in particular related to the Five Miracles. 

So who are these players? He might not have encountered them yet but Lexus knew them all since they are exceptionally strong and they will all possess Hidden Classes.

The first one is Greed, the First Legendary class user. Agnus, the one who does not want strength, power, or wealth but the Baal's Contractor of this era. Hurent, the one who will become the Legendary Aura Master in the near future. Kraugel, the current number one player and will soon achieve the status of a Sword Saint and lastly, Haster. 

"It seems like I'm disturbing you guys so I guess I'll take my leave."

As Lexus was about to head out, Chucksley rapidly stopped him from doing so.

"You don't have to leave your majesty. I'll honor your presence since I know you're also curious of what is happening."

He said with a smile. Listening to Chucksley, Lexus activated the Dragon's Eye out of curiosity to see the essence in the surroundings that isn't visible with the naked eye.

'Oho, a hidden quest that leads to a hidden class.'

The eyes of the ultimate beings that seek the truth of the world penetrated even the system that is with the players. One of the reasons why dragons were supreme.

'Since I am now a myth, is it possible to leave a legendary legacy of mine?'

As Lexus was wondering about this, he heard the voice of Madra through Sage Link.

But since he has already acquired those nine in a unique method, Lexus is already qualified to leave his own legacy. As he really knows the merits of obtaining the legacy of a legend since it helped him grew at this point, Lexus also wanted to have something like the class of Pagma's Successor.

Of course, its not just a decision in his whim. In the novel, Haster is one of the characters to possess a very incredible talent and abilities. "His Majesty is here. He already knows you are an adventurer, so you don't have to be very polite," Sir Chucksley gives advice after bowing to Lexus. Of course, he also explained why Haster was here and all the related details about the gold coin.

Listening to the overall story, Lexus understands what's this is about and it intrigued him. He then spoke towards Haster with keen interest.

"Hmm, you two were probably about to have a match but how about we do this. Instead of fighting him, why not fight me since I'm still not satisfied after I knocked that Dulandal guy out of consciousness.

His voice overwhelmed the space. Haster felt his body stiffen on its own. His body wasn't moving.

Lexus slowly stretched out his wooden stick when he noticed Haster had moved back. Haster saw his's posture and also took a unique stance with his longsword on his shoulder.

Haster responded to Lexus' remark, "You're really amazing and strong but I'm weak. Nevertheless I'll prove it from now on."

This wasn't a good opponent to draw things out with for a long time. It was best to be short and bold, showing off everything he could do.

Lexus smiled at Haster. "Then come at me first."

His heart was beating wildly. He took deep breaths. This power had to be used in the spar against Lexus.

Chameleon.

In an instant, Haster's figures began to fade. It was the result of activating the unique skill he has obtained after completing a hidden quest, that allows him to perfectly blend in his surrounding.

The longsword on Haster's shoulder was swung out. It moved like lightning toward Lexus' shoulder. Every time the sword passed, the air cried out. It was like the hiss of a snake.

The serpent was trampled on and crushed by the branch of an ent. Lexus' wooden stick moved quietly. Naturally, it deflected Haster's sword.

Haster injected magic power into his longsword. He was going to suppress Lexus with force. Yet once Lexus injected a bit of strength into his wooden stick, Haster was thrown back without any power.

Lexus smiled when he saw Haster. He read Haster's intentions.
