6 Rescue (4)

Johnathan taking out a water bottle from his bag, threw it as far and as hard as he could. Just as they planned, when the water bottle hit the ground it made a loud sound. The four boys then heard multiple foot steps heading towards the direction of where Johnathan threw the water bottle.

The boys then smiled before walking further up but when they did a zombie was in front of them. The zombie was walking towards the sound of the waters bottle, but because of the boys' impatience, they ran into it. Johnathan quickly pulled out his knife and stabbed it in the head. Making sure it didn't fall, Ivan held it and laid it softly on the ground.

Danny then made sure to look around to make sure that the situation that happened doesn't happen again.

"The coast is clear"

Hearing Danny say that, made the boys sigh in relief. Thankfully killing the zombie didn't attract anymore. Climbing one more stair, the group had finally reached the ground floor of the station. Looking around, Johnathan saw tens of zombies around the area the water bottle hit.

"Lets get the fuck outta here"

The other happily agreed and followed Johnathan to the exit. Carefully walking forward, the group had finally made it to the exit door. Johnathan tried silently opening it but when he did, it made a loud sound making all the zombies turn their heads.

Looking at the group, the zombies salivated and started marching towards them.

"Fuck, lets go" Johnathan said in worry as he and the rest of the boys ran out of the station.

Aa they were running, Danny picked Ash up as he was lagging behind. The group ran until they reached a small alley way. Walking through it, they quickly reached the end. At the end of the tunnel was a bike store and a little further down a convivence store. The boys smiled as they were able to not only get a bike, but potentially restock their supplies.

Walking a couple meters ahead, the boys reached the bike store. Opening the door, the boys flinched as they heard a jingle. However, the sudden noise didn't stop them from entering. Walking inside, Johnathan noticed plenty of bikes that seemed fast and sturdy enough for them to ride.

"We should split up. We can cover the store faster"

Hearing Danny's idea, Ivan quickly rejected it saying "Have you ever seen a horror movie. Whenever they split up, they die. And I'm not trying to die".

Johnathan let out a small chuckle before agreeing to Ivan. There was no way in hell that Johnathan wanted to split up and potentially die in a bike store.

"Fine"

Danny had gave in and agreed to moving as a group. So that's what they did. They walked around the store together and picked the bikes they liked the most. Minutes after picking their bikes, they were finally ready to leave the store. As they walked from a different route than they took to get to the aisle, Ash pointed out something that worried them. Dried up blood.

The group knowing that there was a zombie in this store, turned their guards up. They had become to relaxed when they entered the store. Walking towards the blood and turning the corner, they saw the body of not a human, but a zombie.

Sighing, the boys let down their guards, but before they knew it, a dart was flying their way. The dart hit the wall that was beside Johnathan. Luckily the person who threw it missed him, or it could've done some serious damage.

Turning around, the boys saw a middle aged man with short dirty blond hair and a small beard. The man was wearing a black jacket and black cargo pants. In his hands were three more darts and a bat with nails in them.

"Who are you kids and what are you doing in my store" A quiet deep voice, rang throughout the silent store.

The situation they were in gave quite the scare, only for a second though. They had been through a lot more terrifying situations that day. Talking with a guy who killed a zombie was not scary in any way. For that reason not even Ash was intimidated.

"We were looking for bikes"

Hearing Johnathan's calm voice shocked the man. In front of him were four young kids. He on the other hand was taller, and even had weapons in his hands. With one even covered in dry blood. Sighing, the man put down his weapons and spoke.

"Why. Do you guys know how dangerous it is out there?" The man asked the kids who he thought were mentally not there.

How could he not. If kids came to your store looking to ride bikes in an apocalypse, would you not think they were crazy? Everyone would. "Of course we know. We just came from outside, how could we not. We just need bikes to get around faster",

Looking at Ivan the man shook his head. "You guys understand that bikes make noise when you ride them right. They will come after you if they hear the bike. It wont be safe."

"What does our safety have to do with you"

"Listen boy. I'm not one of those monsters out there. I'm human just like you, and I don't want some little kid to die when I know I could've stopped it"

"B-"

"Ivan, he's right. We didn't think of how much noise it would make. Plus if we rescue our family members how are we going to ride our bikes. We cant just let them walk. And don't bring up a car. That's even worse than riding a bike"

Listening to Johnathan, Ivan backed down. Johnathan then looked at the man, who he thought would most likely not have ate the crystal. Walking towards him, he put out his hand. The man seeing this, did the same.

They shook hands and introduced themselves. Enemies were never good in an apocalypse. Especially those who you don't know about. Johnathan didn't know whether this man ate a crystal, and if he did, how many? For all he knows, the man could've ate ten. And if he did, they would all most likely die. That scenario was crossed out for time being, as the man himself stated he 'didn't' want them to die.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Johnathan"

"Pleasure Johnathan. My names Mark"

After their quick introductions, Johnathan gestured to the other to move forward and introduce themselves. The other did as Johnathan said, and once they were done with introductions they followed Mark, who told them he had an apartment above the store.

However, before they could move, everyone in the store received a notification on their phones. Taking out his phone, Johnathan looked at the notification that read {Alert}

[Everybody reading this. The world is undergoing an apocalypse. We advise everyone to stay on guard and to try and make their way to a nearby army base. This is not a joke, nor a nightmare.
