THREE

Three

The Shop was almost full the moment we stepped in. luckily, there are still 3 vacant seats in the same row, seems that the seats we're destined to be ours. We paid for an hour of gaming. We are fond of playing the game: Warcraft 3. Our time was spent killing our enemies in the game and ended up as a winning team. Well, not to boast but, we usually win in a 3v5 game. I don't know why but maybe, our trio can beat a team of five. It's just we're really drawn into the game that we really made an effort to learn the ins and outs of the game, including the tricks. That was fun.

"So, where are we gonna go next?" Carlo asked, stretching his arms.

"You better ask, where you and Luigi will go next because I'm going home." I said calmly.

"What the?" Luigi said.

"Yeah, what you have just heard is true. I still have some things to do at home. I'm tired of being beaten just because I skipped doing those commands." I said sarcastically

"Well, I think me and my brother would better go home if you're not with us. We can't laugh a lot without you." Carlo said.

"Yeah. I think so." I said.

We parted ways. They went home and so did I to face the things that a kid must live with. COMMANDS.

Upon reaching home, it's the usual thing I used to do every 11:30 in the morning, cook some rice is my motto. Fortunately, we have a rice cooker to make cooking rice easy for me. So I just have to make sure the measure of the water is right with that of the rice, dry the pot with a dry cloth, put it in the cooker, and let the cooker worry on how it will cook the rice in its own electrical way. It takes 30 minutes for the cooker to finish cooking rice for me and my family. Then lunch came, where every member of the family goes together, prepare together, eat together but, I wash the dishes, alone.

We all reclined at the table to eat our festive feast for that Saturday lunch time. After a short period of solemn quietness, Mom broke the silence.

"How's your grades Ian, are they fine?" Mom asked, speculating

"I hope so, I mean, I think so." I said while fixing my gaze towards my food

"They should be fine or else, you're father will be upset with you." Mom said in a reminding tone and slightly in a tone that gives precaution.

"All I can say is that I'm giving my best that's all" I said.

"Mom, what time will you go home after your Bible study?" Dad asked, trying to break the topic about grades.

"I think we'll be here by 7 or 6:30." Mom said.

"Alright. Are you bringing Ian with you?" Dad asked

"Yes." Mom confirmed

"Mom, how about tomorrow? Are we gonna have a service to church?" my sister asked.

"Yes, because the bible study members are coming with us so we need to have one." Mom said.

"I'll go first in the morning mom. I'll attend the morning service." My brother Wendell said.

"Okay Del. Just come with us when we go home so you don't have to waste money on your way home. Is that okay?" Mom asked

"Yes. Thanks mom." My brother said with a smile.

After their talks about tomorrow, silence had its grip again until we finish eating.

"Ian, it's your turn to wash the dishes." My sister said

"Yes I know. You don't have to remind me." I said with a slight upset tone

"I'm just reminding you, in case you forgot." She answered.

I started to clean up the table and gather the plates and utensils to be washed. Well, I'm really sick of doing this every weekend. I love weekends but, my sister really likes to destroy every bit of my weekend by telling me those do-this-do-that's. Me and my sister are really not in good terms especially when she's telling me to do something even though I'm still doing something that she told me to do earlier. I hate it. I really hate it. There had been also a time when, due to my impulsive nature, I shouted in front of her. She was stunned for a moment, shocked by what I did and said. I rushed my way to finish this washing-the-dishes task because I'm really sick tired of this so I can sleep. After a few minutes, I'm done. So I went to my room immediately and relaxed myself by closing my eyes to enter dreamland.
