Mysterious land

I am exhausted, I feel like I might collapse at any moment. Despite its frail state and lack of energy, my body somehow manages to keep standing on its delicate legs, as if driven by some unseen force that sustains and steadies me from falling.

The dark circles under my eyes are a clear indication of the sleepless nights I have been experiencing. My eyelids feel heavy and exhausted, constantly seeking a moment of rest. The weariness I feel in every fibre of my being is almost overwhelming.

Although I am in such a condition, it would not have much value if considering the situation I am in.

Currently, I'm going through the most vital moments ever since I came into this world, life is taking a turning point and I am here, present and alive, bearing witness to a turning point that I have been anticipating for my entire existence.

I am here attending as a person to watch all of this with my own two eyes and before me lies a mysterious place that holds the key to my future, the very thing that will determine the course of my remaining days.

That's why I looked at every corner of this mysterious place with full curiosity and excitement, I started to examine everything in front of me.

"Can you see this incredible place? I am the owner of this place." I shout it loudly with clear excitement on my face.

Still, no matter how many times I have seen this place, it never fails to astound me. Everything about this place is new to me. When I first saw it, I hardly believed it was real and thought I was still in a dream.

In recent days, I have repeatedly seen the same things in my dreams and the scenes feel too real but eventually, I wake up.

Perhaps this is the main reason for me to consider this situation as one of the imagination at first, but even after waiting for a long time, I did not wake up. A thought came into my mind that it might not be a dream but rather, real.

Even though this place doesn't feel real, it is difficult to deny the reality of what is in front of me. I realized that this place is not a mere fantasy but a concrete reality.

Despite its surreal and otherworldly appearance, I know that it is real and not just a fragment of my imagination In fact I discovered this place is not even on earth.

This is a small space with a radius of a hundred feet, called a dungeon and this dungeon is completely isolated from Earth which means you can also tell that this is not a place on Earth, things here are completely different from Earth.

The whole dungeon is surrounded by a thick fog that acts like a fence to prevent you from going out. If you look up a bit you will notice that the sky here is different from Earth Instead of blue The sky here is dark and full of countless tiny sparkling stars. Although this place is as bright as a sunny day, there is no trace of the sun here.

The most unfortunate thing is that the land in the dungeon is dry and bare. You will not find trees, grass or any kind of greenery in this place, it's full of only dry soil.

Maybe it's just my imagination but this place looks like it was once a beautiful land full of green plants and grass but without any care, this place slowly turned into a wasteland.

Even though it is a beautiful place but l can still feel empty and loneliness from here.

[ I am very sorry to show you such a scene ]

" Why are you apologizing to me? It's not like I am complaining about this place."

"Even if I have something that I didn't like but as a creator of this place I am not the one who can complain"

If my guess is right then this place became like this because when the dungeon was at the beginning phase it took the form of my mental image.

"I am grateful to have such a great ability. You won't find a place as safe as this one in the days of the apocalypse. Where no one can enter or leave without my permission."

Honestly, this place is like heaven for a coward like me who considers his own safety to be his top priority. Here I can build my little house, which I have dreamed for a long time and with my abilities as a dungeon lord here I can grow vegetables and fruits. I can turn this into an ideal place for myself. It can bring an end to all my struggling

Well, I have very little power outside of this dungeon, It's not like that I want to be a hero and save everyone or want to be a king and dominate everyone.

I already suffered enough in this cruel society and I don't want to experience it again. I don't know about others, for me just a place that is far away from this world is enough. where I can lead a relaxed and enjoyable life.

A few hours ago in a certain place,

" Where am I"? 

I opened my eyes to see what was ahead but I couldn't see things very clearly due to blurred vision.I rubbed it as I expected a better version but the condition did not improve much

Aaaa! I quickly put a hand on my forehead and blinked really hard as a reflection of a sudden pain in my head.

"I don't know where I am and other hand this headache is killing me."

I still remember the events of that night vividly. It was well past midnight when I finally finished work and dragged myself home, exhausted. I remember struggling to put the key into the lock, my hands shaking from fatigue. And then everything went black. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in a strange place.

Although my vision is cloudy, it doesn't take long to realise that I'm not in my own room. In fact, I have no idea where I am. The scene is very unfamiliar, and I can't remember ever being there before.

"Then where the hell I am? And how did I end up here? "

"Am I the middle of a dream?

No! I am so sure that it's not a dream. The pain I feel is a real deal."

Suddenly a mysterious voice came to my ears. 

 [Welcome to the dungeon]

"Who's there "? I Instantly looked around but I couldn't see anyone except me. "Did I hear it wrong then"? 

I still took a chance and said with a trembling tone " Is there anyone here?

"Can please come out"?

[ This request can't be fulfilled since I don't have any physical body yet ]

"Huh!"There is indeed someone, I didn't mishear.

But request! physical body! what is he talking about? Well, what does it have to do with me I just have to quickly find a way to go out. I don't have time I am already dead busy, if I don't go to work then I will get into big trouble.

After a lot of effort, I got this part-time job my hand even though the boss has a trashy personality but at last I could earn a little more money than in other previous works I did. If I fired from here then how would I fill interest money in this month?

"Ok, then can you at last tell me where I am and how can I go out of this place? "

This place is an artificial space, really...? well, I agree that this place somehow looks that but on top of this is made by me, who would believe in this sort of bullshit?

[ Although you try to deny but it is true, this whole space including myself is created by your ability dungeon lord. ]

" You can even read my mind "

 [ I can because we are now connected ]

[You can ask me anything about the dungeon]

Okay, so you want to tell me that all of these are created by my abilities. 

[Yes..., a few hours ago during the awakening process you received this power because of that ability this dungeon came into existence.]

"Wait! Wait! Wait! awakening, superpower! These words are very familiar, it is a lot like the dreams that are seen frequently these days"

[ From what I can tell from your memories they are not all lies, maybe they are scenes from the future.]

I am stunned after hearing this, I was not ready to hear this." Huh...? You are kidding me, right? "

Because if this is true then today is the first day of the apocalypse and I have only a few hours to prepare.
