Kerl and Skrod felt their thoughts clench before the goblin's objecting hand. 

Rizz pinched the base upper base of his long nose. "I get it. You two are determined to auction yourselves off before your old men do the same. Now give me a second to think for myself!"

The kneeling men nodded in silence. Though Kerl's lips could no longer form a smile nor a frown, Skrod was beaming with heavy arrogance, which Rizz could never picture coming from a man offering himself up as a slave. 

That boastful grin only made Rizz's brain hurt more. A tempest of intrusive and unobtrusive thoughts roiled with mind-numbing speeds. 

*I know slavery wasn't legal during my game days! There were way too many quests that proved it,* Rizz hastily calculated. *But if it's legal now, and they're offering themselves… I kinda want to take the deal.
