7 Chapter 7 : End of the Beginning, Beginning of the End

"Welcome to the place where your wish will come true" a warm welcome was given by 'him'.

'Another strange one, I've got here'

"So, who are you?" Leo asked.

"You don't need to know right now, you'll eventually know 'soon', for now call me 'Grim' also you chose the right decision to go here alone" Grim answered.

"Why is that?" Leo's brow arched.

"Well, I just need one person to enter the 'door', if all of you had entered, only one would remain alive, the rest will be killed" Grim explained.

"What do you mean?"

"it is exactly what I mean, let's get down to business" Grim threw the scythe he' holding to Leo, he instructed to pick it up.

"Why do yo want me to pick it?" Leo for the fourth time, asked again.

"No more questions, pick it up already and fight me, more like kill me" Grim made a fighting stance.

Leo picked up the scythe, then without much thought, Leo rushed forward, swung the scythe, Grim stepped back evading the attack, Leo quickly followed Grim, Leo raised the scythe then he smites Grim, Grim evaded, then he ducked in pulled his right and landed a punch to Leo's abdomen. Leo groaned in agony, he spitted some blood and fell on his knee.

"You need to do more than that" Grim said.

Leo propped the scythe and stood up, "Shut up!" Leo once again, attacked Grim, Leo's repeated attacked pattern became predictable, so Grim could easily dodge his attacks

"You need to think things through, you don't attack thoughtlessly, do you know that, that scythe weighs 10 kilograms? But you're swaying it like it's some toy, why do you think is the reason?" said Grim whilst dodging Leo's assault.

"I don't need to know!!" Leo's hardwork came in fruition, he consistently led Grim to dodge and stepped backwards, so Grim would hit the wall. Grim has nowhere to run, cornered by Leo, an attack coming at Grim, "I've got you now!!" the attack will hit Grim, "I don't think so" in that moment, Grim went low and aimed for Leo's footing, Leo jumped, he let go of the scythe since it got stuck on the wall, he took out the shovel he's carrying inside the baggage, "Like I said! I've got you now!!!"

*Baaag*

The loud creaking of bones resonated inside the door, as Leo landed a hard hit on Grim's skull face.

Grim didn't made sound when hit but instead he was grinning, "What are you waiting for? You're not gonna kill me?" Grim asked.

"No, I won't" Leo opposed.

"You'll do it because I know you and it is your fate to kill me, so just get over with it and do it!" Grim insisted as he smiled.

"You're talking nonsense again! But if you insist then I won't be able to hold back myself" Leo holding back his desire, let out a wide grin.

"That's right, you should never hide your true colors" Grim burst into laughter.

Leo plucked the scythe on the wall, he pointed the sharp end of the scythe at Grim's chest, then Leo slowly thrust the scythe. Grim hold the scythe's blade and pushed the blade down his chest.
