~The Test~

The day had finally come for me to take my test to see if I would be able to get into the Levi squad. One thing for sure that I knew is I wasn't worried. You would think I would be but from being number one in my class I was pretty confident.

Y/N POV

Once I had gotten to the training grounds I could see Levi and his squad. What I was surprised by was seeing Commander Erwin Smith there. In my head I was thinking 'Is he here to see me do my test. What if I fail right in front of him.' I looked up to him, just like he could read my mind he said "If you are wondering why I am here it is because I want to see you in action, after all, I have heard good things about you."

I was shocked he came here to see me in action now I knew I could not let the commander down if he came to see here to see me. He continued "I have heard you are top of your class and what caught my interest was that Levi was going to give you a chance he never gives anyone a chance or even a glance."

(just noticed that rhymes look at me go 😊🤗😛 )

I was ready to take the test it was pretty simple. It was just for them to see how fast I can go and how many kills I can get and how I maneuver. To other people it would be easy but for me I was a little nervous because I had the practically the best of the best of the Scout Regiment looking at me. I then got snapped out of my little world when the commander said

"You may now start doing the test. Remember this test is to see how you are with the maneuver gear and how fast you can go in a short amount of time you will have. This is also to see how you act under pressure and see how you work."

Once he told me that in some weird way I felt better that's when he shouted " 3...2...1... GO! " As soon as he said that I rushed into the the forest. The more I went in deeper the forest the more it got harder to maneuver. Though for me it was still easy I then started to cut the fake dummies napes. I made sure to cut deep enough to "kill" it.

I used my top speed but I used my power that I had without the maneuver gear all I really had to do was to help me was by pushing off from tree to tree with my foot. I could see the end, so this time to go a tiny bit faster I used more gas and it did help cutting the remaining dummies napes.

(Wait gonna put a little bit of Levi POV 😗🤗😛 )

Levi POV

As I watched her start I was amazed on how she went so fast and was able to cut napes with top speed. I could tell one thing for sure she made sure not to use to much gas and she used raw strength I could see that. "She's good isn't she." "Huh what do you mean eyebrows?"

"Even if your face shows nothing but a blank look, you can see it in your eyes that you are amazed or more like impressed." He wasn't wrong there but I didn't want to admit it. "No eyebrows I don't know what your talking about." " Ok I won't push you anymore but I know you don't want to admit it no lets go meet her at the finish line."

Once we made to the end of the forest I could see her. This time she went faster I was guessing she used more gas to go faster towards the end. I had to tell her though she was in and her little problem I had with her maneuvering.

~Y/N POV~

Once I crossed the last bit of the forest, and making it out of there I made my way to the commander and captain Levi. When I reached them I saw they had shocked faces well more the commander, but captain Levi just had his usual stoic face so it was hard to see what he was thinking about.

Levi had come up to me and said "We need to talk real quick." I followed him he told me "You did good but I need to talk to you about the foot work you use." "Ok what about it?" "You need to be careful if you do that as in keep pushing with really hard force on the tree and your foot you could sprain it. Other than that you did good and you will be joining my squad."

Then he left me I was shocked but happy at the same time. The commander came up to me and said "You did really good welcome to the Scouts and as Levi may have told you, you will be in his squad also start packing tomorrow you will come with us to HQ." At that I saluted him and waited for him to dismiss me when he did I set of to my room and started packing.

I realized I had forgotten to sent a letter to Eren and Mikasa. When I finished writing the letter I noticed the time and it was late but I couldn't sleep, so I went downstairs to get some tea. Tea helped me go to sleep I don't know why maybe the smell or the taste but it did the job. When I made my self a cup of tea I could hear someone coming down.

I look behind me and it was captain Levi I was surprised seeing him up at this hour. "Brat what are you doing up at this hour?" "Sorry captain I was writing a letter to my family because I had forgotten to before and I couldn't sleep, but tea helps me sleep."

"Well brat you should be going to sleep now we have to get up really early tomorrow." "Ok sorry again captain." "Tsk I told you when were alone drop the formalities just call me Levi" "Ok well goodnight Levi." "Night brat." Well I guess I am going to have to get use to being called brat oh well I headed up to my room and as soon as I closed my eyes I fell asleep.
