1 I am free

"Let's end this."

I don't even gave an explanation. I just wanted our 2-year-relationship to end in just 2 seconds. He was so dumbfounded. I knew he wanted to ask why, but I turned around and walked away quickly.

At last, I am free. I didn't even notice that I am crying until someone handed me some tissue. But, these tears.... These are tears of joy! Finally, I was able to tell him those words I have kept for so long..

I keep myself busy without even realizing that it has been 6 months since I broke up with Rob. I keep on changing jobs and apartments so he can never show himself in front of me. This is my 4th job since that day. And finally, I was able to enjoy my salary for myself!

Just when I thought that I was finally free, he suddenly appeared in front of me out of nowhere!

"Lys, let's talk.", he sounded so calm but he's grabbing my arm so tight like it would burst any time. I tried to shrug his hands off me but he just tightened his grip more.

"We have nothing to talk about." I tried to show him that he cannot hurt me with his grip.

"I am still looking for a job and I am out of money. Lys, do me a favor. Refer me to the company you are working for, even just for a low position." I thought I heard it wrong, but it sounded like he is bossing me around.

I just looked at him sternly and shrug his hands off me with all the strength I have.

"You can apply if you want, but I will not refer someone like you."

I was about to leave when he suddenly kneeled down in front of so many people, and shouted "Marry me, Lys."

"Are you an idiot? Why would I marry you?" I am really loosing my cool at this point. I should have just left the moment I shrugged his hands off.

"Say YES, Say YES, say YES, say YES!" the crowd is cheering for me to answer. I was racking my brain how to get away with this stupid situation.

THUD!

I fell unconscious to the ground, and I hope that this plan will work...
