132 First date. (Part 2)

Li Hwa blushed when Aaron openly confessed to her.

"And I have learned today that you also have feelings for me."

"I have feelings for you too, Aaron. These feelings, I know I like you and every day seems like its ever closer to loving you. But I don't know. I don't know what the future will have in store if I accept your feelings. I have so many thoughts going through my head of all the things that could happen in our circumstance. Who knows if it will end up as one of them." Said looking away from Aaron.

The atmosphere seemed sombre.

Li Hwa was hesitating, whether should she take the hand that Aaron extended to her.

She doesn't know what to do.

Her life isn't just hers anymore there is also Yong-Hyeon.

She also needs to think about her son's future not just her own.

Today, Aaron revealed many things about himself.

To Li Hwa, Aaron is like a prince!

And she a commoner who dreams to be with the prince.

There is a 5 year age gap between the two of them and Aaron is the younger one between the two of them.

Aaron is from the prestigious Blood family, one of the 23 Sacred Noble families and Clans.

Also, she is a single mother.

People are bound to talk about them.

She'll be in the spotlight of millions if she enters a relationship with Aaron.

Her son, Yong-Hyeon will also be in the spotlight too.

The pressure is huge on her shoulder, now that she knows much more about Aaron.

Seeing, that Li Hwa is taking some time to think.

Aaron wanted to tell her a few things.

He wanted to tell her about his friends that support him, his sister who gave her blessing and his mother that is willing to embrace him. He knows that it would be hard for him to convince his father but he didn't care.

Aiden is a stubborn old man, Aaron has to fight with his father for his approval. Even if his father doesn't approve of this relationship, Aaron doesn't care about that old man's feelings.

He loves his father but his father is a stubborn jackass!

Aaron was about to say something but Li Hwa spoke first.

"I don't want to lie to you, Aaron. So please be honest with me too!"

Aaron nodded hearing Li Hwa.

"Yong-Hyeon is my best friend's son. She passed away from cancer. She didn't have anyone else besides me and my grandmother. I promised her, that I will love Yong-Hyeon as my own before she passed away. That's how Yong-Hyeon became my son."

Hearing Li Hwa Aaron nodded.

'Not much of a big deal who cares! I love you, Li Hwa!' Aaron said in his mind.

Aaron was a bit surprised by this revelation but didn't think much of an issue with it.

"I'm sorry for your loss!" Said Aaron feeling sorry.

In return, Li Hwa gave Aaron a sad smile.

"Still, nothing will change my feelings for you. I care about you, Li Hwa! That little guy, Yong-Hyeon maybe a devil in disguise inside of a 7-year-old kid, but I like him too. Not as much as I like you though, Haha." Aaron tried to liven up the mood.

"I know, Li Hwa. I will try my best, just give us a chance. Please!"

"I know about your worries and everything. I'm worried too! But we will not know unless if we give ourselves a chance. Speculating what might happen in the future from ideas that we form from our negative thoughts are our fears playing with us."

"Tell me then, why are you hesitating too much?" Asked Aaron holding both of Li Hwa's hands firmly in his.

"..."

"I-..." Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes, Li Hwa thought for some moments.

'Yeah, exactly why am I hesitating? Why am I trying to find an excuse to reject him so much? I know my feelings, they yearn for his love. I like him, yes, then why?'

She couldn't think of any answer.

Aaron is right, her fears were clouding her thoughts.

Insecurities about herself, the fears of commitment and abandonment were making her hesitate to move forward.

'I'm really an idiot thinking only negative thoughts about this relationship, fears are common and can be overcome! So why hesitate?'

Li Hwa thought more about it.

After thinking for some time, she opened her eyes and looked at those beautiful mesmerising light green eyes of Aaron.

She tightened the hold on her hands that Aaron was holding.

"I will give us a chance then. I hope you won't disappoint me, Aaron!"

Giving a bright smile to Aaron and forgetting her previous worries, she looked forward to what the future has stored for her.

Whether it be good or bad, she doesn't know unless she takes the first step forward towards it.

Even if her road to forward, is full of obstacles and thorns. She believes in herself and she believes in Aaron that they might somehow make it through.

She doesn't know Aaron for that much longer but the Aaron she knows is confident, loving and will walk alongside her shoulder to shoulder together no matter what.

*ba dum*

Aaron's heart skipped a beat hearing Li Hwa.

{In the clubhouse, Nyx jumped suddenly in joy on behalf of Aaron as he doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of Li Hwa.}

Giving a brilliant smile to Li Hwa, Aaron replied tightening his grip on Li Hwa's hand.

"I will never disappoint you, Li Hwa. I promise in the name of 'Darkness'"

At Sabastian's apartment.

Four people were in front of a laptop.

They were Erisviel, Aurora, Sabastian and Yong-Hyeon.

The four were watching Aaron and Li Hwa inside the restaurant holding hands smiling to each other.

It was actually, Erisviel who was curious that she made a drone follow Aaron and Li Hwa to get a live feed of their date.

Then Sabastian found out about it and the two were watching it until Aurora and Yong-Hyeon joined.

"Tsk... I will make his life a living hell!" Seeing Aaron holding her mother's hand, Yong-Hyeon clicked his tongue feeling jealous.

'Why should mom love this dude? Mom has me!' Yong-Hyeon said in his mind.

But there was a slight smile on his face watching her mother happy with Aaron.

"Well, there goes one! So now seven more left in our misfit gang. Dammit, I want a girlfriend too!!!" Sabastian said, seeing her best friend Aaron being happy.

"I hope this guy doesn't skip work from now or else I will behead him someday!" With a neutral voice, Erisviel said.

It sounded so scary, that it sent a chill down the spine of the people near her.

Even Yong-Hyeon found Erisviel scary, even though it was a joke.

'She isn't scary but a pretty sister with a neutral face but she is scary nonetheless in some way!' Yong-Hyeon thought in his mind.

Aurora smiled seeing her brother being happy.

She for the first time in months, communicated through their telepathic channel and gave her blessing to Aaron.

"Best of luck, brother."

Soon a reply came from Aaron.

"Thank you, sister."
