135 Chef Takashi.

Takashi entered a small restaurant.

He was wearing casual clothes, a light blue shirt and jeans pants.

Takashi finally got his break from work.

So for the next two weeks, Takashi doesn't have any work to do.

He decided to rest for the next two weeks.

Takashi was greeted with a busy dining room. It was a surprise to him, seeing so many people at this hour in the middle of the week as it was typically only this busy on weekends.

The restaurant had an open kitchen. There were only twelve tables in the restaurant, all of them were occupied and many people were standing waiting for a table to be free.

Some customers even asked for take-out since there are no tables and they can't wait for a table to be free.

"Taki, you're here!"

Turning to the person who called out to him, Takashi smiled.

"Grandma Hannah, how are you! I see that you have a rough day ahead of you, need any help? I'm free."

A grandma in her late 70s, wearing an apron replied to Takashi.

"Haha, my boy! I'm fine and healthy. As you can see here, even at this age I feel young and reinvigorated! Yes, if you are free and want to help out, surely an extra pair of hands will make the work-load today much easier."

Hanna had plates of food on her hand, she swiftly served the food to her customers before guiding Takashi to the back of the restaurant.

"Milady, tell me the truth! Are you tired?" Seeing the old woman taking deep breaths, Takashi asked in concern.

Smiling to the boy, Hannah only nodded.

Takashi then grabbed her hands and had her sit on a chair.

"Milady, there's no way I will send you back in there! So take rest and let me take care of everything." Taking her apron off, Takashi sternly said to the old woman.

The old woman chuckled hearing Takashi.

"Okay, okay! You can take care of everything. Thank you, dear."

"Yes, so rest now! I will go and help, those two."

Wearing the apron, Takashi went to get a glass of water for the old woman.

In Aurora's office.

There were reports on recent activities of her father on the laptop in front of her.

After going through the reports, she fell in deep thought.

Erica who was beside Aurora felt something off about her boss.

"Is there something wrong about the reports, ma'am?" She asked, snapping Aurora out of her thoughts.

"There is."

"But that's none of your concerns, Erica. We have a meeting with the COO of Arrow tech, right?" Aurora changed the topic.

"Yes, ma'am. Our CEO expect us to take at least 25% of the revenue from this deal with Arrow tech."

Aurora laughed hearing Erica.

"What a joke! My mother is asking me to rob my brother, her son. Haha! Neither Erisviel nor Aaron will agree with this.15% is the limit of what they can offer."

"I have nothing else tomorrow other than the meeting right, right?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Then prepare the papers. Inform the idiots in the office that the COO of Arrow tech has decided to arrange the meeting somewhere else, just give a name, any will do. Take the papers with you when you're going to the clubhouse and give them to Erisviel."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Hmm, since I don't have anything else to do today, I will go out shopping. I need some stuff to buy, prepare some casual clothes for me while I finish the little work I have left here."

"Any preference, ma'am?"

"No, anything will do. Just casual normal clothes that normal people wear."

Nodding to Aurora, Erica left to do the tasks that her boss has given her.

'I need to talk to Aaron about what I found! Things will get messy if Aaron finds out by himself what our father been up to these days.' Aurora thought to herself before she started to quickly finish her remaining work.

Aurora finished her shopping, everything she bought will be delivered to Sabastian's home.

But there was a small shopping bag on her hand.

Inside the bag, were presents for Nyx and Aaron.

Soon, Aurora arrived in front of a small restaurant.

"Whoa! It seems like it's packed today."

Aurora can see from the windows that there were many customers inside.

"Hope, granny saved me those limited special desserts left for me!" Praying to the goddess of luck, Aurora went inside.

Inside the restaurant, all of the tables were occupied.

Seeing that there's no seat for her, Aurora went to the back.

Arriving at the back, Aurora saw granny was sitting at a table.

"Granny, Hannah!" Aurora called out cheerfully.

"Rory!" Turning to the cheerful voice, Hannah was surprised.

"How are you, granny! I missed your food, the past couple of weeks." Aurora said, Hugging Hannah.

"I'm young as ever, haha! You should have come when you wanted to eat my food. Why didn't you? You, you're not thinking about dieting or anything and limiting your appetite, are you?"

"Hell, no! I can't leave without food. You know me and how much I love food, right? That's never going to happen. I was just busy since school is going to start soon."

"I see, then take a seat here. I will go inform them that you're here. What do you want to eat, dear?"

"Anything, you have. I'm extremely hungry!" Sitting down at the table, Aurora replied.

"Okay, then wait for your food." Getting up, Hannah went to the kitchen.

Takashi was enjoying making food.

It's the only thing he finds relaxing.

He was almost finished plating the dish, the lamb chops with fig and grape agrodolce.

Granny told Takashi to make some delicious food someone.

She said it's for a young friend of hers.

The old woman likes the girl, she helped a few times and their relationship seems to be good.

Granny asked for something special to make.

Takashi happily agreed.

Since he was having such a good time, why not?

Taking the dish, Takashi left the kitchen.

Arriving at the back, Takashi saw a beautiful young girl.

He was in a daze for a few moments by the girl's beauty, before he snapped out of it.

Walking in front of the table, Takashi put on a smile and said.

"Here's your meal, miss!"

Aurora was watching some videos on Utube when she heard the voice.

Looking up, she saw a handsome boy wearing an apron with a plate on hand.

Aurora's eyes lit up when she saw her meal.

"Wow! That looks so good and delicious, the presentation is excellent!" Commented Aurora.

The meal looked like, it was made by some fancy famous professional chef!

"Thank you for the praise, miss! This is lamb chops with figs and grape agrodolce." Takashi replied smiling, somehow he feels happy by the praise.

"Even your manners are professional! Are you new? I never saw you before here, the only cook here I know is Simon, Janet and Granny Hannah." Aurora was surprised by the young cook.

"No, I only help out when I have free time. I don't work here, one day I met Granny by chance and we hit it off with food topics. Since then I come when I have free time to spend and help out. Also, I have learned many things from Granny." Replied Takashi, explaining to Aurora.

"I see, just to confirm. This is something you made, right?"

"Yes."

"Then I will give you feedback on how it is."

"Much appreciated, miss!"

Giving a smile to Takashi, Aurora said.

"You don't have to call me, miss or anything! You can call me Rory, like Granny Hannah."

"Then I will call you, Rory. My name is Takashi, you can call me by my nickname, Kaz." Replied, Takashi. He has a favourable impression on the girl.

"So let me have a taste of your cooking!" Said Aurora, cutting a bite-size piece of the lamb chop.

With the sauce, Aurora put the piece in her mouth.

Seeing, Aurora tasting his dish. Takashi was a bit nervous.

He made food for many people, but why is he feeling nervous today with her?

'Oh, my darkness!!!' Screamed, Aurora in her mind.

Finish eating the piece, Aurora looked at Takashi and said.

"Marry me, Takashi! This is the best food I've ever tasted in my life!!! You are the best cook, no, the best chef in the world in my opinion. And trust me, I tasted a lot of food from all kinds of cuisine made by many great chefs!"

It's true, both lives combined Takashi's food was the best that Aurora had ever eaten.

Feeling extremely happy and content, Takashi replied.

"Thanks for the compliment, Rory! But I still think I lack in many areas and could have improved."

"Even still, it's the best food I've ever eaten, Kaz!"

Making small talk with Takashi, Aurora finished her food but she was still not satisfied yet.

Hearing that, Aurora is still hungry.

Takashi asked how much she eats normally.

Finding out the amount of food, Aurora eats daily?

Takashi was shocked!

He never guessed this perfect figured girl in front of him, eats so much food.

After talking to Aurora and feeling extra good today, Takashi went back to the kitchen to make more delicious food for Aurora.

After her fill, Aurora talked with Takashi more.

They both found out they were quite similar.

They didn't talk about their background or anything but themselves.

Aurora also revealed Takashi that she has a sick younger brother.

Which Takashi can relate too, as he also has a sick younger brother at home.

They had many similarities between themselves and had similar hobbies.

Hours after hours they talked about themselves and mundane concerns of day to day life.

After talking for so long, they became friends.

Aurora looked outside the window and saw it was getting late.

"I had a comfortable time with you, Takashi. It was very enjoyable to talk with you." Said giving a bright smile to Takashi.

"Me too, Rory." Nodded Takashi, he too had a great time with Aurora today and had fun cooking.

"Thank you for the meal, again. You are the greatest chef in my eyes! The food was delicious!!!" Getting up, Aurora said.

"Thank you! I find great pleasure when people enjoy my food." Takashi too got up, preparing to leave.

The two then went to inform Granny Hannah that they were leaving.

After talking with Hannah for a few minutes, they left the restaurant.

Aurora and Takashi exchanged numbers and promised to keep in touch.

"So, bye I guess." Takashi said looking at Aurora.

"Yeah, don't forget to keep in touch! It's not every day you find someone to connect with and become friends."

After saying goodbye, both of them parted ways.
