Th First story...

Dear Diary,

Life for me hasn't always been a treat. Growing up in an unstable household with an alcoholic father and an abusive mother has taught me many things...

Don't let people get too close to you or else you'll learn the truth about them and get hurt. Always keep your guard up even though you'll feel like it's safe. You'll have to protect yourself because that's what growing up in a broken household has taught me.

I've had friends who turned out to be my enemies. Tara and Jordyn were the people that I thought i could look to for comfort to tell me that everything's going to be alright even though it wasn't. Turns out that they were telling everyone about my secrets and situation. When I found out, I didn't know how to feel.

I didnt know if I should feel angry, disappointed, or scared but I felt all three. When I confronted Tara and Jordyn about it, they laughed at me and Tara said "Do you really think that we were friends with a good-for-nothing parasite like you. You'll never amount to anything in life. You'll end up just like your parents... a pathetic lowlife who is not desired by society." They laughed and walked away leaving me all alone and isolated.I can honestly say that those words have stuck with me since then and everytime I think that I can do something, those words stops me and tells me that I can't amount to anything.

That was freshman year.

So... here I am. Alexia Green. A damaged senior in high school who has nothing to look forward to in the next chapter of her life.
