Why should the company choose him?
"I asked a very simple question. Is it so hard to answer my question? " Kwan looked at the people in front of her with her cold eyes. Her face had nothing on it but her eyes had a certain chillness in it which were piercing through the souls of the people present in the room. Manager Kim came out of his shock and spoke with a shiver in his voice, his tone polite, " Director Kwan, is there some problem with the presentation? ". Kwan glanced down at the file present before her and answered in her no-nonsense voice, " The problem is with the presenter, not the presentation. The person who worked on this project and developed this idea, I want that person to present the presentation."
Manager Kim was stunned at being blatantly told that she didn't like him as the presenter. He was so stunned that he stood there with his mouth agape. Seeing the said man was too stunned, Asst. Min cleared her throat a bit audibly so he could come to his revive. Exchanging a look with asst. Min, Manager Kim too straightened himself and gave a professional smile to everyone.
He then looked towards his team and looked like his team as if asking the person in question to come out. On the other hand, the person who Kwan had asked out to come and give the presentation, was another case. The person in question was nervous in the presence of the aloof young woman sitting in the room. And now he was the one who had to present the entire presentation, he surely would faint during the entire process. But as he saw his superior eyeing him as if he did not get up this instant he would smack the shit out of him, he reluctantly stood up.
On seeing a young man in his early 20s standing awkwardly, everyone gave a sympathetic look to him. Standing there like a lost child who was scared of strangers, anyone could guess that he was hella nervous. Kwan too noticed him and could not help but sigh. He looked like a kid sent to kindergarten for the first time. She softened her tone a bit and asked him with a straight face because if she continued with her firm voice, he would pee in his pants.
She asked him, "So you were the one behind the idea of this project? "
"Ye...Yes, Director Park."
" What's your name? "
" G...Goo Yoo Jin ", He felt as if he had lost his voice.
" Mr. Goo, I want you to come out and discuss the presentation, because you are the person to develop the project idea and no one suits you better than you to explain to us, why should we choose your idea," Kwan said to him. Everyone nodded as to what Kwan had said was true. The person with the idea would be able to explain better than any other person why the idea is beneficial for the purpose. Goo yoo Jin mustered up his courage and came out and walked towards the center ahead of where manager Kim stood before. After pep talking with himself, he cheered himself up, 'Goo yoo Jin fighting'. With a sigh he again glanced towards the entire room and saw his team members mouthing him 'fighting', giving them a small assuring smile he turned and began the presentation.
Everybody once again was engrossed in the presentation and among all Kwan was the most engrossed person. She liked the idea, this young lad had presented and would bring a huge profit to the purpose. After the presentation ended, Kwan was still thinking and others were intently waiting for her response. After getting her thoughts straight, she looked straight toward Goo yoo jin.
"In this file here I looked at your entire presentation details and it's quite impressive but it still needs a complete overview. You did a good job. But for this marketing plan, we need a high-profile athlete, with a strong impact. The idea is yours, so who do you suggest for the idea you presented." Kwan was all facts. She liked the presentation and its idea and now her focus was on the spokesperson. Goo yoo Jin was elated upon being praised by the lady boss of his department. She was an inspiration for the entire team. But he was stunned too. She was asking his opinion on the project's spokesperson. After thinking for a minute or two. He spoke, " Director, as the product we are trying to introduce in the market and the way the presentation proceeds, I would personally suggest that we choose the current sensation among the swimming athletes, Lee Byung Ho."
Kwan hmmed and then asked again, " Why should the company choose him?
Upon hearing her, manager Kim replied to her question.
"Director, he is currently rising in the bars. He is preparing for his Olympics and has a good fan following. Also not only is he famous for his talent but he is quite famous for his looks and the fact that he is the younger brother of the famous Hallyu star, Lee Bo Ram. So the limelight is too much on him. He is the perfect person for the purpose."
Upon hearing the reason and some more discussions, Kwan gave the green light for the said spokesperson. Now she had to bring this idea in front of the higher-ups in the next meeting for the upcoming product release. After giving a few instructions to manager Kim, as he was the one responsible for the project, and after asking him to meet her in her office along with Goo yoo jin, she adjourned the meeting and left before anyone could greet her.
'Lee Byung Ho', she had looked into his profile before, he was a good choice but she still had a lot to research and then prepare a perfect presentation to show in front of the higher-ups. This project meant a lot for the company and it would bring huge profits to the company. She had a lot to do and be prepared for the meeting, which was in three days. ' Guess another series of sleepless nights are waiting for you Kwan, 'fighting.' Cheering herself, she walked towards her cabin.
