Chapter 6: Compensate Me

"Sorry." He stated, sheepishly.

Hunter glared back at him.

"What? I said sorry." Stacey snapped feeling slightly uncomfortable. He went to stand up but Hunter pulled him back down.

His large fingers slid around the base of Stacey's neck and Stacey gulped as a rush of adrenaline pumped through him.

'Why is he so close? Why is he pulling me back down?' Hunter's words echoed in his head.

"Don't look away." And his brain supplemented what it would be like if Hunter were pinning him down the way that poor helpless fortunate person had been last night.

But Hunter surprised him.

I didn't say you could leave. Hunter stated calmly. But his eyes were anything but that. They flashed dangerously back at him daring him to try again.

"You didn't ask me to climb on top of you in the first place." Stacey pointed out.

Hunter smirked, viciously. "Maybe next time. For now. Compensate me."
