1 Chapter 1~ Skylar POV

"Skylar aren't you ready for school" mum yelled downstairs. "I'm coming mum".

I woke up having a weird feeling about today and yes that's because I'd be going to a new school. Since I was a child I hated hanging out with friends... I didn't have friends, mom was always busy at work and always went on business trips... Dad left us when I was 3 years. I've always be a loner, mom thought I needed a new environ ment so voe moved out of California and here we're in New York.It's a very nice place but I don't think i can change. I'm so used to being a lone always looking like a nerd in school so no one wanted to associate with me. I got up, brushed my teeth, took my bath wore a Pink floral gown with white sneakers, packed my hair in bun despite having a shiny, waist length dark hair. I'm not the makeup type....so yea I'm ready for school. I went downstairs to meet mum cause she'll be giving me a ride to school today. I was so nervous.I finally got to school I walked feeling more nervous. I walked into my class and a young lady who would probably be in her early thirties welcomed me in. Her name was Miss Jackson. She asked me to introduce myself to the lass and assigned a seat to me. Everyone eyes were all on me and i became really shy. I could hear them saying different things.

"Is she a new stud?"

"Why does she look like a nerd?"

I ignored all the comments and walked to my seat. After about two more classes which felt like ages I finally heard the bell indicating lunch time.
