49 Side chapter #1

[ Audrey's pov]

"Ok, by Mekena." I said, hanging up the phone. We had been talking for a while but she needed to get ready for her date with Kion. I have never told anyone but, I have a crush on her boyfriend. I have been distancing myself a little because of the guilt. I dont want them to break up, especially if its my fault.

I sighed and got off of my bed, putting on my shoes and jacket and leaving. I dont know where I am planning to go but I just need to cool my head. I walked into the nearby café and sat down in the table far from other people.

Not long after a waiter came and took my order. After I got my drink I paid and left, walking towards the park that was just around the corner. When I got their I was relieved to see that their werent many people here, just some guy that doesn't even look nineteen sitting on the bench with a stroller. I didnt want to sit by him but the other bench was all the way on tmthe other side of the park and all I want to do is sit. I sighed and went to the bench and sat down as far away from him as possible (which wasn't very far given the size of the bench) the only thing separating us was a diaper bag.

"Oh, hello." He said. I looked to see if he was talking to me and saw that he was looking directly at me. I smiled and said hello, not wanting to seem rude.

"Sorry if I'm taking up to much space, I dont want her bag to get dirty." He said while moving the bag closer to himself. "Its ok, is this your sister?" I asked. He laughed and shook his head, "No, its my daughter." To say I was shocked was an understatement, " Daughter? You look so young." I said. He just laughed again.

"Yeah, I'm only eighteen, me and her mother had her when we were only sixteen, but he died during childbirth." He said. "I'm sorry, it must've been hard raising a child while trying to go to school all by yourself. One of my friends is in the same position, he is going to give birth any day now." I said. He looked at me and smiled.

"Yeah, it was hard, but I had my friends and family, even her mothers parents helped me. They would watch her while I went to school. Oh, im sorry, I'm telling you all this with out even telling you my name, im Liam." He said holding his hand out for me to shake, which I gladly did.

We talked some more and even exchanged numbers, he seemed like a cool guy and I wanted to talk to him again. We decided to walk around the block, making a few stops so he could change, feed or just hold his daughter. Soon it became ten O'clock and that was my cue to go home. He politely walked me home and we said our goodbyes.

" Well, this is me." I said. "Goodbye Audrey, I hope we get to meet again soon, I really enjoyed your company." He said. "I hope so too," I squatted down to Rayne's stroller so that I was talking to her, " see you later, Raynie." I cooed while she just giggled. "Bye-bye, Awdwey" She said. I said goodbye again before disappearing into my house.
