Land of Ancestors

Uwa Uwa Uwa Uwa...

Sounds of baby crying spread throughout the house.

Aino came running down the corridor happily. She quickly opened the door and was shocked to see Princess Kaguya crying while holding a baby. This is the first time in her knowledge she saw expression on Kaguya's face. She knows that Kaguya is no ordinary person and she has a great responsibility when she came to their planet. She is a Goddess in her memory.

"My lady" Aino greeted Kaguya.

Recovering from her thoughts, Kaguya said "Ren. His name is Otsutsuki Ren." She gently stroked his hair and said "My boy, you going to be a great person in the future who will bring change to our clan. After all you are his son." Her thought drifted to past memories when she was the matriarch of Otsutsuki clan. How she and her husband patriarch Otsutsuki Kami fought together with their family against the extremist factions of elders and great elders. The extremist faction believed in eating 'Chakra Fruits' from 'God Tree' to increase lifespan without proper hard work.

Otsutsuki clan was ones reputed as God clan for their work of overseeing all living beings. But this all changed when some elders discovered that by eating chakra fruit they don't need any training or hard work to increase their power and lifespan. 'Chakra Fruit' which was an emergency divine fruit to be eaten only when situation is extremely dire as 'God Tree' drains vitality from planet to bear fruit. Planets vitality takes long time to replenish. So if vitality is over extracted all lifeforms in the planet will die and planet becomes barren.

Now their clan has become a clan of madmen who will go to any length to grow god tree. Led by Otsutsuki Akuma they rebelled against her and her husband killed all their family. Her husband died fighting against them to allow her to flee to distant planet where she can give birth to their child in peace and help him grow so that they can come back and change everything.

Looking at Ren her eyes softened and she began to worry about the child's future. She knows that one day they will find her and kill her son before he can grow to full potential. She need to find a suitable place for him to grow up. In this planet, humans are dominant species and they are in constant warfare with each country. If she can bring peace to this land and build up an army to face against the Otsutsukis, then it will help her in her plan. But humans are greedy species. They hunt for more power once they got their hands. So she is in conflict in sharing her chakra with them. She thought about using force to do so, but didn't.

She looked outside of the window to the towering 'God Tree'. She has thoughts of taking the chakra fruit to increase her powers but she doesn't want to as she will be no different than the extremist faction. Looking at the sleeping face of Ren she decided to train him and prepare for the future. He may be face difficulties and can't grow like a normal child. But it is better than to die without fighting. She hopes that he will understand her circumstances in the future.

But little did she know that fate has different plan for her child and her...
