56 SCHOOL AU: CHAPTER 1

The prestigious university in the east, many wealthy students coming from famous and prestigious backgrounds graduated and have sent their heirs to their alma mater to continue their studies to learn how to be part of high class society.

Only a few people of the middle class are fortunate enough to be accepted.

And… one of them is- the heroine of the game.

"Please will you accept this letter, Lady Blanchet? I've been admiring you for so long and I… just- I like you." A handsome blonde boy smiles while holding out a love letter towards the heroine of the game. He has liked this one special girl for the months she's been attending school, the boy couldn't help himself but sneak a glance at her when he could.

The girl bites her lip saying nothing as she stares at the letter being offered to her. It was a little awkward to feel… pressured.

"Take it, I'll wait for your answer soon!" Being unable to handle the silence, the boy could only take a deep breath and forcefully give the girl the letter, placing it in front of her textbook, running away feeling like he has successfully done all he can and hopes for the best.

"..."

It was valentine's day.

Every couple in school has flocked together wearing matching red clothes, the single girls flocking the most popular guys and asking for them to accept their chocolates or other trinkets that might help win their affection.

She… already has a letter of her own and she plans on giving it to someone special.

Thud!

"I suggest you leave him alone if you want to have a peaceful year here in university."

The villainess of the school pushed an exchange student into the wall, cornering her.

"Miss Analissa Blanchet, I will give you anything you want if you keep your distance as long as you follow."

The protagonist holds a love letter in her hand from a boy named Dereck Louvecroft.

It is the man whom the villainess is engaged with and the one who shoved the letter right in her hands.

"Throw that letter away." She demands.

"...!"

Analissa Blanchet, a foreign exchange student from U.K, England has found herself in a bit of a pickle after a senior from next door has become interested in and asked if she was single. February was the month of love, she just transferred from her old school for having too many issues, gossip and false rumors of her taking other people's boyfriends.

The bullying became more frequent and she needed to go.

It wasn't even a whole six months and now she was being wall-slammed by her crush.

"Lady Evelyn…" (Analissa) mutters, she has seen that figure everywhere in the school for the past two months. Her beauty, grace, elegance and the way that she carried herself around the school was everything that she admired.

Lady Evelyn Alarie, a girl from her class who was quiet, kept to herself but when it came to group projects and team-building activities she was the Queen. Everyone would follow her instructions making sure to meet the expectations that she required.

She would never let anyone copy her but she helped those who were struggling to keep up in class even if she didn't need to. Analissa was never one of them but she watches closely.

Miss Analissa would love that part of her and wished she could tell her how amazing she is.

From her long dark purple hair, eyes that reminded her of the finest amethyst gems money can buy and her lovely figure. Every day in class, her eyes would find their way to stare at Lady Evelyn focused on listening and writing their notes.

"Yes, will you follow my orders?"

Analissa said nothing and took something out of her pocket. "This is for you."

Lady Evelyn blinks confusedly, she raises her guard thinking it would be something dangerous but stops when it is just a piece of paper that is in her hands. "What is this?"

Analissa's blue eyes watered as her hands shook uncontrollably from being nervous, her heart pounded but she lowered her head and politely told her. "A love letter."

"A... love letter?"

Lady Evelyn's jaw dropped when she realized what the letter may have meant. "T-This is for me? Are you sure of it?"

A love letter would mean a confession, does the girl in front of her like her... 'that way'? Like how a man and a woman do? But... how? Why?

"Yes, the letter is for you. I made it... I kept... remaking it until I was satisfied and found the right words that my heart has been too afraid to say." (Analissa) takes in a deep breath, watching and feeling her heart beating so loudly like a drum.

"I have liked you ever since the first day. You may have not remembered but- you saved me." The blonde girl smiles, picking herself back up and smiling. "I like you even now. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"..."

The villainess was stunned as she held the letter in her hand now. It was her first time receiving a confession from a girl, it felt weird- but in a nice way.

To love another girl... is it possible?

Girlfriend?

If they were girlfriends, would they get to hold hands, go on dates, feed each other ice cream, go on bird watching or even book shopping and even... doing something more?

"...!"

Perish the thought, how advanced did her brain plan everything? Her face was flustered after having some unholy thoughts, the blonde girl was quite the looker in their class and the villainess always did a glance or two when she wasn't looking.

The new transfer student took the whole school by storm with her unrivaled beauty and cuteness, earning the nickname [The Heroine] by everyone around. Those baby blue eyes that you could never say no to, her pink lips that looked perfect and her blonde hair that reminded her of the bright sun just like her personality.

Because of these traits, every guy in the school became interested and began asking her out but every single one she rejected- the reason speculated was because she needed to focus on her studies, but now it was proven as false.

A person such as popular as this was confessing to her?

"I-I mean..." (Lady Evelyn) intends to reject the girl. It would be best, she doesn't want to keep her classmate in a one-sided relationship where they would end up hurting each other anyway.

"Y-Yes?"

Analissa used her signature move, playing with her little puppy eyes to do their trick and she wanted to get to know the villainess a little better because the horrible rumors are just not true!

Lady Evelyn sees her little puppy eyes, being so determined to be her lover she looks away and covers half of her face to hide her flustered expression.

'How unfair?! How can you say no to that face?!' She fought herself internally fighting reason with her desire to say yes.

"F-First why do you like me? We haven't even talked to each other much... I don't think you have any good reason to like me." (Lady Evelyn) asked a reasonable question to which the blonde girl replied happily with a slightly reddened face.

"I like you because you're you. There are many reasons why I like you, Lady Evelyn." (Analissa) smiles slowly, a bit embarrassed to say it all out loud.

"But my favorite one should be it's because my heart beats so fast when you're around and my eyes can't help but look for you. You're interesting, one of a kind, amazing, spectacular, talented, and down to earth." It took a good five minutes before the heroine could stop listing every reason that she had, why in the world she liked villainess despite not even talking.

And each reason made her feel shy.

"Oh, and I like your pet bird. He's cute. I... follow your socials. I hope you don't mind." She shows her phone without any hesitation, opening her instagram account seeing a little sparrow bird picture that was eating from the palm of her hand.

Miss Analissa Blanchet actually follows her account.

The Villainess raises an eyebrow to how come she didn't know the blonde girl was following her socials, and realized it was a dummy account where she doesn't post any pictures of herself but just her art drawings she does in her free time.

Lady Evelyn's eyes sparkled hearing someone else finding her pet bird cute. Her little pet bird named Losimer was a rescue pet and was a part of her family. Out of all the reasons that she gave, this one was probably the one that caught her heart. "A-Ahem. G-Girlfriend... I... I still have to break off my engagement but- after I'm done with that?"

"I can wait!"

"Oh! Um... good."

The two stood in silence not knowing where the conversation should go. Lady Evelyn didn't exactly reject nor accept Analissa, so she took this as her chance to get to know her better and decided to ask her out on a date.

"Would you want to go to this newly opened book cafe, Lady Evelyn? I saw it on the internet and it's not too far away from the university." (Analissa) asked, a little nervous that it made her stomach feel a little queasy. "O-Only if you're free, of course, you're the student vice president you're probably busy managing some school events and-"

Lady Evelyn checks her phone, pulling out her calendar to see which day she'll be free. There were so many events booking her up but she can make time for Miss Analissa. "When is it open?"

"Oh-! Let me check." (Analissa) did a happy dance in her mind hearing Lady Evelyn making the first initiative to find the time. "Monday to Saturday... eight in the morning to seven in the evening."

"Guess I'll see you Saturday. Here you should give me your account I.D so we can talk more properly. I haven't friended you yet..." (Lady Evelyn) frowns, feeling that it was a little late to friend her at this time but the blonde girl seemed so happy hearing the offer.

Never would she have imagined that Lady Evelyn, one of the most amazing people in university, had actually, ahem, almost accepted her confession!

She gave her phone excitedly and yelled, "I-It's a date!"

Lady Evelyn hearing the word date made her heart leap unexpectedly. "I suppose it is a date."

With a last bow of thanks, Analissa walked happily with a huge smile on her face and gladly threw the love letter given to him by her senior Dereck in the trash can as the villainess ordered.

The villainess waves her goodbye before realizing that her classmate just asked her out on a date, got her number and now she doesn't have anything to wear on that date.

"Oh… I don't know what I should wear on a date."

They ended up texting the villainess until three in the morning. Both of them did not sleep much and had a hard time not texting each other back in class.
