Translation suck for latest release. Story ok, but the quality of the update is disappointing. The worst part is we need to pay ss for bad update + chinese character as well. Heck translator even include raw in the update!

After chapter 565 came a new translator, ****ty, crafty, sly bastard. Went premium with machine translation without editing, now add either half translated chapter or adds original chineese text to increase word count and get more SS

The translator goes radio silent. And 1 month later they get a machine to translate it full of nonsensical terms and MAKE IT PREMIUM. At this point even a r*tard would understand that QI is just f***ing with us. I'm extremely disappointed with every decision made regarding this novel in the last month. The character building is well done (like in most of the novels of this author). Which makes this new translation even more of a crime. If i wanted low quality TL i would go read this in a free website... QI is hell bent on throwing away their niche marquet...

Although i really liked this novel im now completely convinced its not worth reading. Premium after a "mass release" and inconsistent update stability wiyh machine translating? No thanks...

So when is the "mass release"? Or "mass delay"? Please just 1 chapt/day is enough. Dont be like this and make the readers wait. And thank you for translating the story.

Translation speed is slowing down with the time .... It is a grt novel with good story and character development but this translation speed just kills the mood. not a single chapter in last 7 days..

im not going to review this novel But. is there something wrong with translator team? i've been here all the time since it release...40 chap/week its seem just decoration,..i admit this stuff is good..

I believe the translator should change translation speed from 39 chapters/week ---> 3.9 chapters/week cause seriously thats what it is.. Apart from that the story is good and goes along at a decent pace. Also love the fact that it has not been dragged on needlessly.

I'm reading the original and translation at the same time，athough some classical poems can't be translated well，it will have some impact on emotion. But it's still a very good novel.Just enjoy it，enjoy kinship，enjoy brotherhood and enjoy the love.

Overused fat friend trope. Plus that bastard is a true scum of the earth. Just because some guy pranked on him and made his fat **** lose a bit of face, he killed that person's entire family. Now you might think what is that prank, it's literally just tissue papers in toilet.. this fat garbage even sold his wife in betting and when he has no way out, he even sold his best friend to save him. Truly, a literal piece if trash. Now, one might think why am i rating it so low just because of a single character. Well, this bastard ruined the entire novel.

Translation went downhill around c580 or so when the new translator picked this novel up. Used my saved up SS to catch up but it was just a waste.☹️

Quality of translation is gettibg bad as the day passes by. Somtimes chapters are even filled with raws (for the later chapters) to increase the SS that we need to spend

I enjoy the story overall. My main complaint is primarily with the translator, who has begun including untranslated sections to the end of each chapter for SS. Might as well spend it elsewhere.

The novel itself is good. But since the change of translator the quality dropped severely. Feels like reading a machine translation right now.

Really hope webnovel can change tje translator..he or she are doing a lousy job..the novel is so far ahead in chinese but here we are stuck with barely any chapter per month. This is not TDG where the author just being lazy but translator which is abundant.

Great novel so far! Only issue is the frequency of release. No updates n no release. Does anybody know any other sites or translator willingly to take over this novel or has already taken over. If so, please share. Thank You

40ch/ week ... it’s probably 40ch/year .... updates are fucking slower than tortoise .. at this rate it would at least a decade to complete the series .. it’s better to replace the translater... may be translater is a fucking cocktease 😡😡😡

Great novel with Great plot and Characters. I like how JMX conquers his heroines and how he solve the problems ruthlessly. Just that the updates is slow and sometimes the translation quality go down

How is possible, that it's premium? shame on you, or you do a professional job or better drop off the novels, or return to previous state, remember when the translators were doing this for fun or because they care, and then come qidian and start monetizing everything and releases become irregular, quality turn form good enough to sad, I'm loosing the joy of reading light novels, is not fun anymore.

Very bad translation from a translator who has never read the previous chapter. I regret the previous translator. To become premium and have a drop of quality, it's insulting for the readers
