Who would have thought that these two were actually the student council president and vice president.

"Kousei-kun, how about we talk somewhere else? We're attracting too much attention here," Ichinose suggested, glancing around the classroom.

"Well, I guess that's a good idea," I replied, feeling a bit self-conscious about all the eyes on us. "Where should we go?"

"Of course! The Student Council Room! Follow me," she said, waving at my classmates as we made our way out of the classroom.

As we walked through the school corridors, I could hear whispers among my classmates.

"Damn... That Niimi... How did they meet?"

"I'm jealous..."

I couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable with all the attention.

After all, The student council president was known for her cool demeanor and beauty, while the vice president was known for her cuteness and shyness.

I had seen the student council secretary once, and she was a known bookworm who was always at the top of her class in the third year.

"Sorry about that, Niimi-kun."

"I-It's fine."

We finally arrived at the Student Council Room, and Ichinose gestured for me to enter. Once inside, the secretary greeted us with a blank expression. "Welcome."

"We're back," Ichinose replied politely, meanwhile, I bowed.

Ichinose motioned for me to take a seat, and she and Yunyun sat across from me.

"So, what did you want to talk about?"

Ichinose and Yunyun exchanged glances before Ichinose spoke up. "Actually, we wanted to talk to you about joining the Student Council."

I blinked as I rubbed my eyes and sighed. "Hold on... Can you repeat that? I'm not sure I heard correctly."

Ichinose chuckled and grinned. "Sure, would you be interested in joining the Student Council, Kousei-kun?"

"W-Wait, why me? There are plenty of students out there with great potential!"

"Pfft~ Ahahaha!" The secretary laughed, wiping her tears. "Niimi-kun, what is your name?"

"Niimi Kousei."

"Niimi-kun, if there were many students with great potential, it wouldn't be difficult for the president to invite them to join the Student Council... but that's not all." She looked at Ichinose.

"The president chose you because you have something more than just potential."

"T-That's true!" Yunyun chimed in, looking down.

"But still..."

"Let me give you a reason why I chose you," Ichinose said, clearing her throat. "You're good at observing people."

"Huh? What's that got to do with the Student Council?" I asked, confused.

Ichinose leaned back in her chair, a thoughtful expression on her face. "In the Student Council, we deal with various issues and represent the student body.

"Your ability to observe people and understand their perspectives will be an invaluable asset in making fair and informed decisions."

"But... I'm just a regular student," I said, feeling a bit uncertain. "I don't have any special talents or abilities."

Ichinose smiled warmly. "Sometimes, it's the regular students with compassion and empathy who make the best leaders. Don't underestimate yourself, Kousei-kun."

Yunyun blushed slightly. "We believe in you, Niimi-kun."

"D-Do you mind if I think it over for a moment?"

"Yeah! Sure! Don't keep us waiting too long, though."

"Hm? Why?"

"Well... The School Festival is next week, so we need to finalize our team before then," Yunyun explained.

Ichinose nodded in agreement. "We have some preparations to make, and we'd like you to be part of it. Your input and ideas would be valuable for the festival planning."

"Alright, I'll let you know tomorrow," I finally said.

Ichinose beamed with excitement. "That's great to hear, Kousei-kun! We'll be looking forward to your decision."

Yunyun nodded, her shy smile returning. "Yes, please let us know as soon as possible."

With that, I left the Student Council room, my mind abuzz with thoughts.

Though... They believed in me... I'm more concerned about my schedule... Also, Ichinose's face and voice sound very familiar...

A thought popped up as I remembered the time I first did a face reveal to Ryuji (Ichi). "Nah, surely it's not her."

As I walked through the school hallway, I couldn't shake off the feeling of familiarity. It nagged at me, but I tried to push it aside. "Maybe I'm just overthinking things," I muttered to myself.
