Guilds

The next day after the bully fiasco, Vinley was asked to stay behind by his homeroom teacher as everyone else left. Knowing that the teacher was going to talk about the situation that happened yesterday, Vinley hoped the punishment wouldn't be too bad. Then again, he did destroy a young boy's future since the way he wasted the boy left no remains for recovery.

"Mister River, do you know why you're here instead of in your next class?" The homeroom teacher questioned.

Remembering the teacher's name, Vinley sighed and said.. "Miss Afey, just tell me what my punishment will be."

The teacher's kind smile froze for a second before a blue aura surrounded her. This color indicated that she was of the heavenly realm and from the pressure, Vinley could feel that his perception was right as she was at the peak. This would have scared any normal kid or even some low heavenly realm experts but to Vinley who had gone through many terrors and monsters, it was child's play. Not to mention the fact that he himself had also just jumped into the peak of the heavenly realm, not in just soul cultivation but also his body cultivation.

Releasing his own aura of power, a swirl of blue and purple surrounded him. Vinley gave the teacher a stare as she was visibly shaken, her aura of mana dimming as she understood that the student before her was stronger than herself. For a cultivator to reach the heavenly realm in both soul and body, it would take dozens of years. Organa was a prodigy herself but even she couldn't have entered the heavenly realm before the age of twenty.

"Releasing your mana like that isn't very nice. If it was anyone else, they would have been on the floor puking their stomach out." Vinley said as he walked up to her. "Now i'll ask again, what's my punishment?"

The teacher calmed herself as best as she could before she spoke. "I'm not here to punish you but to invite you into the Silver Dragon Guild."

"Silver Dragon?" Thinking about the name, Vinley remembered that he had read about them last night when he was scouring the web for various information.

The Silver Dragon group was one of 00000 groups that protected the cities all around the planet from the monsters. The Gold Palm Guild, The Jade Skull Guild, The Azure Blade Guild, The Stone Beast Guild and The Silver Dragon Guild, each made up Guardian and Guardian's main headquarters were located in Hope City.

"I thought no one was able to join guilds until they were eighteen?" Vinley asked.

"You're right." Miss Afey answered before she explained. "You can't join guilds but the guild can help you grow and become stronger until you are able. You must be reaching a peak now that you're in the heavenly realm right?"

Vinley restrained his aura as he became lost in thought. While he wouldn't have a block in his cultivation until the Saint Cultivation stage for his soul and body, some help to accelerate his cultivation would be nice. He knew he would also need some backing in this new world as the blonde boy who's cultivation he had wasted must have belonged to another guild. He could protect himself but he couldn't always be by his younger sister to protect her.

"Fine. I guess I can join your guild." Vinley said after some thought.

"Excellent!"
