The Beast moved again and attacked with its claws. Since Lumine knew that she can't compete with strength, instead of blocking she parried it to the right.

While doing so, she also gathered strength in her right leg and kicked at the beast's chest.

BAM!!

Both happened simultaneously, parrying and kicking. Because of that the beast didn't have time to guard against it.

The impact of the kick pushed beast one step back.

Ignoring the pain, she was feeling in her leg as if she hit the iron board, Lumine swung her sword towards the beast's neck.

CLING!!

The Beast moved its left claw and blocked it before the sword could touch it.

As it was thinking it succeeded, it noticed Traveler's left hand which was again in front of its chest with more Anemo power gathered in it then before.

WAIL!!

WHIZ!!

BANG!!!

The wind vortex again hit the beast at the point-blank range pushing it three steps back this time.

It didn't get the moment to stabilize itself as Lumine followed and slashed at its neck again.

SLASH!!

As a result, the beast failed to stopped it and a cut appeared on its neck. Mostly because the beast neck was not as strong as its body yet and there was also a layer of Anemo element which Lumine condensed at the edge of her sword making it somewhat sharper.

BOOM!

For the first time, Beast jumped back and maintained some distance. It was no longer looking down on Lumine. On the contrary, in its eyes Lumine was more dangerous than Eula and Amber together.

Even though the Knights had strong teamwork, the beast was still able to catch them off guard with its unusual moves. However, Lumine on the other hand as if can predict the beast's next moves and didn't give it the chance to use them.

It was all thanks to Primis training. Because of that Lumine's swordsmanship had reached a whole different level. Hence, she could easily see many opening in the Beast's attacks who was only attacking using its instincts and brute force.

Still, it was taxing for Lumine keep up since the gap between their levels was too big. A single mistake was all the Beast need to rip her head apart with its high speed and strength.

'Lumine: I must make sure to have full concentration on this Hilichurl and don't get distracted.'

???: ORYAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suddenly there a shout and Lumine saw Yuuya jumping at the Beast while holding claymore in his hands.

There was Anemo element around him which was increasing the speed of his fall.

By the time he reached the Beast, he swung his sword at him.

SLASH!!

CLING!!

Though Beast easily blocked it with one hand.

Yuuya: ...

A dumbfounded expression appeared on his face as he didn't expect this outcome.

When Yuuya reached Lumine's location, the only thing it saw Beast making a distance from her. Thinking that it wanted to escape, Yuuya directly attack it. He thought he would be able to easily kill it and then Lumine will thank him for not letting this monster escape. Because of that, he didn't even bother checking the beast level.

Getting shocked, the Yuuya eyes started shinning as he used Appraisal. In the next second, a chill went down his spine.

'Yuuya: SH*T!!!!'

While he was panicking, the Beast grunted in annoyance that another weak human got in the way while it was about to hunt its new prey.

It raised its another claw to end Yuuya when...

FWOOSH!!!

An arrow embedded with Anemo element came out of nowhere and hit it.

BANG!!

The force behind the arrow was a lot higher compared to the one released by Amber. It pushed the Beast few steps back resulting it to let go of Yuuya.

Landing on the ground, Yuuya took a sigh of relief and looked back.

Yuuya: Thanks, Venti!

Venti: You are welcome, Traveler Yuuya.

The Bard also caught up with them and nodded his head. Although compared to before when he was smiling most of the time, that smile was no longer present of his face.

He can see through the strength of the Beast and can tell how dangerous it is.

'Venti: This creature must be eliminated or the entire Mondstadt will suffer in future.'

Paimon: Lumine!!!!

Paimon also flew towards Lumine the moment she reached here.

Lumine: Paimon, we will talk later. For now, return.

Hearing the seriousness in Lumine's tone, Paimon didn't ask anything and nodded. Next, she turned into light and disappeared into Lumine's mind.

Venti: Glad to see that we arrived in time.

He said while approaching Lumine.

Lumine: Um. I hate to admit it but I don't think I can defeat it on my own. Let alone kill.

Yuuya: Don't worry, Lumine. With us together, we will emerge victorious.

The Transmigrator said while walking over to them. Even though he was frustrated that his planning of become hero didn't work, he didn't show it on his face.

Venti: Yeah. Still, it won't be easily.

Bard said in solemnly while looking at the Beast who was walking towards them step by step. The injury made by the arrow released by Venti had already started to heal.

Watching it, Lumine frowned as she sensed something.

'Lumine: Why does it appear...'

She didn't continue her thoughts instead her eyes started glowing and she used appraisal again.

'Lumine: Are you kidding me!?'

She screamed inwardly in shock.

Venti: Oh. You noticed it too. Huh.

Lumine: Um. This Hilich--- Beast is becoming stronger as we even fight.

Yuuya: No way!

Ignoring him, Lumine held the handle of her sword tightly and charged towards it.

Yuuya: Hey! Wait for me!

With this Yuuya also followed. Venti was also pointing his bow at the Beast, ready to provide any support.

While the Beast who was looking at Venti, its new prey, it turned its head towards the approaching Lumine and Yuuya.

When there was five-meter distance between them, Lumine concentrated Anemo element in her feet to boost her jump at the Beast.

Appearing in front of it, Lumine attacked.

But since the beast was no longer looking down on its prey, it blocked her with its claw.

Yuuya, who copied Lumine appeared on the other side of the Beast and waved its claymore.

Venti released a barrage of arrows at it.

Having no intention of taking them head on again, the Beast pushed both Lumine and Yuuya away and started dodging the arrows.

Small explosions occurred wherever those Anemo embedded arrows hit.

'Lumine: Whoa. His control over the Anemo element far surpassed mine. I have seen Amber releasing pryo embedded arrows before. But she need time to gather pryo element first. On the other hand, this bard is releasing Anemo charged arrows like they are normal arrows...… He is more than what meets the eyes.'

A trace of suspicion rose in Lumine's heart but she decided not to think about it for now since she Venti was on their side right now.

Jumping to the side, the Beast dodged another arrow. It then saw Lumine who was already in its path.

Hence, without a second hesitation, it extended its claws towards her.

Even when witnessing the coming attack, Lumine didn't retreat as wind currents started to gather around her. Next, she spun in the sky while a tornado appeared on her location and move towards the Beast catching it off guard.

WAIL!!

WHIZ!!

BANG!!!

The tornado hit the beast but it remained standing on its place taking all the damage.

FWOOSH!!!

This time all the arrows launched by Venti hit the beast, bursting its flesh as the pieces and blood fell on the snow dying it with its colored.

Yuuya: ORYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Letting out an excited shout, Yuuya also attacked not letting go of this opportunity.

SLASH!!

SPLURT!!

A cut appeared on the beast chest and blood leaked out of it.

In other time it was not possible for Yuuya's claymore to cut through the Beast skin. However, he used something provided by his system to make it happen.

While Lumine and Venti were astonished, a triumphant smile was on Yuuya's face.

'Yuuya: My time to shine.'

Hence, time went by.

Five hours later.

Primis finally woke up from meditation.

His eyes were no longer dark. They were now bluish black in color.

'Primis: Never expect that the power in that Divine Nail not only heal some of my injuries but also provide such a gift.'

Makoto: M-My Lord.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Primis looked at Makoto whose face was pale in color.

Primis: What happened?

Instead of answering, Makoto pointed down.

Turning his gaze to where she was pointing, Primis saw a carnage below.

The red battlefield with the corpses of three people. Eula, Amber and ......Lumine.
