Even when witnessing the Hilichurl being engulfed in explosion, Amber didn't let her guard down. She was still pointing her bow in front. Ready for any surprise attack.

A minute or so later, the smoke blew away and that Hilichurl could be seen lying in the middle of the crater.

It had burnt marks all over its body and blood was leaking out of its injuries. He appeared dead.

Amber neither try to get close to check on it nor she lowered her vigilance. She had a feeling that it's not over yet.

And she was right. In the next second, Hilichurl body twitched as it rose from the ground slowly and slowly with some difficulty.

It was glaring menacing at Amber as if she was its biggest enemy.

Noticing this Amber flinched as her body started shivering. Still, she didn't let go of her hand from the string.

She took a deep breath to bury the fear that had started to form in her heart and gathered all of her remaining elemental power into her arrow.

Outrider knew she must do it because the wounds on the Hilichurl body had started healing as it was making its way towards her.

Finally, she was done and released the arrow in the sky.

'Amber: Fiery Rain!'

In other people eyes, it may appear that Amber had send a signal flare and was asking for help. But then that arrow split into many pyro arrows and fell.

FWOOOSH!!!

THIG!!

...

…

Those arrows dropped not only on the Hilichurl but also around it, making the area covered in fire, hence, increasing the damage of the arrows respectively.

Hilichurl: Grr…Gah!!!

The Hilichurl screamed in pain with every pyro arrow hitting it. Yet, it didn't stop its feet and kept on trying to reach Amber.

By the time the Fiery Rain stopped, Amber lowered her hand since that move drained all of her reserve and was now looking at Hilichurl who was just a meter away.

Seeing that it still didn't give up and continuing, Amber showed a weak smile.

'Amber: To think even my strongest move can't kill it. *sigh* If more of such unusual Hilichurl appear in Mondstadt then only Lord Bartatos could save us.'

THUCH!!

Taking one more step, Hilichurl was in front of Amber. It raised the now broken club in its hand to end her.

But even when the death was in front of her, Outrider was calm. Why? Because she was not alone.

SWOOSH!!

Eula appeared behind the Hilichurl all of sudden.

Her greatsword was fully covered in ice, making it a cryo sword.

Without a single hesitation, she brandishes her sword.

Eula: Vengeance will be mine!

'Eula: Glacial Illumination!'

SHIN!!

Hilichurl: ......

The Hilichurl's movements stopped.

CRACKLE!!

Next, its whole body got covered in ice, turning it into an ice sculpture.

The Spindrift Knight face was pale just like the Outrider since she also used all of her reserve in her strongest move.

Still, both didn't let their guard down just yet.

After a minute or two when there was no change in the frozen statue, they finally gave a sigh of relief.

Sending her claymore back into her 'inventory', Eula approached Amber and helped her up by putting her left arm over her neck.

Eula: Think you could stand up.

Amber: Hardly *HISS*

When she stood up and her dislocated foot touch the ground, a searing pain passed through her body.

Eula: Try not to move it too much. For now, we must make our way to the foot of the mountain. After resting there for a bit, we will think about how to return Mondstadt.

Amber: Um. And we must hurry. Since both our reserve are empty, we don't have any method to protect ourselves from this cold environment. The longer we stay, the higher our chances of freezing to death.

Eula also agreed with Amber and they soon left the area.

Makoto: They really defeat it.

She praised while gazing to where Eula and Amber disappeared to.

Currently both Primis and Makoto were standing on one of the broken structures that were floating high in the sky.

After the Divine Nail was devoured by Zenith flames, the power holding them disappeared and they fell. But in the last second, Primis used his own power and stopped them in their place.

[It's 2-0. Two for the Humans and zero for that Hilichurl.]

Makoto: They really are brave. Truly deserving the title of Knight.

Primis: Yeah.

CRACK!!

Makoto: …

Suddenly cracks started appearing the ice sculpture.

CRACK!!

…

BOOM!!!!!!

Finally, the Hilichurl freed itself.

All the wounds on its body were fully healed by now. Not only that, it also seemed different.

Normal Hilichurl skins were black in color but this Hilichurl body turned slight reddish. It was also emitting a strong presence compared to before.

SNIFF!!

It sniffed around for some time before rushing towards Eula's and Amber's direction.

Witnessing this, Makoto expression turned solemn.

Makoto: My Lord, they both are already injured and don't have much strength to fight another battle. Should we----

Primis: No.

Makoto: But!

Primis: Quiet.

Hearing his icy tone, Makoto shivered and stopped. Primis gave her a cold eye and opened his mouth.

Primis: Don't overstep your boundary, Makoto.

Lowering her head, she spoke while stuttering.

Makoto: I...I...I a-apologize.

No longer bothering to continue on the topic, Primis looked away.

Out of nowhere, a glint passed through Primis eyes as he sensed something inside and became amazed.

The corner of lips rose a little as he sat down in meditating position and closed his eyes.

Makoto: M-My Lord.

But there was no response. Hence, Makoto just stood behind Primis guarding him in case something unexpected happened.

Though before Primis went into meditation, he checked the strength of the Hilichurl using system's appraisal.

Eula Lawrence ---> Level 78

Amber ---> Level 75

??? I?e ?hi?l? ?i?i??u?l ?u?r?(Mutation 57%) ??? ---> Level 114

SWOOSH!!

The beast was hurriedly following the path Eula and Amber took. Right now, the only thing in its mind was tearing these humans apart and feat on them.

As the distance was shortening, it became more easier for the beast to accurately pinpoint their location.

And soon it found them.

The beast stepped on boulder and looked down. There it saw its prey who were dragging their tired bodies to leave the mountain.

A bloodthirsty smile appeared on the beast face. It was about to jump when…

???: A Hilichurl.

It heard a voice behind and stopped. Looking back, it saw a blonde girl with a flower pinned at the right side of her head.

Seeing her, it growled in anger. It can tell that compared to those two humans this human was weak.

Hence, it didn't like that such weak person stopped it when it was about to have full course of those humans.

Beast: GRRR!!

SWOOSH!!

The beast then showed the full display of its new speed and attacked her skull with its sharp claws.

SLASH!!

DRIP!!

Though, the next thing surprised it.

Lumine: That was close.

Said Lumine who had rolled out of the way at the last second.

She took out her sword from her and looked at the beast warily.

Her eyes started glowing as she used appraisal on it. In the next second, cold sweat appeared on her forehead.

'Lumine: Looks like I am in trouble.'

She thought while wiping the blood from her face. There was a cut on her cheeks which appeared when she barely dodged the claws.

She took a deep breath as Ameno element started to rotate around her and her expressions turned serious.

Feeling humiliated that a weak human dodged its attack, the beast charged at Lumine again.

SWOOSH!!

Lumine only saw a shadow of the claw and ducked.

SHIN!

She felt a wind passed by above her head, clearly indicating that the beast's attack missed.

Glancing behind, she saw the beast whose back was wide open for her, she swung her sword.

SLASH!!

Though in the next moment, she frowned noticing that her sword can't penetrate through the beast skin as there was only a minor scratch at the contact.

All of sudden with instinct, Lumine moved her head back and bent her body behind.

FWOOSH!!

Because of that she dodged the kick which beast launched without looking back.

Lumine head would have cracked opened if the kick had hit her.

WHIZ!!

WAIL!!

She then pointed her free hand forward and release palm vortex.

BAM!!

There was a wind explosion and using its momentum Lumine jumped back and maintained some distance.

Though she was shocked to see that the beast was unharmed and unmoved even after taking that Ameno attack at point blank-range.

'Lumine: I have never fought some a strong monster in my last years of travelling. If not for the Mr. Erste training that is now engraved in my bones, I would be died the moment it attacked.'

Looking at the beast who was about to attack again, Lumine also readied herself for a tough battle that was about to beginning.

Lumine ---> Level 68
